I would strongly advise against purchasing a car from Cotswold Select Autos Evesham.
The reservation fee is NON REFUNDABLE and both seller and vehicle not as portrayed on their website.
Go to there premises before parting with any money !!
Unlikely I will see my £250 reservation after the shock of what I found when visited to view .
But hopefully I can save others losing their money.

Stuart. Sorry you feel the need to leave yet another negative review on an addition platform,instead of getting in touch directly. As you have followed through with your approach, it really does seem that this is an attempt to purposefully cause reputation harm to a good honesty business based on what appears to be your own frustrations. We are not used to receiving negative feedback as you can see from our ratings, and therefore disappointing that you have taken to review platforms to display your own frustration, but also confusing as to how you believe trading standards can assist with what can only be described as you not carrying out research into a car’s features prior to reserving, and us as a business acting appropriately within our guidelines set out for all to see. This was clearly relaying to you prior to you making any decisions. After all, the car not having a specific feature is the reason for not proceeding as opposed to how you are attempting to mislead the facts in your review. We have not attempted to portray ourselves or the vehicle in a way that’s misleading and would require you to elaborate on these comments in order to attempt to understand your logic. In the interim, we receive these comments in your review as purposefully slanderous and therefore the relevant action will be taken through the relevant channels as means of resolving matters. The vehicle was displayed with a detailed video online in what can only be described as exemplary condition for the year and mileage, as well as a full list of the specification and features it had to offer. I have included a link to the video of this car for others to form their own opinion of the condition of a 2011 vehicle, as after all, condition and perception is subjective. I have also included a link to our terms and conditions so this can also be made clear to potential customers reading your review and this response. It’s also not understood why it was a shock that the vehicle did not have a certain feature you required when every opportunity was given to confirm and clarify this prior to reserving. You discovered on viewing that you had mistaken the advertised feature of an on board computer as an “idrive system” of which we would have happily clarified it wasn’t prior to purchase, if we had known this was imperative to your buying motives. We have many happy customers who use our reservation service when travelling from distance and it seems that this review looks to be the odd one out compared to many other satisfied customers leaving 5 star reviews. When reserving a car with us, the same amount of work and preparation goes into preparing a car for sale whether a customer chooses to purchase or not. It is for this reason the reservation fee is non refundable if choosing to use this service. You were made fully aware the reservation fee was non refundable prior to purchase and was also sent the link to our website that displays this clearly with the option to read and understand prior to reserving. When reserving a car we are removing a car from sale and preventing other potential customers from purchasing a particular car from us. In this instance, the car was removed from sale for just under a week and fully prepared ready to drive away to accommodate the distance being travelled, as well as your desired viewing date and time. We do not require your review as means of telling potential customers that a reservation fee placed is non refundable as we display this clearly on our website and confirm the with everybody including yourself prior to using this service. Alternatively, customers including yourself of course have the option of viewing cars in person prior to making any decisions and we offer the flexibility to suit customer’s buying habits and to accommodate the distance being travelled. We appreciate “your error” may be frustrating, however the service we have offered has in no way faltered at any stage.

I am very satisfied with the customer service we recieved
I have bought a fair few cars in my time, and some of my experiences with major dealerships have left a lot to be desired. Not so with Cotswold Select Autos. Paul is a friendly and honest man, who explains and executes the whole process efficently, manages expectations effectively, calls when he says he will and takes pride in the cars that he sells. He clearly knows his cars. My daughter is beyond happy with our new car, which is already more hers than mine, and I am very satisfied with the customer service we recieved.

Extremely honest
I can't fault Paul one bit. He was polite, professional, honest, and a good laugh throughout.
The car I bought was a delightful 2010 Skoda Octavia that had clearly been well looked after. Paul had the car serviced, fresh MOT, and even fixed a small issue with the boot struts before I came to pick it up. He also provided me with tonnes of really helpful advice including common issues that can occur in the future for the car.
The car was excellent value for money, and I believe Paul is a very honest man so would highly recommend him to anyone wanting to buy a used car.

Purchasing an Audi from Cotswold Select Autos.
I spoke to Paul at Cotswold Select Autos, who from first contact was a pleasure to deal with. I booked to go view an Audi A5. The car was well presented and a lot of car for the money. Driving it just felt right, I left and deposit and Paul explained what happens next. Paul organised a multi point check, minor service and an Mot. Correcting any little niggles found. Definitely the best car buying experience with a retailer I've had in 18yrs. Highly recommended and I wish the business well for the future.

Extremely helpful from the first phone call to driving away in our new car.
As the car was a part exchange there were a couple of inevitable minor issues but these were very quickly solved and dealt with properly.
Overall a very good buying experience and even got the pleasure of being first customers in the new premises.
