The ladder I purchased arrived on a Sunday between two and three days earlier than expected. The ladder is easy to use but a bit heavier than expected. However it is a sturdy bit of kit, is extremely small when folded.
Very pleased with it.

I get cancelling a sale, but not ever then communicating it, is a major problem, because, I'm waiting for something that is never going to come. There are no contact details either, so getting a refund is far too challenging. Good deals aren't just about cheap prices

Appalling. I was completely unable to contact this awful company and they only replied when I raised the issue further. Even then I was forced to cancel my entire order.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER.
I found the communication from Direct On Sale to be poor because I wasn't notified when my items were put on back order. It wasn't until I questioned why the order hadn't been processed that I was told about the back order. I'm happy now it has been fulfilled.
I have sent 2 emails when its going to be sent. No confirmation email...no communication....no purchase sent.
Fantastic service, clear communication, and our couch looks brand new again.

This request for review was difficult to determine in that I have made two separate purchases from this vendor. The first was poor quality and the second has been something of a saga. On the 21st June I purchased two window awnings and this order is still unfulfilled (according to the website). Not only that but this organisation has not responded to any of my emails or online requests for information aout the status of the order. I tried to call them on the published telephone number and received (twice) a recorded message to the effect that the number was no longer in use. I have reported this up the line and will take it further if I have to.
UPDATE: As you can see I received a reply from Direct on Sale. So this response relates to their reply and the lack of notification associated with this. I have been informed by one of DOS customer service people that I have been refunded the amount paid for the awnings. Not correct, the refund went to Afterpay who have not replied to any of my questions. Certainly have not refunded the amount.
I have since purchased and received two of these awnings from another supplier and yesterday I mysteriously received two more (no warning or notifications) on the doorstep. Given that there is no reference to where they came from, I am still not sure whether someone has made a mistake from the new supplier or whether these are the originals.
SO NO MR DIRECT ON SALE THIS IS NOT RESOLVED
