Two people from Curchods made the buying experience an absolute delight.
Firstly, initial contact through Jonathan who is the manager and a very very decent insightful helpful Man.
However complete kudos has to go to Caroline the senior negotiator who was absolutely 100% rock solid all the way through the process.
She is helpful, professional, polite patient thoughtful.
She is a benchmark for Customer Service.
So much so that on bank holiday’s she made herself available and evenings she checked her emails and fundamentally made sure that everyone involved in this process were kept informed.
I cannot understate how Caroline’s involvement in the buying process completely transformed not only the outcome but also the experience.
Caroline is a she is a credit to herself and Curchods (both).

We had a fantastic experience with Curchods Godalming and cannot recommend them highly enough. We had valuations from several high street estate agents, but Curchods really stood out. The amount of research and preparation they did on our property before their visit was very impressive, and they were by far the most professional and informed.

Once we listed with them, their communication and level of service were exceptional. They sold our property quickly and guided us through to exchange and completion. A special mention to Adam, Jonathan, and Caroline who made what is normally a stressful process much easier, they were brilliant to work with.

A series of errors

Floor plans at launch were incorrect schematically and numerical floor size calculations.

Advert text was rushed and of poor quality, later explained as being due to staff working whilst sick.

Incorrect personal data was shared on sales notices

Viewing staff needed accompanying as did not know the facts of the house

Whilst overall our experience was very poor, it is worth saying that Adam at the Godalming branch is good.

The team a Curchods, headed up by Johnathan, were absolutely brilliant, extremely knowledgeable, resourceful and nothing was too much effort.
Going the extra mile, to keep the process moving and consummately professional, yet managing a brilliantly personal touch.
When the first sale fell through, the team re grouped and got us back on track immediately, with a new sale lined up soon after.
If you want to work with a team, that will get the job done, Curchods are the ones for you. I can’t praise them enough.

Churchods were amazing. My sale was a period character apartment. Lovely, but needed the right buyers. Curchods put in extra efforts d guided myself and the buyer excellently through the pricess

Curchods Godalming helped us sell our house in a difficult market.
We had more viewings with them in a fortnight than we had had with other agents in 4 months.
The whole team was very helpful. They always had time for us and kept us informed throughout the whole process.
Caroline, who crunched the deal, was very patient and worked very hard for things to happen just right.

We initially made an enquiry about selling our family home of 64 years last June. The property wasn’t quite ready for sale then but Curchods kept in regular contact. They were the only Agents we approached. When we were ready to sell, we initially found things a little pushy but we didn’t sign any paperwork or instruct the EPC until we were 100% sure. After this things worked very well and a buyer was secured in less than 3 weeks. Only criticism is that the property wasn’t left as it was found on viewings with internal doors and blinds left open right up until the last visit days before completion. Also there seemed to be some confusion with the Agent asking for instructions which we feel should have come from the Solicitor. We were also told that on completion the Agent would contact us to make sure we were happy to release the keys but this didn’t happen and the Solicitor informed us she had already released them. Would definitely recommend or use again though.

Curchods in Godalming have just sold my brother-in-law's property with myself as power-of-attorney. They were quick to find a buyer and with their recommended solicitor were able to see the sale through very quickly. The staff were very good at keeping up communications. Although only a sale with no chain, there were complexities with the property being empty, the poa situations and my being out-of-country. However, Curchods were most helpful and facilitated matters beyond their remit. No hesitation in giving them a 5-star recommendation.

On the passing of my mother I had the daunting task of selling her house ,I was lucky enough to get James to help with this ,after a first little hurdle ,James helped me secure a buyer and although its not been plain sailing I have finally sold the property and its all thanks to James and all his hard work so I am very thankful for all his help and can move on with my life ,my family and myself would like to say a huge thanks to James and the selling team at the Godalming branch .
