I have been customer with Degiro since more than 10 years, and I regret this experience. The plateform is the most expensive and the most complicated to manage. It misses the most important features such as forex, cheap fees and after hours trading.
I am now with Trading 212 and I recommend it because it is much better than Degiro

Have had a good experience with this platform but Brexit has made it extremely difficult to trade here due to the time and bureaucracy it takes to move funds around. Cannot fault the platform though. Easy to use and manage unlike etoro!

Degiro lost my withdrawal - they are blaming this is stuck with Citi and doing nothing to recover, the funds have not either reached my bank account or been returned to the trading account. Numerous emails and phone calls over a month now and we are nowhere near any resolution - the company has fallen of a cliff in terms of service quality...

Update as of 29 July - you can see Degiro replied below that the case is being worked on, which is what they are telling me on the phone and emails as well. However, the funds are still missing, now almost 2 months and no resolution in sight...

A further update as of 8 August - the issue is still not resolved. Moreover, Degiro told me this was a one-off occasion which should not affect my future withdrawals - I initiated another one for a smaller amount to test this, and guess what, it got stuck similar to the first one. There is zero trust left and I will probably be filing a complaint with the regulator.

A further update as of 27 August, so apparently Degiro's clearing bank (Citibank) requested details on me to run OFAC checks, which Degiro have not informed me about. The withdrawal has been rejected, because Degiro did not timely contact me and provide the requested details to the bank. I have now got funds back into my Degiro account, more than 3 months later, and have been told by Degiro that I can try to withdraw them again - of course no guarantees that this would go through or that they would inform me of the bank's requests. The quality of customer service or problem resolution is beyond any acceptable standard, I will not recommend anybody to use Degiro as a broker, as you may not be able to get your funds back.

After 7 years of trading with them, I have no choice but to close my account with this scandalous company. I have been trying to withdraw money from my account. However due to issues on their end, these withdrawals have not been coming into my account. It has taken me over 20 emails, 5 calls and 6 weeks of waiting to recover most of my money. The call center staff are useless, email customer service is non existant and takes 5 days to respond. I am surprised this company has not been shut down yet. Years of trading gains lost due to the incompetence of this company. I would not advice anyone to open and trade with DeGiro as you will struggle to withdraw your funds!

Degiro is a highly efficient stockbroker and I am very happy to be its client.

A really poor recent experience getting in contact with support for an issue related to the National Grid rights issue. Support take several days to reply, I was promised different to web support Vs telephone support. Telephone support told me they would sort out the issue and get back to me (never heard back). Web support are fully incompetent, they cannot understand the issue and are unable to identify the @gmail email Vs @googlemail email and have the audacity to tell me I'm not emailing from the registered email address?! I thought these people were technically literate. Overall stay away if you have a need for any kind of support from this broker.

Absolute shambles of a company.

Anytime I try to ring them (for an issue of their own doing) the number is either unrecognised or "currently unavailable". How is this a way to run a business where clients can't reach you.

As soon as I managed to log in to my account I will delete it and call it a day.

This is the best platform I have ever traded on, offering great functionality, access to worldwide markets and very reasonable fees.

I have been using the platform for more than 5 years now. Extrelemt effective, low cost and reliable.

Night mode is great, easy interface, good support, great if your main currency is EUR.

I've been using Degiro for a little while due to their low fees, and given I am a long term investor, this suits me well.

Pros:
Good customer service. This one has continued to surprise me. Whether by email, or through the low waiting times, helpful and pleasant conversations (shoutout to Kirio from the call centre in Sofia, Bulgaria), I've gotten my questions answered well and in a friendly manner.

Web platform works fine, never experienced a bug before.

Cons:
Lacks certain more advanced features such as Stop limit orders with a larger range (or even the ability to see the range degiro will accept), or to be able to include formulas in your stop limit orders such as current price - 3(14 day trailing ATR)

More limited range of financial products compared to some American brokerages I've used in the past, however this might be the case for all European based broken, I don't know.

Has an excellent range of shares to trade.

Easy website to navigate, costs are very low. Orders are executed asap and are reflected immediately in your account. Have always kept me informed fully.
I'm always hoping that they will add to their list of European exchanges but apart from that I have nothing but praise for them

This company knows what it is doing with good communication and execution of orders at great value you feel in good hands. Suggest you give them a test drive for sure. I am delighted.
