A ray of sunlight

The Property Institute have forwarded me an email from Crown Property Management which said "In accordance with TPI conclusion I hereby apologise unreservedly" which was nice, but unfortunately Crown Property Management has still done nothing to correct the situation.

Warning to Potential Customers

Based on my personal experience, I urge caution when considering this firm for estate management services. Over several years, I have encountered significant challenges, including what I believe to be a lack of transparency and accountability.
The most concerning issue: the owner declined to meet with me to discuss serious concerns. In my opinion, this is one of the most disappointing actions a business can take. Meeting clients—especially when issues persist—is a basic standard of professionalism and client care. Most reputable owners would take this step to protect their company’s reputation and demonstrate respect. Refusing to do so, in my view, suggests a lack of responsibility and disregard for customer concerns.
This raises a fair question: what reason could there be for refusing to meet a client? Transparency is a cornerstone of good business practice, and this decision left me questioning that commitment. If a simple meeting with the owner could have prevented a review like this, does that not raise concerns? To me, it suggests the owner may be unwilling to take responsibility or prioritize client concerns—or even their own reputation. Their written response acknowledges this refusal, which I personally find telling. Would you feel confident engaging with a firm where the owner avoids direct accountability and delegates serious complaints to an employee instead?
Another observation: I noticed a change in review patterns—at one point, there were numerous negative reviews, followed by a sudden influx of positive ones. I personally found this unusual and it raised questions for me about consistency. Readers should form their own judgment, but I believe this is worth noting.

Documented Evidence

Email from the owner referring to me in what I considered an unprofessional manner.
Letter from the accountant for the company they manage confirming that fines mentioned by the business were inaccurate.
Letter from an 85-year-old, disabled, widowed resident supporting her son, which received no reply.

Living at the property has become extremely difficult under this management. Other residents have informally expressed similar frustrations. Responses received did not provide a clear plan for resolution, despite years of raising the same issue.

Company Response
The firm replied:
“Really sorry but given this same complaint has continued for years then I’m afraid we can comment no further. I will again pass your historic comments onto the Estate Board of Directors and I will remind you (again) that you have continually refused to meet the complaints handler Nikkie. Therefore regrettably we can do no more here—really sorry.”
In my opinion, this response does not address the core issues raised, nor does it offer a clear plan for resolution. Most importantly, it confirms the owner’s refusal to meet—a decision that, to me, reflects poor client care and a lack of accountability.

We have worked with Crown Property Management for a couple of years now and they are a pleasure to deal with. Their communications are clear and prompt and they pay their bills nicely on time!

Working with Crown Property Management

We have worked with Crown Property Management on numerous projects big and small. Understanding its not always the easiest place to be to navigate between their own clients, tenants and contractors for many complex reasons. However we have always found CPM honest, fair and open which has created a good working relationship which as a small local company we appreciate

looks like 15 reviews Crown asked to have removed

Looks like Crown has removed or asked TP to remove 15 reviews over the last year.
but suddenly in the Month of OCTOBER lots of positive reviews appear.
Strange this are they paying for these from so called freinds and staff.
