Buyer Beware, Customer Service is poor

We used Currenxie for a few transfers and was reliable.

We then transferred a larger amount on the 4th occasion and now they have stopped replying altogether and the beneficiary has not received their funds.

We're starting to question whether they are Legitimate as they are not replying or calling us back despite many attempts.

Excellent service

Excellent service. 100% trustworthy. I just have an overall great experience. When I have doubts or questions there is always a quick answer and help. Currenxie has helped to my business work better and bigger. Thanks to the whole team of Currenxie. Keep doing a great job!

Good value

Fees are huge. No IBAN. Reference text in the transfer is really short.

When receive payments you need to ask the payee to write "Currenxie" in the payee field, which is really confusing for many of your business customers since they are supposed to be paying to your business, not to an unknown "Currenxie". And for some this is a legal issue since in the invoice they have there is the name of my business but in the ledger they have a payment to "Currenxie".

They are very responsive per email and very competent. Transfers happen quite quick, both receiving and sending. Mobile app and web app are consistent and do the job. The app and website is not so modern as N26 or Transferwise but on the other hand it works perfectly and does what is supposed to do.

Honestly, with the little options we have in HK, this is a reasonable choice. Besides the huge fees.

Update Feb 2021:
They have reduced fees now and is quite fair. UI has improved (but not at level of N26 or Transferwise and for the mobile app not yet rolled out).
Now offering IBANs and account numbers in more regions including EU

Regarding the IBAN and naming requirement, those are specific to our Hong Kong accounts, as Hong Kong does not use the IBAN system. We issue accounts in 10 jurisdictions globally, IBANs are included wherever they are used, and you do not need to insert 'Currenxie' in any of the other jurisdictions. Hopefully this explanation helps!

We also have a brand new UI, and our fees are now much lower for all payment types.

We choose Currenxie as financial services provider for some reasons. It's a professional team providing high-class service and good rates. I like their stable and user-friendly platform. All transfers are fast and secure. Recomend.

Excellent Solution, great customer care

I have been using Currenxie for 2 years now,
ease of creating an account, good and efficient support
then for a long time the only downside was they were expensive, but they keep adapting their prices now, and they are quite competitive.

Would recommend

Currenxie's Global Account was quick and easy to set up remotely without ever having to be present in the country I want to bank in, which made setting up a corporate subsidiary abroad a lot easier to handle.

So far, I've had few reasons to contact customer support, but when I did I usually received feedback within about an hour and always had my questions answered fully.

Helpful and Responsive

Helpful, responsive and easy to use. Matteo Serone also came to me first to save me money in transfer fees by setting up a US account for our merchant facility. We are saving more than $200 a month now because of that. Thank you.

Waste of time. Avoid at all cost!

We opened an account with Currenxie, afrer logging in we had to select from a variety of currency accounts to open e.g US currency account, Euro currency account etc. We were advised by their team to select the Multi Currency Hong Kong account, of which we did. Two weeks later on our dashboard it shows that the account is STILL pending.

This is so weird because on their website they state:
"In a span of 24 hours, Currenxie will approve the sent application and will issue a unique bank account number."

We have had almost two weeks of no responses from their agents, who by the way you can only communicate with via email.

I regret wasting my time with this company. They have claimed "Currenxie aims to diminish the barriers between trade through our offered solutions" but really this turned out to be a waste of time.

Waste of two weeks. And no responses from customer agents. It's appalling.
