I bought a battery for my laptop but the hidden charges of Bahraini Dinar was transferred from my account at the end of a period of 30 days which went unknowingly for me - since purchasing the battery from their website hides a rider without it being clear to the buyer that they will be enrolled into a "Pro-Memebership" clause. On top of that a lady with a Caucasian accent calls me while I am roaming that cost me another hefty BD 28/- ( I took the call inadvertently - my mistake) But the "Pro Membership" cost of BD 69/- is definitely conning without buyer noticing it!!!! Whom do we report this to, since there are lot of complaints here of the similar nature. I want to escalate this. I know some people but after reading all the complaints here I want to go after this company...anyone willing to take the road?

am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with Dessrtcart it was far from satisfactory. On July 7, 2024, I made the purchase and signed up for a one-month free trial of pro membership. However, on August 6, 2024, I was unexpectedly charged 823 SRA.
Just before the due date, despite having canceled my Pro membership on the same day. To make matters worse, after numerous emails, and chats with useless customer services, I prefer the cheapest option to refund only 150 SRA out of 823 SRA rather than being used by them. The funny part Pro membership is due on the 5th of August 2024. This explanation makes no sense and feels like an unfair practice aimed at trapping customers into unwanted charges. The entire experience has left me feeling thatDessrtcart cares more about making money from its customers than providing fair and transparent service. I hope Dessrtcart reconsiders its approach to customer service and refund practices to avoid further damage to its reputation.

It was a regrettable experience indeed because I was tricked and scammed by this company (desertcart) without me knowing. I always considered myself to be a smart buyer and I do not fall victim easily to scammers but sadly I fell for your this company! I purchased an item from them on desert cart and somehow desert cart sneakily signed me up to an annual membership which costs 699 dirhams. They did this by offering me free shipping but the catch is that they signed me up to this PRO membership without my consent and acknowledgment!

Hidden charges of 699aed for an annual subscription. When you order they will ask you do you want a free delivery which of course you agree to find yourself paying a membership which you can't cancel non-refundable. They replied you agreed to the term and conditions and you should have unsubscribed before 30 days it's a scam .. you can see by the number of ppl complaining about we can't be all wrong !!! My mistake didn't checked the reviews before !!

RUN FOR YOUR LIFE! They are the true definition of online SCAMMING. They debited me AED 699 for PRO membership which i did not subscribe to. I ordered 2 used drone batteries and i was given an option of free delivery as a new customer. Long after placing my order, they subscribed me to PRO membership without my approval or knowledge. This is obviously what they do and it is a deliberate scam scheme. I had to check online reviews and can see everyone complaining of same thing. This means it is a deliberate scam scheme by these Fraudsters!

They have hidden charges of annual membership that is over priced and they claim that they have sent e-mails but they didn't. They also refuse to cancel the useless membership.

If only I had checked reviews first I feel I did not sign up & checked twice that I hadn’t. Still had £!79.00 taken from account for a £52 purchase. So upset it’s an expensive lesson for just trying to save on a purchase. An absolute con should be some support for customers deceived in this way

Selling products at highly inflated prices, I sell a product on Amazon for £269, they are attempting to resell it at over £3000. I am not sure how they expect to deliver my products as they have not bought them and don't stock them. my products ship with instruction manuals which show our other products and also list the prices they should have paid, I will put a further note explaining the only authorised retailers and that if they purchased from this scam company they have been scammed

Do not trust them at all, ones you buy anything from them without knowing you automaticly subscribe and they will take money from your account.

The app doesn't have sorting or filtering abilities. Utterly annoying and disappointing.The app is impossible to navigate. I could not cancel my subscription because the option was not available until the trial was over and is now charged 69bhd (thats 140 British pounds)! How insane is that!!!

They will steal your money and deliver products you never ordered. Theyre supposed to pick up my wrong order after delivering a false product and give me a refund and I havent heard from them ever again. DO NOT EVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM

They are a liar and SCAM you don't tell people that need money that they will be putting their own money out hundreds of dollars before even getting a dime don't worry you find the right one I will report all of the companies and subsidiaries you all are the same

Scammers and thieves!! Don’t even think about engaging with these criminals. UAE government should be ashamed that they are allowing scammers to operate from their jurisdiction.

It’s a scam ….be careful of the pro subscription….they will trap you and charge u AED 699 even if your order stuff worth 100 Aed …..on top of that - spoke to a guy called Syed from DC head office ….he was super rude and Ill mannered….he claimed to be the final authority in the company ….and had a count careless attitude to the customers and the reputation of the brand …. Inspite of telling him that I may have wrongly subscribed to the annual member ship - he had only one answer ……it’s company policy and we will not refund - as a token we can give u AED 150 back but not the full amount …..worst customer service experience ever ….Desert cart if you want to make revenues by trapping and fleecing customers at-least have better customer service representative’s ……..i am never going back to desert cart and will make sure no one from my acquaintances order from desert cart …..
