Trap! Avoid This Store – No EU Returns, No Support, Very Poor Service

I ordered a jacket from Decordutch / Kjoygift and the experience has been extremely disappointing.

The product I received was not as described, so I contacted the company to return it. However, they refused to provide any EU return address, even though I am based in the Netherlands. Instead, they insisted that I send the item back to China at my own cost, which is almost as expensive as the product itself.

I cooperated fully, sent photos, explained the issue, and followed their process, yet they still refused a reasonable solution. They eventually offered only a 30% refund, which is unfair given that the product is unused and in perfect condition. After I politely proposed a fair solution, they stopped responding completely. I have not received a real reply since 13 November, despite several follow-up emails.

This company does not follow EU consumer protection rules, provides no local return option, and offers poor customer service. I strongly advise others to be cautious before ordering from them.

They make it look like they are a Dutch company, but they are not. It is a SCAM. They send me a product which is rubbish, they say i can send the product back to China - I did not order the product from China. When I complained they stopped responding to my emails altogether. I already reported this company to the Dutch police. Please do that as well if you live in the Netherlands.

This is NOT a Dutch company, STAY AWAY, it is a scam. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM... Their products are of extremely poor quality. The pictures they show on the website are totally fake, you will receive a product which is by no means even similar to the pictures.

I’ve bought a lamp from DecorDutch on Tuesday 21/10/25 and was totally misled by this website to think is a Dutch designer store.
They are a dropshipping company that delivers the products from China.
Again, if I wanted a product from China, I could have easily bought a lamp from Temu and paid more than half less of what I actually paid.
Currently, I just received the tracking number and the lamp is “not yet shipped or collected by the carrier”. Hence, it’s possible to cancel my order and shipment.
However, the only way to contact them is by email and they have replied with a macro, which is sent to all the customers with the same information saying“they cannot help”.
So basically, even if the lamp is at their hands in their warehouse, they are unwilling to cancel the shipment and to send it to me. Now, I’ll need to wait who knows how long it will take from China to the Netherlands.
The worst, to return this item, the buyer (me) needs to pay for the return to China and they don’t refund the original shipment. So basically, if you are lucky enough to get a refund it will not be the total amount paid because they will keep the shipment cost.
All of this is absurd and can be easily avoided with the cancellation of this order before the shipment starts but they just refused to do so.
This is a spam company, that totally misleads customers.

The worst. Super poor quality, shitty service. If you want to return they let you return it to China and you would have to pay the return costs (around 60 euros) yourself.

Terrible company. Bad quality, the lamps look nothing like the photos. When I enquired about returning the lamps, I was asked to send lots of pictures of the unused lights. Then was offered 30% cash back or an option to send the product back from the Netherlands to CHINA at my own cost. Absolutely rubbish. Do not buy anything from this company they are a total scam, pretending to be a nice Dutch Design company but it's cheap chinese shit.

What a bad company, do not order! The chain ordered turned in no time / 1 day black and they are not willing to refund but offered to send the same! article. If you disagree because the chain is bad quality from China they do not respond anymore. An expensive chain for Euro 34,95 and no refund even it is written in their policy to offer at least 50% payment back. If it gets difficult they choose not to answer anymore.

I received one lamp which was broken. Then I had to send about 10 emails back and forth for a replacement, which arrived about 4 months later. Upon trying to hang the replacement lamp we discovered it had a different fitting than the other lamp of the pair we ordered. We then had to go buy different fittings ourselves. THEN upon hanging the lamp we discovered one of them is thicker on one side meaning it hangs crooked....

It's scam company from China/HongKong disguised as a Dutch company. I really wish I had read all the red flags comments about them first before placing an order. Once you place an order, it's impossible to cancel, talk to someone, or track the order. They give a tracking link but other than the fact that it's been 'shipped' which means that the order is received, you can't tell where your product is. Also, it doesn't say at the time of order, but it takes months for delivery which they didn't mention on purpose so that people would place an order not knowing how f'ing long it would take.

This is a trully fraudulent seller cheating it's customers saying that they're trading in the Netherlands, but actually they're in China. The delivery of the goods takes long, and there is no guarantee that you will receive the goods.
I will do my best to ban their activity in the European Union.
AVOID dealing with this trader!

Fake. The product received doesnt look anything like the pictures. They stop replying emails once you say you want to return the product. Fake, scam of a company.

They say you can return products but they forget to tell you they ship from China. Not only it's very expensive to send anything back, but you also have to wish your products crosses chinese customs, which isn't the case for me .
Result: I'm down the price of the product + return. Infuriating !

This is a Chinese company camouflaged as a Dutch one. Products are sent from China and take a month to be delivered. They don't have real brands and seem to be hand-made and hand-packaged.

Quality is extremely poor and you can find the same items, with the same pictures, on AliExpress at a ~5-10X lower price. They do not allow returns or refunds, and in general this is just a rip-off and scam page.

They have similar pages across the EU faking to be European companies but in the end it's the same background Chinese one.

Stay away. This is a total scam.
