I deal with solictors a lot in my job this is the worst firm no one ever gets back to you and took over 6 months for a remortgage. Avoid like the plague. Offices in lots of differnt time zones no ability to trasnfer call, staff all work from home so only repson aat 3 in the mornig or 7pm so clearly have other jobs during the day, or keyboard wobblers.
Awful experience, avoid!
Awful experience, really slowing down the process of buying a property, slow responses if they bother to reply at all, they have ignored our last 4 requests for updates, terrible company, please avoid!
Portal has terrible design, UX, features, everything
You have us clicking on a link to download a pdf and then a whole new tab opens which looks almost identical. Then we can click on a button to say the task has been completed. This is not how websites work. This single bad design feature has caused days of delays and and stress which I have relayed to your support team. Why does a new tab open? Why does it look almost identical to the original tab?
Also, accessing a phone number for your support team is not clear. There is a phone number at the top of the screen under the name of my conveyancer, which I assume is for the conveyancer. In the end, the solicitor gave me a number 01844 390 888, which is not the number at the top of the page.
Furthermore, 'New message', who does this go to? To DM? It clearly says it will be sent to the solicitor. I tried to use this feature but my messages were not replied to. Also, filling out a support form, would this not be a good place to list you support phone number. I tried to use the form but it seems we are restricted to the subjects in the drop down box, none of which cover my question which was, 'why can't a find a link to do my identity checks?' There is no 'other' option or ability to enter free text.
Regarding the identity check, there is no explanation about the fact that these are not release immediately. I understand that it makes sense not to release the check link (or however you do it) immediately but where are the instructions for this? There are about three places where this process could be mentioned but you fail to do so
This is singularly the worst portal experience I've had. You should be having serious words with your design, UX and content team. 1 star.

Karen and Shannon at KR Conveyancing (Digital Move) went above and beyond to help with our completion, which had some legal issues.
Digital move platform is OK, what we did learn was when you were chased by email to complete tasks (which you then couldn't do on the platform) was that some have to be authorised first, so you just need to make a phone call and its all resolved.
All in all a brilliant service and thankyou to Karen and Shannon (the two ladies I dealt with).

First time buyer just completed
First time buyer just completed. I am rubbish with technology but managed to use digitalmove. A bit frustrating at first but great when running. Downside to this is the conveyancers not updating progress or answering messages. Digitalmove does what it should though.
Multiple Emails for Payment
I'm currently going through the process with Digital Move. Every few days I get an email to make a payment however I did this weeks ago. I wish I'd just gone directly.
IT'S ONLY AS GOOD AS YOUR CONVEYANCER
As a landlord I've dealt with DigitalMove several times and think that the concept is excellent. The only problems I have had stem from conveyancers that do not monitor the system and do not respond. This week I've been told that proof of adddress documents requested by and supplied to DM are not acceptable to them and I'm also being asked daily to pay an advance on fees but I'm then told that the system is not yet ready to accept payment.
Useless
Won't start the process until I have paid the initial fee. The payment is made over the phone and after 5 days, I still haven't been able to pay!! Gone with someone else.
I have two properties on one log on and…
I have two properties on one log on and one on another - and myself and my husband also have two log ins - when there is a message I do not know which account to look at, as it shows a number or address and you can only see this if you log into each account.On one account we cannot confirm instructions as it does not work. Saying that it is excellent for downloading documents

Good service. Charts the progress of case adequately. Easy to communicate with company dealing the case. Documents all in one place and record available. Good visibility on the step by step process for the client.

Good service, but with flaws
Good easy to use service - but has it's flaws.
For instance, the documents they ask you to sign and fill out are non-editable PDFs. So unless you have a printer and scanner, it might be a long trip to the local library for you!
Bit out of date in this modern age...
