They have a great sales pitch to get you to become a member. After you open an account and fund it that is when you are ignored. I have tried to call but over 6 months they haven't answered one time. I cant recommend them.

This enormous CU gobbled up my own small local CU, Emory Alliance CU, and I was promised higher rates on my deposits and better service. I got NEITHER. Instead, this CU rolled out a raft of fees that even a giant monster megabank wouldn't have the nerve to institute. I STILL get the same PENNIES in interest on MY TENS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN DEPOSITS that I got from my previous CU with even WORSE customer service. THIS CU keeps changing its routing numbers, forcing ME to do ITS job of contacting MY direct depositors. Ever try doing that with Social Security during a government shutdown? Good luck. I still work and get my paycheck direct deposited and even though I was able to change THAT routing number with my employer, THIS CU keeps sending me emails that I need to change it. I tried calling Credit Union 1 at 2pm their time and was told in a recording that NO ONE COULD ANSWER THE PHONE! Due to a meeting everyone was in. Really? I have NEVER been able to speak to an ACTUAL LIVE PERSON at Credit Union 1. NO STARS!
