Bad experience, but owner eventually made it right
On December 12th I ordered some plans. The money came out of my PayPal account immediately, but I never received the plans. I waited a day or two before I used their website's support link to ask where my plans were. A couple days passed and I still received nothing. I reached out again, and still received no response. I called the phone number on their website and it was disconnected. My thought was it was a scam site. I asked PayPal to give me a refund and PayPal was on top of it and did that. I found a similar website called ShedPlans. ShedPlans has good reviews on Trustpilot. CraftCamp had no reviews. I reached out to Shed Plans to tell them that CraftCamp had mimicked their website, even down the phone number from the website (which was disconnected) and are ripping people off. On December 20th, I got an email from the owner telling me that they are rebranding to CraftCamp and there were no issues and to cancel the PayPal dispute. My reply to his email was centered around the fact that I had paid for something and didn't receive it, then tried to reach out and nobody responded. I still hadn't received my plans. On December 26th, he emailed me back with an apology and included my plans. I had originally given CraftCamp 1 star, but the owner did eventually reach out to rectify the situation. I changed it to 3 stars. But the amount of time I have spent reaching out to the companies, putting in my PayPal dispute, dealing with the emails and writing my Trustpilot experience is worth way more than the $20 I originally spent on the plans. The reason for all of this is either for the company to realize they have to fix their communication and delivery deficiencies and I would love to see that happen and for them to have a prosperous business, or if they keep things the same, I want people to understand that their experience will not work out they way they thought when they purchased the plans.
