Do not buy from this company. They misrepresent their location as being in Dublin, even listening a fake address and phone number. All of their orders dispatch from the United States, meaning you will have to pay customs charges and many electrical items won't be suited for use in Ireland.
If an online retailer claims a location that’s false or misleading, that can breach consumer-protection law because a trader’s identity and geographical address are material information for a consumer decision.
What they are doing is illegal in Ireland for several reasons:
Providing false information about matters like the trader’s identity, address, or where they’re established can be a misleading commercial practice under Irish consumer law (which implements the EU unfair practices rules).
EU consumer contract rules require traders to provide key pre-contract info (commonly including the geographical address where the trader is established). If they give a fake address or pretend to be established somewhere they aren’t, that’s likely non-compliance and often overlaps with misleading practice.
Do yourself a favour and buy somewhere else.

You did what you said you would do when you said that you would do it.
Ordering etc was ok , maybe updating on tracking order and being more specific on delivery date notification could be better .
They respond very quickly and correct errors.
Santa bought 2 XGO3 Xplora watches from my sons. 1 green and 1 orange. Trying to be organised and spreading out the expense they were purchased at the start of Nov. On opening the watches, we had issues trying to get the watch setup. Got in touch with the network/ with Xplora/ with Direct Nine. Direct nine (in fairness) has quite a speedy return on their customer emails. However I was told that it wasn’t their fault that I would have to get in touch with XYZ. However on further investigation being through multiple SIM cards, all of which worked in my phone, Xplora got back to tell me that the company sold me items that could not be used in Ireland. They could only be used in North America. After getting back to Direct Nine to ask “what have you to say about this?” They just responded with their typical “because you are out of the 14days return policy we can’t offer you a refund or a replacement.
No one has offered their explanation as to why they are selling items that cannot be used in Ireland.
I completely understand the refund policy but when it is an issue with the product not even being useful within the country it was sold within - surely some responsibility needs to come from the company side. I appreciate the timeline given it was Christmas etc. And it is something I will learn for the future but me and my children are being punished for a FAULTY product!! Bearing in mind I had to a lot of this investigating over a Christmas period but I did touch base several times since the 6th Jan 2026.
This company misrepresents itself by suggesting it is based in Ireland. It is NOT. It is US based. I ordered a water distiller which cost over 600 e. It took several weeks to arrive and with a transformer, if used, would have blown the fuses in the house. I had paid for an EU/UK transformer. This was not what I got. When I tried to return the goods, DirectNine would not cover the delivery costs despite stating they would. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE IF LIVING OUTSIDE US. DELAYS- INCOMPATIBILITIES and NO RETURNS

I ordered a soundbar early December, requested a delivery date on 14 Dec, and after numerous such requests, have been advised that the latest delivery is to be 'before 17January’ I did not realise the product was coming from the US and delivery tracking just gives despatch date. Appears the courier works by sea so the fact that you have to wait months for being able to return to get cost price recovery but not return costs proves how ridiculous is this service,
UPDATE: Directnine requested details of my order/tracking Ref which I provided. In response to numerous requests to try to trace my order I found that DPD Couriers had been engaged but needed my Post Code which had been omitted by Directnine. Now today over a month later from order and weeks since they promised delivery by 17 Jan ‘26 , they have advised of delivery by 22nd January 26.
Anyone care to guess when I get a new ‘delivery date’?

Ordered a watch for my daughter for Christmas in November from the Irish website. Little did I know it was coming from the US so it didn't arrive until January 5th.

As some may be aware , I have done two reviews on Direct Nine. The first was about the lack of " help and transparency " were gaming pc package was coming from and having to deal with fedex on my own. I was dreading the set up if I'm honest and didn't hold out much hope on it even working. But I was surprised. While the tower was reconditioned ( this was never mentioned when purchasing) everything else was new. It is working perfectly we did have to purchase 2 adapters as the plugs were USA so be aware of this. So far so good. I've given 4 starts because I was never told any part of pc was reconditioned.
Do not order electrical items. They are shipped from the US and not for purpose here..Ordered a rock tumbler as a Xmas present in November. Received tracking number after about a week and discovered it was being shipped from US despite the website having an IE domain. Enquired with customer service and was told to buy an adaptor which was ridiculous . Informed that I wanted to cancel the order and was told i couldn’t but to refuse delivery at the door and it would be returned. Delivery was made by a post and not by the stated DHL tracking number. Enquired about retuning item and was given an address. Paid €60 to return an item that is completely unusable here. Item has now been returned to me as return address have refused to pay import taxes . I’m now down €180 and left with a product I cannot use.

