The kit is really easy to fit and is great quality. I had one small issue with the LCD Dashboard, but Elaine diagnosed the problem within an hour or two, it was my fault all along for bending a connec... See more

Mid-drive conversion issue
I have had a mid-drive conversion kit with rear-mounted battery from Cyclotricity since 2021; the pedal assist is great for my ageing knees. The unit needed replacing once under guarantee and they did lose the returned item at their end for a couple of weeks, which was stressful, but customer service were prompt and courteous in answering queries and it was sorted in the end.
About a month ago the whole thing just stopped working - very frustrating. However, Elaine was helpful in suggesting things to try after we had gone through the 'official' troubleshooting process. Interestingly, however, the culprit, a loose connection, turned out to be inside the battery case (not inside the battery unit) and I was very grateful for my extremely savvy husband for sorting this out - I'm not sure the suggestions from Cyclotricity would have got me this far on my own. He actually had to replace the dodgy connections and I have to say it is now like new again. My suspicion is that it's been subpar since the repair under guarantee. Fingers crossed!
Stealth Cycle
Prompt delivery have tried the Stealth and am more than pleased with it and would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone
Good response all round
Prompt delivery and response on a missing charger. Good packaging, everything working fine, just needed a bit of fettling here and there to get it all fitted eg needed to use a penny washer suitably opened up to go over oval shaped rear axle as an extra spacer as top cog so close to frame that chain would not clear.
All sorted now
Amended my review after some issues now fully sorted by their customer services. All working well 👍
New battery
I ordered a new battery on 29 April. It arrived on 10 May, but I had been warned that the delivery would be delayed because the company was having to change their delivery firm. When the battery arrived it was not the kind I had ordered and paid for. I emailed the company and was advised that the battery I had ordered was no longer available. Unfortunately, I am having to make a modification to connect the battery to the control box. Had I been advised at the time of ordering the battery about its non-availability etc I might have cancelled the order (although it does seem from my searching on the internet that I cannot source the battery from elsewhere). I found it frustrating that on the many times I phoned the company I got no reply and had to resort to emails. However, at my request, Elaine Macanas did phone me and, to be fair, she was very helpful and polite (as she was also in her emails).

This is my third Cyclotricity bike and it arrived a week after ordering. They are very well priced although the second one, a 1000 29er had some problems. This one, another 29er seems fine and is definitely an upgrade apart from the tires which skid quite easily.
Worst online shopping experience in my life
Ordered 250 ekit on 26th of April,I have received the kit ( it took over 2 weeks to receive) minus the battery,DHL were ment to deliver 2 items I received 1, Dhl then apparently the to deliver the battery on 2 occasions but left me no card or text or email to inform me and have seemingly returned to cyclotricity but I have been unable to contact them to find out when I can expect to get it. Express delivery, what a joke.thankfully I paid using PayPal so if battery not here by Friday24th I am asking for a refund and I'll spend my 350 elsewhere.Totally f@##ed off with this company, very little communication and obviously don't care about their customers, only the customers cash.STAY AWAY from this company. Kits are ment be made in Glenrothes which is 20 miles from my home town but it is nearly a month since I've ordered and I am still waiting on completion of my order.🤬

I have had a stealth 1000w for over 8 years and it's still going. It's a little tired now, I've had quite a few crashes on it, as I'm a terrible drink rider. Broken collar bone, dislocated shoulder, and lots of cuts and bruises. All my fault. That being said, I can highly recommend the bike. It's an absolute beast, and I've done about 15 thousand miles on it. I love it and I'm getting another one soon.

Paid £350 for kit
Paid £350 for kit. 3 weeks overdue. No communication from them. I’ve rang and poor answer. Blamed DHL ….. but they, cyclotricity, have my money. I am now on my cycling holiday without kit and £350 short. Not happy.
Excellent service.
Had an issue with tyre fit on the new front wheel but they were very helpful and it was sorted out. The kit is well made, easy to fit and works great.

Great help from Elaine in chasing my order
Smooth and speedy
Ordered a Stealth using the Halfords Cycle2Work vouchers - just had to email, rather than ordering via the website. Elaine was (as you can tell from the other reviews) extremely helpful in guiding me through this process.
Took exactly 2 weeks from first contact to having the bike show up and be ready to go. Even comes with a free child entertainment system (massive cardboard box).
Review title applies to the process and the bike. :)
Excellent buying experience
Ordered conversion kit. Minor issue with courier was dealt with very quickly by Cyclotricity and great communication from Elaine at Customer Services. Kit delivered quickly and although I haven't had chance to fit it yet, all looks promising and products look to be of a good quality. Would happily deal with again!
Customer Service identified the problem.
My conversion kit malfuctioned after 5 years. Email communication with Cyclotricity identified the problem and I was able to fix it in a few minutes. Thanks for the excellent customer service from Elaine Macanas.
Much improved.
After some initial problems with my cycle especially with regard to contacting them, they seem to have upped their game and now respond quickly to any queries.
E-bike conversion kit.
Had a mid-drive unit fitted on my 2nd bike by my local cycle shop. So far, very happy with the result. My queries with Cyclotricity Customer Services have been answered promptly and fully.
Excellent Customer service
I have a DIY kit on my work bike that is a few years old now and had stopped working. Elaine Macanas kept in contact via email until we could figure out the problem. I now have the correct parts to fix my old kit and I also have purchased a new DIY kit for my off road bike. The DIY kits are really good and the customer service is EXCELLENT.
I lent them £700 for a few weeks of stress.
Ordered a middrive kit (circa £700). No order confirmation, invoice, delivery info etc. Several issues with the order, missing items and battery incorrectly labeled as 48v. Instructions in Chinese. The kit started to make a squalling noise within 20miles of first riding and power kept dropping out. I also couldn't de-restrict as the company told me the control unit was not the one they sell (certainly came in their box!). When I asked to return the item, custsomer services ignored me until I called them. Took weeks and many hours of work to essentailly be back. Nice lady in customer services though.
Battery Issue
Had a battery problem and had to return for exchange. After initial problems the issue was dealt with in a professional manner and new battery provided
