This pillow is horrific !!

This pillow is horrific !!! The reviews are fair on their site. I tried to return… but nope ! They lied about that too on their website. Your head will sink to the bottom and you’ll think, how was this pillow $120?

Dreamvelvet is a nightmare

I purchased this pillow because it looked like it had good support, but when it arrived, my head sunk right down to the bottom of the pillow and woke up several days with a migraine. To make matters worse, the return address is in China and to make matters worse, they will not give me a refund unless I return it to China. I can imagine it will cost more than the value of the pillow to return it. Run from this company.

Lies about a "Risk-free trial"

So, they definitely sent the pillows that we ordered, with a "30 night, risk-free trial" period. They didn't meet our needs, and come to find out, their policy excludes anything not at full price, which is EVERYTHING. In other words, they lied about returns. It's impossible to do a return. Stay away, please.

I got sucked in

I got sucked in. Says US company but again it’s China. Wanted to return on 30 day money back guarantee but they won’t honor. Never even opened the package. Want to give me 20% off. I’m done with these Chinese scams. Wish there was some place to enforce what these scammers pop up.

More like a nightmare

They claim to be an American company but all communication comes from China with Chinese characters in the emailed replies. I ordered 2 down pillows on December 11, 2023. I was told they would ship within 1-3 business days. More than a week went by before shipping. No tracking was available for over a week after shipping despite them supplying a USPS tracking number. Nearly 3 weeks have passed with no delivery. The description indicated the down was sourced from Hungary however an email reply from customer service stated it was Canadian-sourced. Then they backtracked when I called them out on that. They also admitted the pillows are manufactured in and shipped from China, which was NOT noted on the site. They have stopped responding to my emails and now looking at their website more carefully (as I should have before spending $299 on sale) there are A LOT OF RED FLAGS🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩.

1. Incomplete sections in their About US page, which also just has the suggested details to include from what I figure is left over from a website builder.

2. Payment options include use of multiple credit cards per order.

3. The Denver address listed on their site is for Postnet, not Dreamvelvets Pillows. I'm still trying to figure out how Postnet is connected to them, but it's very sketchy.

4. Site states several different and opposing terms on refund policy. A. 30 Night Money Guarantee for Exchange. B. NO refunds on sale items (you have to search policy carefully and read the ridiculous terms to know this). C. 30 Night Risk Free Trial.

5. All 97 reviews on the Plush Paradise Goose Down Pillows I ordered are 5 stars...no 4, no 3, no 2 and no 1. Many of the reviews sound very similar in grammar, syntaxes, enthusiasm, wording and details about their love of the pillow. One even sounds just like the description given by the "CEO named Willian (yes Willian with an 'N', but no last name) and how he decided to start hos company after reminiscing about his grandparents pillows.

There is another pillow they sell for $109 on sale and $179 regularly priced called Heavenly Dreams with 348 reviews and you guessed it...they're ALL 5 STARS.

Luxeloft Pillow $109/$179 - 543 reviews...guess what...ALL 5 STARS.

Snowfall Plush $129/189 also all 5 stars - 88 of them.

$249 on sale/$309 regularly priced Royal Comfort - same - 168 reviews and none less than 5 stars.

These are just the pillows. You will find the same red flags for duvets, comforters and pillowcases.

I can't speak to the quality yet, if ever. I can find no information or reviews elsewhere for them. I'm disappointed that I had nothing to give someone for Christmas as I spent what amounts to a small fortune for me and couldn't afford to purchase anything in place of the pillows. If they ever arrive and are in fact giftable I have to spend another good chunk of change to ship it to the gift recipient because he was only in town for Christmas. Top it off with disappointment in myself for not being more careful and purchasing from a reputable company.

There is definitely something fishy going on with this company and I don't have any expectations anymore of receiving the pillows or seeing my money refunded without opening a case with my credit card company.
