I've virtually given up on trying to return a cover that is far too big and heavy for me to handle. I'm 75 and female. There was no warning about the size of the cover. I've not removed it from its ca... See more

Overpriced and poor quality
Good bits first: delivery was prompt and this "heavy duty" cover actually does fit my 1976 Rover P6 quite well.
There were a few minor niggles (QC misses, most likely) when the cover was delivered, which I detailed in an email to the company. Zero response from people who claim to answer correspondence within a working day.
In the following few weeks, despite preventative measures (large foam protectors) and careful handling, I've now got a very expensive net curtain and a wet car.
**UPDATE**
The cover had virtually disintegrated within two months of purchase. An email was sent with photos attached and, a couple of days later, I received an apology and a full refund.
The cover leaked so I sent in an email…
The cover leaked so I sent in an email explaining the problem, I was then asked to send photos showing the leak which I did and it was ignored, it has got a lot worse now so the cover is useless.
I have however since leaving this review received a replacement, I hope that it will not leak but will remain to be seen.
Very poor value
Very poor value. It is not tailored for my particular car, the webbing is poorly thought out and placed and inadequate, the car is always wet inside and out from condensation. Very disappointed.

Excellent fitting
So helpful and responded so quickly, the cover is absolutely brilliant and fits my car well and I also had it stain protected.
Excellent service all round.
Thank you.
Really disappointed with a car cover I…
Really disappointed with a car cover I bought for my Jaguar XF. The fit is terrible and the rear ties are so badly positioned they hardly reach the rear wheels making it difficult to tie them off. The middle strap going under the car is too short, again making it difficult to clip it securely. For a supposedly premium product costing over £150 I find this unacceptable. Time will tell whether it will last but its fit and quality is no better than a previous budget cover I bought from a different company a few years ago costing less than half of this one. On my experience I would definitely not recommend DirectCarCovers.
Cheap generic cover - not as advertised
I wish I'd read reviews on this first,
For £245 and having entered make model and year of the car into your website, I would expect a cover made specifically for that make, model and year of car.
The cover obviously isn't. The cover doesn't quite fit over the bottom of the front and rear bumpers and the attachments are just bits of webbing that need to be tied onto the wheels.
Very little thought has gone into the design.
It is flimsier than I expected with a layer of foam and a waterproof 'tarpaulin' type layer - I would expect something more durable for £245.
This cover should be £40-£80
Do not buy!!
Do not buy!!
Spent £150 on a car cover, total rubbish, leaked badly.
Emails and photos were ignored so had to claim money back through PayPal.
Good Quality Cover
I was pleased with the car cover when it arrived, and it fitted the car I had bought it for. A problem did develop, and there were delays in dealing with it (hence 4 stars, rather than 5), but finally a satifactory and speedy solution was found.
Buy Cheap You Buy Twice
Very disappointed , ripped after less than a week , took a number of days for customer services to respond. When they did I was told the size was wrong and that they would send out the correct size and some securing clips for the ties that go around the wheels. These should have been included in the first order. Got a refund today which will take 10 days to go back on the card I paid with. These covers are cheap for a reason , if you can afford to spend a bit more then do. Buy cheap you buy twice as they say.
Shocking - waste of money
AVOID - absolute rip off Shocking. Not sized for car and not waterproof!! Waste of money.
No reply from customer services.
Totally useless
Totally useless, Not waterproof.
Purchased the premium car cover, sent quickly, when I checked after a few weeks it was wet underneath. Have emailed 3 times with photos and been totally ignored.

Supposed to be 100%waterproof
Supposed to be 100%waterproof
The cover is soaked inside out and car wet! Don't bother wasting your money and time! Customer service is no good either. I sent an email with video and pictures and they don't bother to respond!
Car cover didn’t fit my car
Car cover didn’t fit my car, rain leaked through holes in the cover. After several emails and pictures being sent was told that the material is breathable and that it was probably condensation. I returned the cover at my own expense. But I did get my refund of the original cost of the cover.
A hole and signs of wear. Poor quality.
The product is not even six months old yet is showing signs of wear and has developed a hole. The nylon straps have all frayed. I have complained as a 12 month warranty was promised.
The great news is that the replacement is on its way
Great quality cover
Great quality cover. Really happy with my purchase. Very quick delivery.
Misleading Web site for a Generic Cover
The Directcarcovers website indicates that these covers are bespoke to a car. Select your make, model and year of car through the drop downs, which suggests that you are paying for a premium bespoke car cover.
Delivery is speedy but unpacking reveals a generic car cover with a cotton lining which could be sourced elsewhere at a third of the price .
I returned my purchase at my own expense ensuring the cover was packed as sent (read the returns policy carefully) and got a refund after a repeated chase.
Cover not made for a specific vehicle a cheap cover made in China.
This company claims to be selling premium car covers. They have an impressive website listing most makes and models. However the car cover they sold me, which they claimed was made for my car. Did not fit and was identical to one purchased on amazon. Both identical in size and both made in China. Direct car covers £150 or amazon £35 take your pick.