I have been refunded the original price of the item. Although this still leaves me €60 out of pocket for the postage paid to return the item.

I got my order on time and in prefer order
I would give zero stars if it was possible. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.
I ordered from this site because it supports to be Irish, with an Irish address and phone number. The phone number is operated by AI and hangs up EVERY time after AI tells you it's customer service reps are busy.
The items I ordered are Santa gifts for my children, ordered on the 26th of November and apparently still 'in transit'. I have asked, via email, on numerous occasions where exactly 'in transit' is given that they were apparently in Amsterdam 15 days ago and no answer to this question. An An Post number has been issued however An Post inform me they haven't received anything yet (which i trust) as the message coming in on that site says they're in transit and haven't been scanned.
Absolute joke & now short my children's main gift for Christmas. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Was able to get a specific watch I was looking for that was no longer being produced.
Placed my order early on the 25th of November, received purchase confirmation and was excited to get the product (32gb of DDR5 RAM). I didn't receive a shipping/tracking/dispatch email though so on the 27th I reached out and enquired about when I could expect the product to arrive.
I received an email response that evening saying thanks for the order, it had been both confirmed and was currently being processed and would be shipped within 3-4 days in which then I would receive shopping info. Brilliant I thought! I need the part by the 20th of December and they said it would arrive between 10-16 December so I was happy.
Then on the 28th, I received an email saying that they are sorry for the inconvenience but the product I ordered is out of stock (despite them taking payment over 3 days ago, and emailing me saying it's confirmed and processing, getting ready for shipment). They offered me a DDR4 RAM kit and 20% back as a replacement which won't do as it is far below what I need and what I paid for. To make things weirder, the DDR5 RAM I had purchased was still available on their website 48 hours after they'd told me it was sold out & the DDR4 RAM kit they offered me wasn't actually available on their website at all.
I then spent 3/4 days in a row emailing them without them replying (I also used their website chatbot, window open with message sent for 4 hours while it said they were online and agent would be with me shortly but never even got a first message) before eventually getting told I could have my refund and it would be processed shortly. This is all before yesterday when my refund has already been processing for a couple of days they email me saying the product is back in stock now if I would like it?! Unfortunately, at this stage, whichever option means I have less dealings with DirectNine in the future is the best option so I continued with my refund and bought my product elsewhere.
Long story short, I placed my order and they took my money on the 25th, they waited days to tell me the product was actually sold out, offered a half as good replacement before ignoring my emails for days and now on the 6th I finally have my money back. Waited until I had my refund secured before writing this review cause these seem like the shadiest company I've ever dealt with. Shop elsewhere at all costs.
AVOID.

Product was heavily delayed as it was shipped from the USA where you are lead to believe it was coming from within Ireland. Came with unusual cable which cannot be connected to computer without external adapter.

Good product and price.
Sufficient technical information in product details and information to allow me be satisfied that what I bought could best suit my needs
Order still ongoing, discovered that my purchase has been shipped from USA, despite the store info stating they ship within Ireland. I'm quite annoyed by the waiting time and this news which might imply customs... And therefore contacting customer service and a lot of delays and nuisance I really didn't need
Edit: customer service replied that due to item not available, they sourced it abroad, and they'll be taking care of import payments if needed.
Still, major delay inconvenience, I'd appreciate an email with the option to choose this path or to cancel my order
Edit - company has an amazing customer service, customs fees paid by myself first, were quickly reimbursed providing them receipt.
Product is very good as expected.
Editing my scoring based on resolution.
