Joining MEFA is so much more about improving your English. It's learning to know what do you want in your life and get the help you need to achieve it, English being a part of it. You don't need to go and live in an English speaking country to learn to speak like a native : Julian will help you realize that and he knows exactly what he is talking about as he's an expert of language learning. Do trust him and you won't be disappointed. One of the best investments I made so far and I totally recommend it!

I would compare this course to the tripod holding a camera to get the best picture. You need the leg of motivation (the big WHY that allows you to start this adventure), the leg of habit (it's what will keep you going despite what happens) and the leg of the right method, like the compass that will help you not to get lost on the way and head towards your destination. Julian's personalised accompaniment seemed to me to be key to making the most of the course at the highest level.
I think now that I've reached a level of confidence that let me face any situation that pushes me out of my comfort zone and look at it as a fluency-building opportunity. I won't miss anymore the chance!!!

Mefa is more than just an English course. It's a powerful life lessons' course. It's great.
Week 11was my favourite!

MEFA - one of the best English learning courses around, proved itself as essential even for someone like me who has lived in the English-speaking country for many years. Some important rules/principles Julian taught us about English learning can actually be applied to many other learnings in our lives. To me, that's the best thing about MEFA. Throughout the course, I kept passing on those vital rules to my teenage daughter for her schooling. I wish there was a course like MEFA when I first started learning English. Thank you, Julian, for the wonderful and refreshing MEFA learning experience. All the best wishes!

Taking MEFA course is a life-changing experience, I couldn't ask for more. After this course, I was able to shift my fixed mindset to growth mindset and embed many good habits such as writing journals, exercising, and practicing English daily. Julian is such an amazing teacher and his method will help you change your English drastically but only if you really put in your effort to do the work. I guarantee you will only get better following his method. This course is the best investment I've ever made and it's worth every penny, so don't hesitate if you truly want to change your way of thinking and your English. Good luck!

I wish I found MEFA course earlier. I stuck at the upper intermediate level and couldn’t make any progress with my English for several years. Now I know why learning language in traditional way or listening to English more works only to some extend and is not going to make you a fluent speaker. Moreover I know what to do to reach that native-like level, and what would be the most useful in my situation. I would recommend this course for people who are determined to become great English speakers. Be prepared for hard work.

Mefa course is definitely not an easy course but it can really change your way of speaking English and think as an English speaker. Unlike many English learning materials on the market which offer you things you are not sure whether native English speakers use them or not, Julian provides you the precise English chunks and explains how to combine these chunks as English speakers rather than memorizing words and phrases and screwing up your brain.
As a patient and fun teacher, and also a doctor who has been studying Psycholinguistics for years, Julian's course is for real! As long as you are willing to put much effort in the course and change all your bad habits of learning English, I believe Julian's course won't let you down!

He not only teaches you English, he teaches you how to incorporate it into your life and enjoy it at the same time. I prefer a longer course but this one met my goals.

I sincerely believe that Julian's MEFA is the class everyone should have! After these 12 weeks of MEFA, I can say that I am not lost in English study. I used to spend a lot of time watching videos, reading lots of articles, but still had no idea how relevant it was to my real life. Julian's approach resolves my issue and right now, as I study English, I feel positive and enjoyable. Also, MEFA not only provided useful methods but also inspiring mindset. I feel grateful meeting Julian and his MEFA, and I believe I will join his EES very soon.

This course has provided me with a method for more than just learning English. Julian has pointed out for me a more efficient and effective way of learning anything. And if you are creative, just take the principle and tweak it a little, you will have a method to do anything better in life.
It is a pity that the EES is not a good fit for me so I won't be continuing with it. But I can assure you that the MEFA program will be totally worth your time and money, giving that you are willing to work to improve your spoken English.

I tried to improve my English by reading books, watching Netflix, and chatting with tutors and friends. But none of them really worked out. Julian taught me how to learn English. And it worked. After I finished MEFA, I started my job hunting in Canada and got two offers even in the COVID situation.

He is strict. He may criticize you. But everything he tells you has the point and it helps you to achieve your goal. If you need to make significant improvements in your English, you should join MEFA and take it seriously.

Well organized course that elevates your English and conversation skills in general. Julian is not just a teacher who teaches English, he is interesting and researcher who can become your coach.
The idea of course is to bring English into a daily routine. For me it is a method of using (doing) English instead just learning.
With Julian you will be explored not only to language, but to many interesting ideas, people, books, studies , movies and other.
You have to work hard and from Julian you will get great tips how track you’re progress))

MEFA is an English course that you are looking for when you want to further up your English conversation skill. It is way more useful than any other English courses that I have taken before. Not only do I benefit a lot from the course itself but also the weekly online group coaching call on zoom. You can ask any question regarding English learning skills during the call. It is hard work because you have to learn a new way of learning, but it will pay off itself at the end of the course. You will no longer see an embarrassing conversation as a failure, you will see it as a chance to elevate your English. Julian is not a teacher who just teaches you English, he is a coach who guides you accordingly to learn a language.

I highly recommend Julian's Courses! Especially for those who don't have too much time every day and need to bring english into a daily routine. For me, the most great thing about the lessons is the idea of using english instead of fighting against each grammar rule. During these 12 weeks I have built new habits and at the same time I realised the way in which I had been studying (and making some mistakes). And probably I will keep making mistakes but my goal is the process. Thank you very much, Julian!

I loved Doing English. Lessons were very interesting and I think is a truly good effort to shift English teaching paradigm.

I do agree that doing and studiying (or vice versa) is the best way of learning.

Even though I missed a bit something of the traditional way: exercises.
