I did give 5 stars when I bought the car but I was promised a load cover for car and 5 months later still waiting getting told lies and getting fob all the time

Great service buying my first car
Purchased an Audi A1 as my first car, had a brilliant experience and everything was set up perfectly for me. The service was great and I would highly recommend.
PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS PLACE
I had to give 1 star as I couldn’t give zero, absolutely great when buying the car, then 3 weeks after purchase, turned a corner and the wheel came off.
Had to be rescued and taken to a local garage as bolts has sheared off. Didn’t answer emails or phone call. So a day later I got the garage to do the work as I’m disabled and need a car. £500 lighter for the work. While on the ramps they found another dangerously unsafe job that would need doing another £350 job. This is on top of a couple of daft jobs one of which a Garda light not working would also fail a mot.
Eventually got through to the sellers and explained what had happened only to be told “not our fault mate”. I said it is your fault, you sold a dangerously unroadworthy vehicle, that is not for for purpose and I want it sorting. They just laughed at me. I said I had reported them to trading standards, I never got a chance to say but I haven’t given your name, I thought I would give them a chance to put right first. Then the taunting and laughing carried on, even shouting to blokes in the background to hear this, then just hanging up on me. 5 mins later they rang me with a bit more abuse cause I had reported them.
Well I have given trading standards your business name now, and your garages name who did the so called mot and work.
Hopefully nobody else will have to go through this, and possibly get hurt or hurt somebody else.
I would rather put my privates in a bear trap than have to use this place again.
This review is for the Teesside Dealership in Billingham. All part of the same same company though I have been told.

I’d avoid these guys as they hang you out to dry … read all reviews
I have taken my original review down and re-revised it due to recent events happening which have shown the dealerships true colours .
So firstly when I bought my car the process was great , everything happened perfectly and I was happy with the service I received .
24 hours into having my vehicle I realised the drivers door wouldn’t lock , I contacted driven and in short they fixed it , which was great.
However as time passes it became clear that the car didn’t have a full and proper service history and some vital items where way overdue , I took this on the chin and it’s cost me around £2400 to get the car where it needs to be (the car is a C7 RS6 Btw) . So straight away there’s a large cost I’ve paid and accepted .
Then month by month this vehicle has been an absolute nightmare, with engine mounts breaking , suspension failing and now recently another suspension issue which in excess has cost £4200 with another fix totalling £1300 with also another predicted cost of a wiring problem being in the thousands.
I contacted the finance company about this with the aim on rejecting the vehicle and in short driven absolutely hung me out to dry , didn’t contact me to ask me or assist me in anyway and blatantly gave a statement to the finance company washing their hands with me.
Their argument is that I never contacted them to tell them about the other issues but my argument is that I had warranty so why would I? They would just tell me to go to the warranty company anyway. I did however tell them I was having issues on a WhatsApp conversation so they was actually aware something was wrong . I have ALL proof of everything that has broken btw.
Their other argument is that I told them I absolutely loved the vehicle, this isn’t wrong BUT this was before it kept breaking and breaking and was in the garage 50% of the time I’ve owned it so the novelty quickly wore thin.
I am now sat here with a vehicle with a predicted fix cost of about another 3 grand , driven haven’t offered to help me out in any way in the slightest so I’m getting my own solicitor involved and I’ve written to the financial ombudsman .
I personally wouldn’t buy a car from these as it seems apparent they don’t fully check their vehicles before they are sold , advertise them as having full service history when they don’t and they have missed VITAL servicing items on such a high powered vehicle. You just have to look at the other reviews to see there’s some shadiness about them.
They don’t care about their customers after the sale so my advice would be to avoid them.
AVOID LIKE THE PLAUGE
AVOID LIKE THE PLAUGE
Where do I start this dodgy, lying dealership sold me a 2014 Astra VXR (SV64 XTT), the car was illegally on the road and had a dodgy mot put on it, I had no end of issues with the car, and such poor service from the place. I paid a £300 deposit to secure the car, the car was delivered at 2am a few days later (delivery was part of the deal) this was only because when I arrived to view the car was advertised with full service history which it did not have. I was told all day the car was on its way for it to arrive at 2am with an engine light on and a flat front tyre. The driver delivering the car told me an engine light came on at Scotch Corner and the wheels needed alignment, he explained that if we contact the dealer in the morning he would sort the issues. My partner took the car to get a new tyre which they paid for, still had issues with the tyre and had to take it back again which turned out to be the valve. A few days into ownership the car started to misfire and get worse, the steering would shake at 50mph it was so dangerous and it felt like wheels were coming off. I booked in with a garage for an independent inspection, when I went to pick the car up he told me all of the wheels were buckled/bent which was causing the shaking, the ‘cat’ had also been removed from the exhaust which is completely illegal and it should not have passed any mot, I will be reporting this to trading standards as the dealer mot’d the car before I collected it. I was only told it had an after market exhaust, they lie about everything. Zohaib Gilani who sold me the car was happy to take the money, I have asked for my deposit back as it was only fair, the car went back to them (I rejected the vehicle with my finance company within 14 days) my deposit should be refunded, there was no contract defining I would not get this back or any terms/conditions. The car was picked up by one of their drivers however I was given no option to transport it back myself. I was never told about any charge for collecting the car and they told me I agreed to this when it was collected, this is another lie. I have messaged from the garage trying to lie their way out of this and said I agreed to a £300 collecting charge. They will not give me my deposit back now which I shall be taking further. Please see the list below of all the issues I had with the car they sold to me: 1. osf tyre flat on delivery. 2. Engine light appeared when it was being delivered to me. 3. Car ran lumpy when driving. 4. Rough and inconsistent idle. 5. Illegal decat 6. Dodgy/illegal mot. 7. Oxygen sensor fault. 8. Steering rattling/shaking at 50mph+. 9. Grinding/rattling sound comparing from under the car at 2500rpm. 10. Low key fob battery. 11. Advertised with rear parking sensors, heated seats and full service but didn’t have any, falsely advertised. 12. Aircon didn’t work, had a huge Aircon leak an faulty condenser. 13. The car had tiny bits of cannabis still in the glovebox I assume from the previous owner which they never cleaned out properly. 14. Reg plate bulb out. 15. Side lights didn’t work. Another mot failure. 16. Driveshafts were also on their way out. Long story short if you have money and time to waste this dealership is for you. They sell illegally MOT’d cars, avoid at all costs. Like I said I will be reporting them to trading standards and making my review public. To clarify this company is called Drive Motor Company situated in Glasgow. If I could give the review no starts I would.

