Ignore delivery slots

I ordered several items dispatched via DPD, with all of these orders I paid for their premium saturday delivery service as I work during normal weekday hours. DPD refused to accept this apparently and attempted delivery during the week. They also refused to change to saturdays without paying for an additional upgrade - one seller was able to either pay this or avoid this on their end and give updated information to DPD. The other was not, and the order had to be cancelled. DPD also failed to give any tracking information to myself or deliver any updates other than their automated text messages, their website live chat is actually just their tracking page with no chat at all and their phone number does not connect to a human at all - I was entirely unable to contact DPD about this issue.

Was told they had tried to deliver this morning could npt get in LIES the main building the doors are open went back to Amazon wjo said they would deliver later today i dont go out i am disabled i told them this so get a msg at 3-30 that the said parcel has now been delivered to the main post office DUH what part of i do go out fo you not understand .Now trying to get my monies back from Amazon as Meaco was the seller . DPD trained monkeys could do better .

Sad to write this as always praised…

Sad to write this as always praised dpd,driver turned up couldn't find my parcel asked me to look.... looks like parcels are just thrown in,Still couldn't find it amd left promising to call back ? On chat told that wont happen as time slots? So your incompetence becomes my problem and still no parcel

Bunch of unreliable W*****s

Ordered a garden shredder.
Paid for a Saturday delivery, as it’s the only day I don’t work, and heard nothing until 18:00 when the Lincoln depot sent me a text to say that due to an unforeseen problem, delivery wouldn’t happen.
I’m thinking of taking the seller to the Small Claoms Court to refund the additional cost of delivery, and my £350 day rate which I lost staying at home to receive the item on Sunday.

If I could give it a minus I would

If I could give it a minus I would. Paid for a delivery on a certain date not only did it not arrive on the day the DPD driver never made any attempt at delivery. Was sent an attempt has been made email. When I contacted DPD they confirmed the driver hadn't made an attempt to deliver and they would try to get it rectified . Utterly useless.

Update:Got an email saying my parcel is now at a collection point. No attempt at delivery made. If I wanted to collect my parcel I wouldn't of paid for delivery. Sod are a waste of time.

DPD incompetent

DPD driver didnt even attempt to deliver my parcel, sent a photo of a random house saying the attempted delivery. I even put a note on saying to leave the parcel in the porch as i was unlikely to be in. I contacted DPD to be told the delivery would be attempted the following day. No apologies for the complete lies from the delivery driver. The next day I was waiting to get notification of delivery, I took the day off work to ensure I was in for the delivery only to check the tracking to see my parcel was being returned to sender without any communication from DPD. I called and asked to know why and was given some crap excuse that the parcel was damaged and they dont deliver damaged goods.
Through the drivers incompetence I an not left without and having to contact the sender to gain a refund. I asked for an outcome of my complaint against the driver and was told I wasn't entitled to this.
I would also like to add this is the third delivery in recent weeks from DPD and 2 out of 3 deliveries have gone wrong through delivery driver error.

Company is a joke the recruitment…

Company is a joke the recruitment service is a shambles, I’ve attempted to make contact multiple times via number emails, local centres and third party associates within the process and had no correspondence what so ever, “ If you have any issues please correct us via our recruitment email” is what is stated yet I have made multiple emails and not a single bother to reply, had this exact same issue 6 months ago when I applied, they will make you fill out forms and do there recruitment tests tell you you’ve made it to the next step only to only ignore you when help is needed to finish an application, pure shambles of a company and waste of time. Need I say I did work with them a few years back no professionalism what so ever, parcels are thrown and damaged on a constant basis and nobody cares including managers who expect you to stay past your shift time unpaid to finish unloading belts only to swear and cuss you out when your leaving your shift, avoid at all costs I promise ultimately it’s not worth the headache, money, lack of respect & physical slave demand.

The worst experience I have ever had.

The worst experience I have ever had.

A parcel I had to receive last week, till this very moment we haven’t received it.

Each day they go to a wrong address. Even when we call immediately and request we could collect our parcels they said no, that the driver would come deliver it later the same day but guess what, we waited till 9pm and we had nothing.

The same thing happened day in day out. You call and they would tell you the same lies.

Customer service so so rude, they will hand up the phone. You can’t even talk to a manager. I’ve been in logistics for years in senior levels and I’ve never seen this kind of a mess! What a jungle.

