I placed my order as encouraged by the prices and statement that item will be processed in 24 hours. So far I've waited 7 days no items, or communication from the company, or any reassurance that the money I've paid has translated into supplying the goods, no email to acknowledge the business contract we've entered into???
Phone call to company today, answered 1st time, helpful staff, could locate my order called me back in 1p mins to inform me that my order was being dispatched that same day and will be with me the following Monday... S far they appear to be the worst/ dearest company as for theb£50 I've spent I've nothing to show for it doeasny get more expensive than that.
I'll update this review if/when the goods arrive....

Very impressed. Tried this company after been let down by one of their competitors. Items arrived as expected and will use again.

i really dont know what to make of this company they offer quality products at a great price, however i placed 1 order with about 13 items expecting 24 hr dispatch. i did get most of the items aprox 1 week later after ringing to find out where they were, The delivery driver said any missing items usually follow the next day, Another two weeks and many calls later i did actually get the missing items. To sum up great prices on quality products. polite customer service when they eventually answer, please get your service times and communication sorted, you will then become a great company worth 5 stars

Painfully slow, took two weeks to send parts and no communication, even when i phoned and chased i was told would be sent one day, then received an auto update to say it was sent three days after being told the original date

Placed 2 orders. No information about whether anything is in-stock or not on website, no information on delivery until one day it just arrives. Had one severely damaged item, and have had no response from emails or web feedback form - I am not expecting any replacement or refund. I will not use them again.

I sent for just 7 items for an urgent repair to 170mm industrial guttering. It was a union to join the repair, 4 holding clips and 2 stop ends. Not a difficult order - but the union had one of its rubber sealing gasket missing (rendering it useless) a stop end with a piece snapped off. What is disgusting and highly unprofessional is the fact the packing box was void of any missing parts i.e. the snapped plastic piece or the missing rubber seal - and the person who packed them must have been fully aware. If you are a roofer or tradesman you know what a missing part can mean. Regardless of the small cost involved, I could not do the repair. This was frustrating and embarrassing. To make matters worse I used them because my local builders merchant only stocks domestic sizes and I would have to order. I wish I had now! The drainage shop took the best part of a week before even posting. If you depend on your reputation it is my opinion you stick with your local supplier. Anyone can design a flashy website like the drainage shop. But business depends on, most of all, reliability speed and a bit of honesty goes a long way. It was my experience that this company fell short in all three and I have yet to receive a reply to my two complaints. My advice don't go near them if you are doing anything for an important job either big or small. Stick with a reliable local merchant!

Pathetic,if you have time to waste get your products from here, 3 days just to despatch, emailed to cancel, just ignored, now waiting for delivery, no idea when it's getting here, terrible communication, better off spending that bit more money and receiving the customer service you deserve.

Listen everyone, this shop offers the same quality products as all other websites - accept for half the price. The disadvange, no support and they do take a long time to deliver, most probably because they are ordering stuff in for you, so be patient, plan your project in advance and wait - maybe 2-3 weeks. If you want quality drainage for cheap, you have to give and take a little. THanks guys, highly recommend.

I made an online order from this company on the 6/12/2020. I was then contacted by the branch manager on the 8/12/2020 to inform me that one of the items that I had ordered was not in stock and would not be available until mid January because of covid. This is understandable, so I asked the manager if he could send me an alternative cheaper item in its place and refund me the difference. I received the order the following week but did not receive the difference in price. I contacted the manager again in the 30/12/2020 to issue the refund and was assured the accounts department would give me the refund. I still haven’t received my money back from this company. The items received were of good quality but unfortunately they have stole money from me which is unacceptable, hence the 1 star review.

It is a shame that they have to receive 1 star. Described as despatch in 24 hours. After 5 working days I tried to contact them and after 1 hour of continual calling I gave up and emailed. After 7 working days I repeated. After 10 the same story so I raised a dispute with Paypal.
I finally sent an email threatening to speak to the police as I was convinced that they did not exist as a company and then spent another 2 hours continually calling to finally receive a response.
They said they had been busy and they would despatch soon!! I demanded a refund and received this 5 days later.
They are cheap! As long as you don't need it in a hurry or need to communicate with them then maybe its worth running the gauntlet. But I would avoid at all costs!

I have to say that, despite the recent negative reviews for this company, the item that I ordered (a round cast iron gulley grate) arrived on time and was a perfect replacement for the old one. This company was also the only one which I could find which offered the product in half inch increments, which was what I needed. I received very prompt emails post ordering regarding the item itself as well as dispatch information. So, sorry, but no complaints!

I placed the order at 10pm on Tuesday received order confirmation within 10 minutes the order arrived 10am Friday with emails notifying me on the order progress. The items worked perfect and were packed well I can not fault the service or the products

Received the ordered items today ? I have changed my review to terrible at communications !

I ordered through the website having not read any reviews, then read the reviews and got worried. However, the items were dispatched within the stated time frame and arrived the day after despatch. All items arrived undamaged and with loose fittings sent together in a box to avoid losses. I can’t speak for others but I have no complaints.

i hade place a order 3rd week October 2020 they send the wrong 4 items a had try to contact them by phone for two days and couldn't get trough no one there to take your calls send email and had no reply, so look elsewhere to buy i don't recommend this shop, think twice before your order from this website

I was a little concerned about buying from this supplier due to the number of negative reviews - I did not need to worry, my order was delivered on time, well packaged and the drainage channels are good quality -- and the price was very good.
I will be using them again !!

I made an error on an order and tried for days to contact the Drainage Shop (also known as Gas and Water Pipelines). No responce to emails and the two phone numbers on their website don't pick up. I have now had to order the correct part from another distributer. Look elsewhere and save yourself money and time!

ORIGINAL REVIEW: Only part of my order has arrived, no response to emails/contact form and no answer by telephone.

UPDATE: Remaining item arrived this morning. I have changed my score from a 1 to a 3. Honestly wouldn't have minded the delay if this was communicated.
