LIL is not only a shop. It is a way of life, it is a way of thinking the world and of considering your buying habits. The Ladies in charge are nice, polite and always available for a quick chat.

I would like to buy more stuff from Lil as the quality of the food they sell is always at the top and you can really feel the difference between the average plastic wrapped food from a supermarket and their lovely sustainable packed food.

Love this company. The heavenly little individual guest soaps are a wonderful & environmentally-friendly way of providing guests to The Green Lodge Aviemore with the individual toiletries that they expect, with zero plastic - it's such a great solution.

My fav product is the solid shampoo. Suffered my entire life with itchy scalp, then found the Itchy scalp bar which has literally changed my life. My hair feels clean and my scalp is so much better. I always think I'm doing my best; recycling,walking instead of using the car etc etc - a little at a time to save our lovely planet! But with the help of Lil, I really feel like I'm part of something bigger that's ACTUALLY making a difference. You don't have to be an eco warrior, just do you L'il thing and it all helps. Thanks for making it easier for us all L'il!

The ladies at Lil are obviously very passionate about what they do! I am really getting into shopping with them and now have some firm favourites! I find the website easy to use and love the re-usable cloth bag deposit scheme. The fact that I can say that I do some of my shopping plastic free, makes me feel that I am at least taking some small steps to help the planet. Because if we ALL do lil things...

LIL have been a fab addition to the East Lothian eco scene. I love getting my refills and my cupboard is packed with glass jars of goodies! Delivery and collection is super quick and communication on orders is grand. I was pretty eco anyway but it's been lovely spreading the LIL word in our village and getting folk to try a different way of buying supplies.

Fantastic products, great service

I have been buying from Lil for quite some time. Sarah and Lou make it so easy to be more eco conscious in the way you shop and have helped me consider many aspects of my life and how to become more 'green'. They already have a wide range of stock which is constantly growing. They carefully select what to stock ie natural, plastic free, local. They have many locations from which you can collect your shopping and you can even combine with a fruit/veg shop. Everything is packaged in plastic free or re-used bags/containers - so satisfying filling up your own jars from all their lovely fabric bags, then returning them to be used again! Keep up the great work!

Always great friendly service and Lou and Sarah are always happy to answer questions. Lil has helped my family really reduce our waste, particularly plastic waste. I appreciate having a local service that is zero waste. During Covid it has also been helpful to have ‘contact free’ shopping. I would definitely recommend Lil.

So happy to be using Lil as a plastic-free way to top up my pantry, bathroom, household items and more. Sarah and Louise are absolutely lovely, the range of products available is great, the website is easy to use, and having Lil delivered along with my fruit and veg box from Phantassie Organics is so convenient. Also feels great to support a local organisation that is giving so much back to the community. Thanks Sarah and Lou for all that you do!

I've had a very positive experience with Lil over the last 6 months since I began to receive regular deliveries from them.
They've given a very personal service and have been quickly responsive to issues.
The service they provide has meant that I haven’t had to visit a supermarket for 6 months. On a recent visit to a supermarket while on holiday I realised how much plastic is involved in a normal shop and I was disgusted. I feel very happy to receive my orders in brown paper bags which can be recycled.
They even organised an organic veg and fruit box delivery for me.
I feel very cared for by this company.

The ladies at LIL are genuinely lovely and go out of there way to make you smile. I have had a few issues with delivery delays over my time using them, but the customer service is always outstanding, with little gifts or discount codes to make up for the inconvenience. Really delighted to have this service available!

Lil offers great ethical products and they make it SO easy for you to do your bit for the planet and feel good. I love ordering the loose dried fruit and mixing my own blend of Meusli

I love ordering from Lil and then receiving thoughtfully packaged and excellent quality goods. I enjoy my groceries more when I know they are more sustainable.
