Who the hell is home at working hours?

Who the hell is home at working hours?! And then we get punished by only being able to pick up our delivery that is already late by only being able to pick it up tomorrow, such horrible service, they never give the option to the customer to say when it can be delivered or where it might be dropped besides the neighbours house..

At DHL, the courier is always right.

The courier hides his face to avoid being seen on camera and, even though I opened the door, he doesn't bring the product upstairs and enters into the system that I'm not home. Thanks, DHL. Now I'll have to check whether DHL will deliver when I order a product. Or I won't be able to shop online. I won't wish you well with your employees who destroy all consumer trust with the ease of not facing any consequences.

What a terrible service no customer…

What a terrible service no customer contact numbers all hiding behind computers, I have sent 6 e mails of which i get a standard reply, not very helpful, I feel I have been scammed, i Do not recommend this company the service is terrible and I'm afraid my parcel will be lost in the system because when i put tracking number in it says no information very worried and very stressful

Such a bad and exhausting experience..

Such a bad and exhausting experience... they simply do whatever they want... they basically rob you! You pay for a service (home delivery) they don't even bother to pass by your house, and select that you were not home.. their customer support it's a joke, it makes everything even more frustrating. I dont understand why companies like this are still on the market.

One star is TOO MUCH! Order delivered to het Goy instead of my house in Utrecht. They won’t even make an attempt to deliver to the right address. Can’t get hold of anyone. Bot keeps saying the same thing: come pick it up yourself. WTAF?

Terrible

1 star is still too much. Parcels should be delivered to the parcel machine, but they always end up at a DHL distribution point, which is located in an impossible place far away in an industrial estate. This has happened three times in a row now. The reason given is that the machine is full, but that seems highly unlikely to me. It would probably be much simpler to just leave the parcel at the distribution point instead of having to take it to the parcel locker as well.

Extremely Disappointed with Service

I've had an incredibly frustrating experience with DHL regarding the delivery of my ARKET order. I ended up making multiple trips over the course of two weeks — and couldn't collect my parcel. Then I received an email stating my package would be returned within two days, even though I went there multiple times.

Since the package was in the pick-up location, I visited there three or four times, and each time left empty-handed. The staff kept saying the machine was broken, yet DHL never provided any updates or alternative solutions.

To make matters worse, the environment at the location was completely unprofessional. On my most recent visit, I was abruptly told, “It's not here,” by a staff member, and there were shirtless men standing around, smoking, and joking. The whole experience was uncomfortable, frustrating, and frankly unacceptable.

I've wasted time, energy, and money trying to retrieve a package that was never truly available. DHL's handling of this delivery has been careless and disappointing. If this is the standard of service, I'll seriously reconsider using DHL in the future.

nul ⭐ again instead of delivery to my adres DHL sents me a message that they will deliver my package to service point which I didint chose in the first place. I live in Tilburg Ring baan Oost. dhl chose to leave package at bestering. good luck with leaving package there during the Kermis 😂😂😂😂

If you have an option never use the services of this company, ever! I just hope amazon will hold them accountable for the damage they do and DHL ecomm will go bankrupt finally.

In short: first package never arrived, they said delivered into my letterbox, but the item is too big to fit in a letterbox. So don't know where it went.
The second shipment, where I indicated in the DHL app that I wanted it delivered at the local pickup point. They still delivered it to my home. The tracking said the package was personally handed to me, but I did not have the package. After checking I found the package sticking out from the outside in my letterbox where anybody could have taken the package.
Also the packaging from the item was badly dented and damaged, haven't checked if the computer part still works. This company shouldn't exist, can't wait for a delivery company who will only use pickup points.

Absolutely Unacceptable Delivery Practices – Avoid DHL at All Costs

DHL's delivery standards have completely deteriorated. Instead of delivering to individual apartments, packages are routinely dumped in the building’s central lobby — a clear sign of driver laziness and disregard for customer property. This isn’t just inconvenient; it’s a serious security issue. Packages have been stolen before, and DHL continues to ignore the risks.

But it gets worse.

When you file a complaint, DHL has the audacity to share your full address and package details directly with the driver you’re complaining about. This is an outrageous violation of privacy. I personally had a driver show up at my front door demanding to know why I complained. That is intimidating, invasive, and possibly illegal under GDPR or similar privacy laws.

Instead of protecting customers, DHL seems more interested in shielding negligent drivers and silencing complaints. There’s zero accountability, and the safety of customers is clearly not a priority.

If you care about your privacy, your safety, and actually receiving the items you pay for, avoid DHL at all costs. Businesses should seriously reconsider using them as a delivery partner. Their practices are not just sloppy — they’re dangerous.

These people can’t do anything

They were supposed to deliver 2 packages to a DHL parcel machine. The machine was full, so they immediately sent my packages back to the United States. Without even consulting me. Completely ridiculous. I hope I’m getting my money and custom charges back. Their customer support is also an insult to anyone’s intelligence.

DHL is a criminal organisation

My sick Cliënt is still waiting after 6 weeks on her herbs. Today i got contacted by someone who found me through my name on the internet that my package was delivered 5 villages further. I created a claim case and am waiting for a reply and to see how they will cover the extra costs we had to get the herbs to the proper location.

Update aug. 7th: Roughly 4 weeks after posting this review and DHL still has not responded or contacted me about this in any way. Even the sender of my package can't do anything about it and admits this problem is a common event when sending deliveries with DHL. Sadly they are under some "contract" they cannot get out off. Please people i urge you to stop using DHL P.D. Service asap and before signing any contract make sure you can declare the contract void if the terms are not met! This is going far beyond simple delivery complications!

I’m waiting on a package with a "out for delivery" for 4 DAYS

I’m waiting on a package, there has been marked “out for delivery” since THURSDAY, which means it takes 4 days IN NL to deliver a package ? I’ve tried ALL your chatbots which is a horrible customer experience, which gave me NO answer at all, the detailed tracking doesn’t work, I’ve tried several phonelines and choices within, which like your bots just points at your other departments. I want an answer ASAP on where my package is ? and when it arrives ? And I’m NEVER choosing you as delivery provider again !
