Awful company

Awful company
they answer your messages with no answer at all and a generic "have a lovely day" as for returning an item and getting your money back, good luck!
still waiting on refund despite what they say in there reply as of 23/4/24.

Very good people to do business with

Very good people to do business with, helpful and responsive, received my bike kit today after being messed around by the couriers, Cyclotricity used DHL and they are terrible, lost the first delivery and had to have another kit sent out which was done over night, over all pleased with my purchase.

Mislaid missing parts

I had an issue with the rear wheel assembly on my Stealth 500, I contacted Cyclotricity, they were very helpful and sent me the missing parts that I needed and must have mislaid. Thank you Elaine for dealing with this I am most grateful.

I required a cable to repair my…

I required a cable to repair my Cyclotricity Sahara cycle and although this wasn't available the complete pannier was recommended. This was at a very good price and saved me a lot of work. The pannier was despatched quickly and the cycle was repaired successfully. At all times my queries were answered promptly and the advice given was correct. Brilliant service Many thanks. Phil

New battery

I ordered a new battery for my Cyclotricity Revolver. It arrived promptly, and within a few days I was riding the bike again. Elaine and the team were helpful in explaining how to remove the battery from its holder before attaching the holder to the bike (I had to remove the old holder first because the battery is not the same as the original one that came with the bike).

1000W Stealth We Got There in the End !

Firstly I’d like to say eventually I’m really happy with my bike (1000W Stealth) from Cyclotricity. However It took a long time to achieve satisfaction. I placed my order back in October 2023, the first bike I was sent had clearly been used (not necessarily on the road but maybe a showroom model) it was grubby / dirty in places there were several damaged parts which couldn’t (all) have happened in transit. Although Cyclotricty insist it was new, I’m not convinced. (Also missing the throttle which I ordered in addition) Anyway, returning that bike was a nightmare having this huge box awaiting collection was far from ideal. The whole process took ages, Upon receiving the bike back Cyclotricity said that I hadn’t secured it properly and more damage was done to the battery, (I returned it exactly how I received it) and offered for me to keep the damaged battery (which was now cracked and would be exposed to water ingress and good knows what else) for my new bike, or 10% off a new one 🤷‍♂️ wTHEf ! I declined their kind offer and demanded a new bike with new battery after some stressful back and forth emails eventually they agreed to a new battery. I now have the satisfactory new bike and replacement battery. New bike arrived before Xmas with a broken battery 🤦🏼‍♂️ (in fact exactly how the 1st battery was described to me when offered to keep it, could be a coincidence but I think they sent me the old broken / cracked battery back. So had to wait out the Xmas period before returning the broken battery again and having a new one sent to me.

Finally !! It’s mid January and I’m happy with it, Shame it took 2 1/2 months to rectify the issues.

I must also stipulate that Elaine (who I feel was the middle person in helping resolve my issues) has been excellent throughout, she kept me updated with calls and emails so I can’t fault her efforts to keep me happy as a customer. I feel the slow resolve and poor speed of communication and ridiculous offers comes from above. Thanks Elaine for your effort’s Cyclotricity should give you a medal.

Now to bike itself.
The bike is great (Now) can’t fault it. I went for the 1000w model with hydraulic brakes and throttle, It was easy enough to hack with clear instructions (to disengage 250w limit). Im 6ft tall and weigh 100kg the bike will easily do 25mph without pedalling (throttle only) on a flat road (erm I mean country track privately owned) 😉 would probably do 30mph as specified, if I was a tad lighter or on a downhill slope.
The bike is obviously quite heavy with the weight of the battery and the motor etc, so takes a bit of effort manoeuvring it like when putting it away over lifting over stiles etc. But when riding either wish assist or throttle the weight is unnoticeable as the power from the motor makes light work of it. I definitely recommend this bike and wish people a hassle free purchase as the problematic dealings were too lengthy.

New Battery

After 8 years of happy e-cycling I decided to buy an extra battery for my pannier mounted system.
Elaine and team were wonderful and sent me what was needed very promptly. So now I can look forward to even longer rides.

don't trust them

I was assured i would get my bike before xmas,then i was told it would be straight after xmas, then they admit that the bike builder was on holiday until the new year! lies and more lies. Don't believe their delivery times.They lure you in then let you down.

I bought a Cyclotricity Stealth 500w…

I bought a Cyclotricity Stealth 500w about 6 months ago and have covered several hundred miles on it. It is exceptional value for money, and in general I am very happy with it. It's comfortable to ride and the battery lasts all day. However, I have a few 'buts'.
They advertise that the bikes are built in the UK. No, they are 'assembled' in the UK, from entirely foreign parts. When it arrived, I found the gearing was bizarre. Without power, I could hardly peddle it on the flat, never mind up a mountain. I changed both the chainring, and the freewheel cassette (that only cost about £30) and now it is much better. My final quibble is that there are few, if any, agents around. I had a minor electrical fault, and had to take the bike to Glenthrothes to get a fix.

Delivery was later than originally…

Delivery was later than originally expected, pedals were missing, however, after a phone call and email to confirm details issue was resolved quickly.
So far so good with bike, sturdy bike, good components.

100% recommended by me

Cyclotricity were great at resolving the problems (possibly caused by me) I experienced initially with my 36v 250W conversion kit.
I'm impressed by the quality of the kit but even more impressed with the after-sales care I received.
Cyclotricity are 100% recommended by me!

Lost all trust in Cyclotrocity

Lost all trust in Cyclotrocity. I bought a conversion kit from them approx 2 years ago and now the battery has degraded such that the range is only 8 miles on relatively flat roads and the system is only partially used at level 1 assist. You cannot get another battery from anywhere else as nobody supplies batteries for these system, must ask why not. Spoken with UK an agent and found they could not give me any technical help on the battery spec. Suspect this is a low quality product. Just spoke to Elaine who told me that if I wanted a charger for a new battery it would cost an extra £59.99. Now starting to strip my Cyclotricity system out and get rid of the poor quality system. Buyers beware expect to replace you battery early. When I check both my battery and motor unit I found it did not have any makers mark, serial number or CE a marking suggest it is a poor quality Chinese knock off. Not impressed.

Good customer service

Ordered front wheel e-bike kit and it arrived really quickly.......however my heart sank when I discovered that they had sent the wrong sized wheel. The good news was that easy to get hold of customer service and Elaine was great. Wheel collected and correct replacement delivered - so issue resolved within a week. As for the kit needed a bit of tweaking to fit but love it and cycling to work every day - even in the wind and the rain.
