A trap for loan seekers is hidden among the information I filled out for the loan. Despite not accepting any trial membership, I was suddenly charged $19.99. Customer service claims I received an email informing me of the trial period—which is not true. I also didn't provide the code with my credit card. I do not recommend this.
When I realized today that your company had debited my account for £19.99, I emailed the company requesting a refund and cancellation of the supposed membership, which I hadn't agreed to. I explained that I hadn't received any email from the company about the 14-day trial period and requested a copy of the email. The response only stated that the email had been sent to my email address (the email and its copy are undated). Furthermore, customer service insisted that I had provided the 3-digit CVV code from the back of my bank card. This is absolutely impossible, as I would never have given the code to some random, unknown company. They refused to refund me the debited amount because the 14-day trial period had supposedly expired.

Absolute subscription trap. I’m on a very limited income, and would never knowingly sign up for a subscription that charges me £19.99 to essentially do nothing.
Edit: they have agreed to refund one of the 19.99 payments. I’ll update my review when i receive it.

It is a very good website. You get an overview on your credit score with some help to improve it. I recommend using it for a long time to really see the result.

I recently had an experience with Credit Engine and overall I found the process very simple and user-friendly. The application was clear and didn’t take long to complete, which is really important when someone needs financial help quickly. I also liked that everything was explained in a straightforward way, without complicated steps.
One thing that could make the experience even better would be more regular updates during the process, so customers always know what stage their application is at. Aside from that, the service felt professional and reliable.
Overall I think Credit Engine is a helpful service for people who need quick financial support, and with small improvements in communication it could be even better in the future.

It was easy to cancel with them after i finished with what I wanted. After cancellation , I still had access to their features for a bit longer.

Charged me 20 quid for a service I didn't want or reslise I signed up for. No human on the contact number. No email. Absolute crooks. Predatory design.
