i never buy
i never buy. here. whent all they way from aberdeen scotland. that cost me £600 trains. taxi. and bus. and hotel. the car there was marks all over the body. and inside the car. i was told there was no marks. and frount bumper at the top was a bad resprey. i was not told this. no way that car look like it has done 9000 miles. Beware. buying here. the only good thing i got my dep. back. and stay at york for a night. They never offered to take me back to train they should of give me money. for that car coming down

Thank you for your review Iain, it is unfortunate that you felt you needed to leave a 1* review. You did not express any anger and emotion on the day you came down and spoke with management, so to say you have left a 1* review amazes us.
We do not tell any customers that a vehicle has no marks as you are purchasing a used car, not new, regardless of the miles and the car in question we can confirm is 9k miles, genuine and approved, and is a 2017 model, this means the car has been on the road for 7 years, so there are going to be a couple of marks that are expected for the age of the vehicle.
When you were on site we gave you time to look at the vehicle and if there was another car on site that you wanted to transfer the deposit across to, or alternatively a discount for the marks that you had pointed out, even though the car is priced to sell. You declined both options and asked for your money back which we did not argue with and deposited back into your account within 5 minutes.
We apologise you had what felt a wasted journey but we feel the 1* review is a bit harsh.
100% recommend
Smooth sailing from start to end, the car is exactly as described. A massive thank you to Tom and Jason who were prompt and fab at dealing with any queries. Super friendly team.

THIEVES
I left a deposit online in the evening but after a last minute charge of circumstances with the car I was selling privately and the company not taking credit card for partial payment (which wasn’t listed anywhere on their website) they refused to refund my £149 deposit the next morning and said I would need to go into the branch, all be it, 150miles away from me. I could understand if the company had actually DONE ANYTHING such as prepped the car for me or taken it off off sale but i put the deposit down after the branch had closed on Friday evening and called first thing on Saturday morning 🥹 AVOID they are just thieves… and they just block your number if they don’t want to speak to you 👍🏽 and if saying “thanks for stealing my money” is classed as verbal abuse, I’m astonished. How can it be the case your deposit gets refunded if you go into the garage, but not over the phone, this leads me to believe the statement of £100 per platform is false.

You have mentioned in your review that you left the holding deposit after a change in your circumstance of part ex and "also the company not taking credit card for partial payment." You were aware that we don't accept credit cards yet felt you needed to reserve the vehicle to not lose out on it. Patrick relayed all this information to you earlier on in the day over the phone and explained the reservation option with you, to which you were happy to proceed.
As for the "actually done anything", when a reservation is left on our website it shows the vehicle as deposit taken and gets removed from all our partner sites as vehicle deposited/sold. If a customer does not wish to proceed then we have to re-advertise the car with an average price of £100 per platform.
As for the blocking of your number, I apologize this shouldn't have been done but Patrick felt the need to do this due to the verbal abuse given on the phone. At the end of the day we are human beings and do not come to work to be abused by customers.
We strive to give 5* service to our customers so an internal review will be conducted, if you are wishing to re-book in for the vehicle we are happy to allocate the deposit to the vehicle.
Buy a car with peace of mind
They give honest advise and help with the search for the right car. They did not push for any of the available cars, but searched what cars were coming in and by doing that they found exactly the car we’re looking for! Then the help with finding the right finance was absolute outstanding!

Exelent service from start to finish
Exelent service from start to finish. We wanted to look at the car the previous weekend to us buying it and after putting a secure deposit down to take the car off sale for 48 hours we was unable to go and the deposit was not taken no questions asked.
We went up the following weekend and spoke with the dealer Tom who was exceptional from start to finish with how he deleted with us. Talked us through our options and gave us a good price on part ex for our old car. There was a couple of little snagging issues I wasn't happy with and within 3 days these were sorted. I now have collected the car and am well happy with it and the whole experience. Highly recommended

Amazing experience and ultra friendly.
Helpful all the way through the purchase. Even so on holiday overseas at the time of enquiry, kept in touch and answered all enquiries promptly. Sent videos of the vehicle until the vehicle could be physically viewed. Top customer focus and highly recommended....Even ended up purchasing a second vehicle which went just as smooth👍🏻