buying a car
I recently purchased a car from Driven motor company, I live in North Wales and they delivered the car from Glasgow to my door. Polite nice people and the car is better than I could ever have hoped for good value good car, will buy from them again and would give the best recommendation I possibly can.
Terrible Buying Experience.
I tried my luck at asking for a few quid knocked off the price of my car and the response was simply "nah" and I was told "if I don't sell the car to you I'll sell it to someone else next week." The rejection didn't bother me but the other comment - although probably true - didn't make me feel like a very valued customer. I was told it would be ready to drive away after a test drive but I found tears in the driver's seat and a couple of other cosmetic issues. Was I expected to pay £21,000 for ripped seats? The issues were fixed but really for the money I was spending these things should have been fixed prior. The advert for the car was misleading, it said the car had a 50L fuel tank, its 66L, it said the annual tax was £30 per year, it's £130, it was advertised with 2 keys, it only has 1 (unless we include the key which fob and blade don't match the car I bought but was still given despite me telling them its the wrong key) and nobody mentioned the £100 admin fee. Adding the unexpected road tax to the selling fee I was £200 out of pocket before I drove the car off the forecourt. They did begrudgingly throw in a tank of fuel and give me a fair PX on my old car, hence the 1 star.
After sale service was also terrible too. The engine management light came on within a week of owning the car. I took it to my brother who has over 20 years experience as a mechanic. He plugged his diagnostic kit in and found 3 faults (a battery issue, a NOx sensor issue and torque calculation malfunction.) These were new faults which needed repairing. I took it back to Driven Motor Group and was told that the battery was fine (even though the auto stop/start wasn't working). They said the torque calculation malfunction was due to the sensor losing communication with the ECU when the battery was disconnected (even though the battery hadn't been disconnected) and they just cleared the code. They said if the light comes back on then bring it back because that'll definitely be a problem. So why isn't it a problem when it came on this time? They put some Adblue in and told me that it cleared the NOx issue. This would not have cleared that code so they've just wiped that one too. They told me the stop/start was working again now they'd added some Adblue, it isn't. Switching off the engine management light doesn't fix the problems. They have fixed nothing. I gave permission for a member of staff to take it home for an extended test drive. When it came back there were short white hairs and mud on the passenger seat as if a dog had been in it, it smelled as if a dog had been in it and as if it had been smoked in. There was a cigarette dump on the floor, it was disgusting. They did give it a 'service wash' which appeared to be a rinse with a pressure washer.
I will encourage nobody to use Driven Motor Group. And before this review is replied to with a comment like "your review could have a detrimental effect on the business and the livelihoods of its staff" as other reviews have been replied to, don't. Dont buy a car from this garage
I contacted this garage, which is based in Stockton on Tees. I spoke to the manager, Gavin, who informed my wife and myself that the Jaguar F Pace we were interested in was a lovely car in very good condition. We agreed that the garage would put an MOT and service on the car and we would see them on the Saturday lunch time.
My wife and my self took the train from Somerset to Stockton to view the car with a view to buying and driving home this beautiful car. We got there and were ushered to the car which was a mess, it hadn't been cleaned, inside or out, there were marks, stone chips, scratches on it, the boot when opened smelt of spilt milk, the screen had a large chip in it which aparently wasnt an MOT failure?? We complained about the above and finally got to see the manager, Gavin. He was happy to giveback our deposit but was very rude, obnoxious stating that this 4 year old car costing 32k pounds, was in very good condition and acceptable for a 4 year old car. We believe that as we had put a deposit on the car and travelled all that way we would accept any old rubbish he was prepared to show us. He got that wrong, at a cost of another 400 pounds we got the train home again, total travel time of 14 hours. In Summary this particular driven group garage is manage by character who is not customer focused, is rude and does not particularly care about what he is selling. My advice, if you are looking for a high value car to buy, do not go to this garage to buy it.
