Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 33 reviews, most reviewers were somewhat happy with their experience overall. Many customers appreciate the ease of preparing meals and the clear, simple recipes provided, which helps take the stress out of cooking. Reviewers often find the flavors of the dishes to be great and enjoy the variety of choices available, including options for vegetarians. The convenience of having ingredients delivered to their door is also a significant positive for many. However, some people were dissatisfied with the quality and quantity of ingredients, noting that portion sizes have decreased over time and that produce is not always fresh. There are also frequent complaints about missing items, incorrect ingredients, or recipe cards, which can be frustrating. Delivery issues, such as late arrivals, damaged boxes, or items not being properly refrigerated, are also a concern for a segment of customers.

Greens were not as fresh as I expected and garlic was soft. For the cost of four meals for two, quality was not present. Flavours were great though.

Long time Dinnerly customer

I've been getting Dinnerly for well over 3 years. Even though I have a limited diet option (vegetarian), there's usually a few favourite repeats but there's ALWAYS new recipes to try and they don't disappoint.

Convenience

I love not having to think about what we are having for dinner and not going to the shops every night to pick up ingredients

Missing Ingredients, Horrendous Customer Service

Terrible service. Just ordered my very first box and went to cook the first meal to find ingredients missing. After calling 'customer service' I was offered compensation for one missing ingredient. Easiest decision ever to cancel the box, pathetic service.

Hi Shane, thank you for providing your feedback. We are truly sorry to learn of your poor experience. We seem to have replied to this feedback of yours, but here it is again. It is, however, very strange to learn that you were missing several ingredients and were only compensated for one. Please be aware that certain household items are required to have around, and those are notified within each recipe you pick. Please feel free to reach out to us once again if further help is required, and our lovely customer care team will be happy to review the matter and provide assistance. Thanks in advance! All the best!

We thought we would give Dinnerly a go… and OMG, Yum!

We thought we would give Dinnerly a go after having not so good experiences with other services similar. 6 nights and we have made every recipe a favourite so far and have been so happy with portion sizes and how simple they have been to make. For us personally it has been around the same cost to a little bit cheaper with no waste! Our next box comes tomorrow and we cannot wait to try all the tasty recipes. Food quality has been great also. As yet, we can not fault this service from dinnerly.

Dinnerly has become a game changer for me

Dinnerly has become a game changer for me. My kids actively participate in selecting the weekly menu, and the delicious food ensures they finish every bite. The convenience of not having to decide what to cook daily has made my life much easier.

Great product and value

Great product and value. The level of packaging needs to be reduced! sweet chilli sauce, tomato paste, etc. are all pantry essentials and don't need to be included.

Love ordering dinnerly

Love ordering dinnerly. It's made my evenings so much quicker with not having to think about what ingredients I need and plus the hubby even jumps in and helps now with the ease of the recipes on his phone. Love the variety of food options and decent serving sizes.

Twice no delivery, no explanation

We've tried twice to get a box from Dinnerly. The first time it didn't turn up at all, we complained and they blamed their delivery partner, and then didn't give us any explanation.
We tried again to have a box delivered today and it was cancelled without warning or reason. I did receive an email around midday stating that their delivery partner would be ceasing delivery to our region on Saturdays from our next delivery. We've complained and not yet received a response.

I bought Dinnerly before Covid and it…

I bought Dinnerly before Covid and it was great. I have just come back to it and the quality is much lower than it used to be. The meals were bland and the quantity was reduced. Before Covid I would have rated 5 stars, now it's a 1.
