Ordered on Friday morning hours. Shipped by evening and got delivered by Tuesday(in-stock product). 100% legit.
I ordered a pair of Scott Harris frames that my optometrist no longer stocked. They arrived safely and well packaged.
Horrible customer service. They sent the wrong sunglasses and refused to pay for return shipping. Stay away

I have always been skeptical about purchasing expensive important things online and this experience validated all my worries. I decided to give this company a try based on all the "positive" reviews and I couldn't have been more disappointed. These reviews must of been a scam! I purchased Gucci mens prescription glasses and spent close to $1000 just for them to come apart and look nothing like they did in the picture! So in order to get them repaired I had to pay $60 to send them in as if it was my fault. So I sent them in and it took over a month to get them back just for them to come back worse than it was before! They came apart again and they expect me to pay another $60 to send them back in! Absolutely worst customer service and products are horrible. I could have saved me the hassle by purchasing these glasses at an actual store where I wouldn't have been scammed. I've learned my lesson. I will never purchase anything from this company again and if you don't want to experience the same issues I suggest you don't either.

I simply choke when I think about how much I have to pay for the frames that look best on my face at a optometrist or optical store. It only took about 7 days for these to arrive, and I literally say 50% on the frames. These guys are doing consumers a really great service, And of the three times I checked on the order customer service was very good. Just keep in mind they don't keep these in stock, they have to order them, so you're going to have some time before they get delivered. Personally to save $250 on a $500 frame? I don't mind waiting a few days. Kudos to the owners of this company!
I paid for next business day delivery and now 4 business days later, it's not yet there.

I was looking for magnetic " clip on" sunglasses for my new prescription glasses because I really, really disliked the amber colored ones that came with them from my eye doctor. Designer Optics made it super simple and easy to find the exact clip ons by inputing into their search bar a number/letter combination that I found on the inside stem of my glasses
Easy to use app, arrives as indicated, good pricing, item as shown and as ordered
3rd order placed
They make it seem like it is going to be 5-7 days. But I ordered on 7/08 on I am being told on 7/14 that they just sent to the lab, They then have to make them and you have NO idea how long that will take. On top of that it is another 5 to 7 business days BEFORE they ship. They you have to wait to ship. I would have NEVER ordered if I had known this it is very deceiving!

My glasses have a manufacturing defect, this was even confirmed within the email by designer optics. I have only had them for 24 days with little to normal use. I requested to do a warranty claim and was told I would be charged 20% of the original purchase price of my glasses to have them sent to persol. Persol does this for free! I'll never purchase from here again and I think that what you are doing is wrong as my glasses are still new. I would not purchase from here again, fast email response with poor customer service buy elsewhere! Never Again!

This is my first time purchasing from Designer Optics... and will NOT be my last. The Selection is Fabulous and Huge... so much more than any other retailer. I have few pairs of Tom Ford frames and I decided to switch it up this time to TIFFANY &CO ... AND OMY THEY ARE WONDERFUL. I usually use my insurance and still end up paying 500 for my scripts and frames. NOT ANYMORE....these were 350 and included transitions lenses and WITHOUT INSURANCE. Plus the ease of ordering and delivery was top notch. I placed my order on Friday and by the follow Friday am... my new glasses were in my hands. Packaged beautifully in TIFFANY box with case and accessories. I will be a repeat customer.
I'm going to make sure i post this review in as many sites as i possibly can because these guys are just not honest!
I purchased a pair of sunglasses online based on the details provided on their add, pictures etc...I had already tried on the pair i bought at an airport once so i knew what they looked like on me and the fit.
The purchase process was like any other online store, nothing espectacular.. a few days later the sunglasses arrived and when I took them out of the box, the colors and finish looked nothing like the pictures online. The frame was a brownish color with a glossy finish. I didn't mind the color but the finish was awful and NOWHERE on their online add, the finish was mentioned. I called them to initiate a return and to get more details about the other colors they had available for those glasses (It was a Canada Goose frame). I liked the Havana Grey and specifically asked the person on the phone if the finish was matte or glosse, and mentioned that the pictures online looked like it was matt, but so did the one I was returning so I wanted to make sure. The sales person on the phone (a guy) told me it was matte. The finish is matt" he said, so before i had received a refund or even returned the first pair, i bought the second one Havan Grey. The pair arrived one day late and I had left on vacation the day before (yeah so, the pair I wanted to have taken, ended up living in my mailbox for 2 weeks). I get back and to my discontent the new pair is GLOSSY! Glossy! despite having been told by the attendant on the phone it was MATTE!
To make matters worst, because of the delay in the delivery and my trip, i had gone over the return window (which is only 14 days, not the usual 30). they were kind enough to accept the return out of the return window (and this was the only good thing these guys did even though the second purchase only happened because they incorrectly told me the frame was matte, AND i was out of the return window because the delivery came a day late) and despite all of this, they refused to provide a full refund and took almost $10 for the return fee.
They gave me the wrong information, it was because of that wrong information this chain of unhappy events happened and even though they followed their return policy, i still lost a total of $20 because of their unreal add pictures, lack of detailed description and wrong information provided by their employee. Needless to say, i will never do business with them again.

Designer Optics is an awesome online supplier of quality eyewear at unbeatable prices. My orders were easy and shipping was quick with thorough updates on delivery.
I picked a pair of glasses . choose from all my options, submitted my subscription. when I receive the glasses they were too big they just fall off my face when I lean forward. When I contacted them they said there's no guarantee on custom glasses. But all prescription glasses are custom and all the other companies guarantee there glasses. So they offered me a 10% coupon knowing I'm never going to use this company again because I just lost $500 on glasses I can't wear. And that's why I'm making other potential customers aware of the fact that you don't have a guarantee and the other online companies do, so they don't lose like I lost

Terrible customer service. It’s been a month since I’ve ordered and have yet to receive my glasses. I called and they told me that the frames were on back order, no where during the purchasing process was I made aware of this. Had this been the case, I would’ve bought them directly from my eye doctor for an extra $100.00. I leave for my deployment in less than a week and they still were unwilling to help much at all. Said there “nothing they can do” I requested a refund and cancelation of the order but they said they couldn’t do that. No reason as to why they can’t so I will be reporting this as fraud with my bank. I never leave reviews but this put me almost $400 in the hole. Thanks again for your wonderful customer service. I will never order from this company again!
