Delivery not arrived.
The order never arrived, the rider kept my order without even calling, and the customer service was terrible and couldn’t resolve the issue

Order was late and bad communication at customer service side

Order was late. After one hour of waiting, I contacted them. Amany over the chat was sarcastic and unrealistic, telling me that after one hour , and after exceeding the delivery time window that was provided when we order, the order is not considered late. they kept me on the chat for 20 minutes until the delivery guy came. That was 1.5 hrs waiting to receive the food.
Food arrived cold as well because of the delay.
She said the restaurant was late to give the food but as per their notification, it is their driver who arrived late to pick it up.
Very Unprofessional!

AND NOT HAVING A CHANCE TO ANSWER THE CALL CAUSE I WAS IN A MEETING, THEY ARE TELLING THE DELIVERY IS WAITING FOR 13 MINUTES NOT EVEN TRY TO MAKE A BELL IN MY HOUSE OR EVEN LEAVE THE ITEM OUTSIDE RATHER THAN PUTTING IN THE APP THAT THEY DELIVERED THE ITEM EVEN IF THEY DIDNT. NOW, THEY ARE TELLING THAT THEY CANNOT REFUND THE AMOUNT OR REDELIVERING THE ITEM WHICH COST 800 AED. IMAGINE THE TRAUMA IM GETTING TO THIS COMPANY, CUSTOMER SERVICE ALSO IS POOR ALL REPLY LIKE AN AI REPLY.

Worse experience i had with food…

Worse experience i had with food orders, i payed by card but the delivery did not arrive then they said they went to a different location, i told them they have my number and they also have my correct address written in the App. Then the delivery said they will dispose it and we need to contact the customer service and when we did tbey said they cant help us, i already un installed the app and use NOON its so much better.

Very bad apps

Very bad apps. Customer service very unhelpful. They are giving invalid reason. They are putting promotion for firstime but can't use the voucher. And they will say that you are old customer. Even just now you download the app and register

I’m honestly fed up with Deliveroo

I’m honestly fed up with Deliveroo. Despite having a Pro account (wife account) and being shown huge banners promising “on-time delivery or your money back-20 aed-!”, the service is consistently late. Orders are always delayed, and the estimated delivery time keeps getting pushed back without any real explanation or accountability.

It’s not a one-time issue — it happens again and again, across different restaurants and times of day. What’s even more frustrating is that when you try to contact customer service, they’re dismissive. You’re left feeling like your time and money don’t matter.

If you’re considering Deliveroo for reliability — don’t. Even with a paid Pro subscription, they can’t keep their promises. Total disappointment.

Deliveroo are taking money off…

Deliveroo are taking money off customers and even if you get damaged, spilled items of groceries or rotten food they will say it’s perfect!!! Someone has to take them up. I bought tinned tomatoes that were all dented and leaking and they refused to refund or collect the damaged items! Thievery!!!

Worst experience one after the other with deliveroo. Never ever using this app again. Customer service get 0 rating from me. They never help you ever if food requests are ignored or food arrived open or item was missing or food delivered to A WRONG ADDRESS after you pay with your card !!! Their response " sorry we can't help you at the moment and we will take your feedback " so called feedback for money you payed ?? What is this?
I really recommend using another app. This is the 8th issue i has with them !! They seriously never help and I deleted my app and will never use it again. If you must use the app which I wouldn't recommend always choose cash on delivery to avoid losing hours of your time trying to fix the problem and your money !my family has also deleted the app happily. Never again

Worst service ever

Worst service ever! I don’t recommend Deliveroo to anyone, I placed a food order at 8PM and the delivery time is 12:30 Midnight!!!!! There is no way you can contact Deliveroo. I have never seen a worse service than this in my life. I will delete the App and share my experience with everyone. NEVER USE DELIVEROO!!!

I placed an order through Deliveroo and…

I placed an order through Deliveroo and applied a coupon. The total showed AED 60.5, but they charged me AED 110.5. I contacted their customer support several times, but they failed to resolve the issue and offered no real solution. This was an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience. I will never use Deliveroo again and I would not recommend it to anyone.

I made an order through Deliveroo app to KFC and the food I received was half which I had to dispose and once I complained and requested a refund they refused as it cannot be done shame on you Deliveroo for scamming customers with low quality service

Very disappointed with Deliveroo

Very disappointed with Deliveroo. Ordered a tuna pizza and waited nearly an hour, only to receive the wrong order. The pizza that arrived was bland, cold, and definitely not worth the price. What made it worse was Deliveroo’s resolution — generic, unhelpful, and far from compensating for the poor experience. Also surprised this restaurant has such a high rating on the app — either the reviews are outdated or completely misleading.

Honestly, I’ve never had this kind of issue with Talabat — faster service, more accurate orders, and much better customer support. Might stick with them from now on.

wish 0 stars option was there

wish 0 stars option was there! placed 3 orders for an event. The adress was corrected but all drivers were sent to another pinned location. Spoke with them 45 mins and got nothing resolved. They refused to reimbursed me despite escalating the matter to managers and writing mails. We erase their app and we will never use it again