After all the failed deliveries last week, they said they would deliver today unfailing!! 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️ and the matter instead got worst, they didn’t even send the parcel out. When I called , all they said was I will just have to wait for the next day. If there’s any star less than one, I will give it to them, I now understand why my drivers who were former employees of DPD always say “that place is horrible “

DPD - Doesn’t Provide Deliveries

It’s quite fortunate for dpd that I can at the minimum leave them a 1 star. I’d go as far to say it’s disrespectful to 1 star courier services. Expecting an AC unit during a prime time heatwave to go and find out the driver who will go named (Aditya) did not even bother to ring the door bell he proceeded to just take a photo of my home and say delivery attempted whilst I was home. Not only did he waste my time of being home to collect a significant package but also the fact that he tried saying he attempted to deliver. Absolute disgrace. Getting a success full delivery from them is proving to be as successful as taking a submarine to see the titanic.

Awful service

Awful service. Waited all day for the first attempt at a delivery to be told they’d missed me. So payed for a vip upgrade for a delivery next morning. Once again waited in only to watch them on the tracker skirt round my village and drive away. And say they’d missed me again there was no attempt to deliver. No offer of a refund and no way of taking to anyone. Unbelievable treatment of a customer. Absolutely disgusting

Totally useless and no customer support

Yet again I have had the "Sorry the driver missed you" message when no attempt was made to deliver. It turns out an attempt was made at a totally incorrect address that is not even in the same post code. This has happened multiple times. Yesterday I had another parcel left on my doorstep in plain sight despite requesting it be left in a safe place. This has happened every time I have requested it be left in a safe place so requesting this is futile. DPD offers no way to contact them to report these issues. They appear to have no accurate maps or any interest in improving their service. As long as they can convince the senders who pay them they are supplying a reliable service they can ignore the recipients who have no way to communicate any feedback other than use sites like this.

Poor service

The guy did not ring bell just took photo of outer building and left. DPD won’t come back. I recorded everything on my door cam. Appalling service and robotic response from customer services. I cancelled all my orders. Check what supplier is used when ordering. Don’t use DpD

APPALLING: DO NOT USE

APPALLING:
- Delivered to incorrect address
- Unhelpful
- implied did not have the tracking so I was even unable to go and fetch parcel
- Thus was a 'next day delivery' for a reason !
- Goods STILL not received
- Also out of pocket
- They clearly don't care at all
- Just ' go round & around ' subject
ZERO recommendation
There is NO excuse for this lack of delivery

DPD don't keep their promises & care even less.

I recently purchased a multitool from a reputable online company & it is amazing. Sadly they use DPD & pay for a next day delivery. On the first day's attempt to deliver my package they went to completely the wrong address & then blamed me for not being in. After a phone call & a promise to deliver it the next day, I downloaded their app & uploaded details of how to find us. Bear in mind I live on the outskirts of the UK's 4th largest city & not the dark side of the moon. The next day they were late & once again tried to deliver it to the wrong address. More phone calls by me & they once again promised to deliver it the following day. I tracked their driver & suddenly one stop before me, their tracking app stopped for the rest of the day. I again phoned them up & they promised to contact the driver & insist he returned to me to deliver it. They also promised that I would receive a return call from their delivery office to confirm the driver's return. Neither things happened. I called back just before their phone lines closed for the day & they promised to give me a priority delivery the next day & waive their almost £10 fee. I had no intentions of paying it anyway. On the 4th day success. I did asked their driver what had happened & he blamed the DPD satnav. Surely he could have read the street sign to see he had on 3 occasions tried to delivery my package to the wrong address & he insisted he had only got it wrong once. He couldn't care less.
DPD are a major company & yet when I asked to speak to a manager, they said that their managers didn't know what was happening & it would be a waste of my & their time for me to speak to them.

DPD poor service

We had an that order was delivered to the wrong address with a photo clearly showing this. The delivery house was 16 and the order was left at 8, this to me is not a neighbour delivery but the neighbourhood delivery. The package was not given to this neighbour but left at their front door. We waited 24h and the gift was not received.
We contacted MOONPIG through there chat bot and eventually got through to an adviser. Whilst the item was reordered, I felt let down by DPD.

Advice for you.

We have new order and DPD say they will take a photo of the item inside the house of the recipient. For your peace of mind please look at the order on DPD and provide a safe place and or neighbour so you gift will be received.
