When I inquired about this item by phone. I asked if it was manufactured in China and was told it was manufactured USA. After I received the package it indicated that it was manufactured in CHINA. HAVE NOT TAKEN OUT OF BOX. NOT HAPPY ABOUT MISREPRESENTATION OF WHERE IT WAS MADE..

This company has been a disaster to deal with. When I bought the new chlorine generator, they were quick about processing the order. When something goes wrong however, it’s a completely different story. My chlorine generator went bad after six months and they promised a replacement. Two months, multiple emails and phone calls and no replacement. The old generator has also completely disintegrated at this point with no ability to generate chlorine. The pool is starting to form algae and yet all I get from them is crickets. Never again.

This was our 4th purchase from Discount Salt Pools and we have also recommended several people that have purchased from you. We believe in your product and find you produce a quality product at a fair price. With our last purchase, we had problems with the controller. Your service department was fantastic with the free repair and turnaround time. It was a great experience. We will always recommend Discount Salt Pools!

Item was just what was advertised worked perfectly

I recently bought a replacement salt cell that was supposed to be compatible with the Pentair IntelliChlor system from Discount Salt Pool. Well it wasn't. Being that we are in the middle of summer, it took my pool company 3 weeks to get to my house to replace the unit, so I didn't find out until 3 weeks in. Needless to say, I had to return the item but unfortunately their hold times are so long I had to abandon the call multiple times. Today I got through and come to find out that I'm past the 30 day return policy they have so they wouldn't take the $800 unit back. You can't even do a return online. Well, I will never buy from this company again and this just reinforces why I should only buy products from Amazon who will always take back their products.

My cell died prematurely and they offered to sale me a new cell at a discount but charged my card and never shipped it. And wont respond to email or chat.

EDIT: now I am having to have Amazon pay challenge the charge even though they said I never made the purchase.
Amazon pay said they won’t return their inquiries
