I attended the GVC at the Hook location. The venue was very nice and comfortable and the lunch provided was really tasty.
The course itself was very well structured, incredibly informative and was delivered by professional and knowledgeable staff. Our trainer, Louis, was approachable and patient and his excellent tuition ensured everyone on the course passed the theory exam. I would highly recommend COPTRZ for drone training and will be using them again in the future.

Excellent service from start to finish, primarily by Tom. Great communications throughout the repair process, from the drone being received, repair type and cost, completion of repair, and tracking for delivery back to home address.
Tom and the guys are clearly very professional and efficient. Thoroughly recommended.

I just successfully attended the RPC level 1 course at Coptrz. The training staff Luke and Louis were very friendly and more importantly very knowledgeable about the subject matter. The course included 2 hours of excellent flight instruction given by Louis where all the manoeuvres to pass the flight test were given.

All staff and trainers (we had Luke and Louis) were super approachable and helpful throughout the course delivery. The PowerPoint had mixed media which helps to keep you hooked in. You were able to ask about your own way that you use drones in your industry and they would be able to answer/help taper our qualification to our intended purposes.

I signed up to do the A2C Certificate of Compency course. The video training sessions are well paced and full of additional knowledge one only picks up when in a classroom environment. It’s great!
All the materials are provided to successfully complete the course so I look forward to getting my certificate soon.

I recently completed the A2 C of C drone qualification through Coptrz. My experience was a tale of two halves: excellent five star educational content paired with a highly frustrating and technically flawed examination process.
The strongest part of the Coptrz offering is undoubtedly the course structure. The transition from a hobbyist to a certified A2 pilot can feel daunting, but the curriculum was laid out logically.
• Content Quality: The modules were comprehensive, covering meteorology, UAS flight performance, and technical/operational risk mitigations in great detail.
• Clarity: Even the more complex legal requirements were broken down into digestible segments, making it easy to retain the information.
• Pacing: The flow of the digital learning platform felt natural, allowing for a steady progression from basic safety to advanced technical knowledge.
While the teaching was top-tier, the proctoring of the exam was very poor. This is an area where the proctors clearly need more training in the technical side of PC configuration.
My experience involved a revolving door of three different proctors, which led to several avoidable issues:
• Proctor 1: After taking remote control of my PC to "test" the equipment, they actually caused a microphone issue that wasn't there previously as verified by the proctor then needed to handed over to their tech people
• Proctor 2: While attempting to close down "system tray" apps, they left one partially closed. Instead of resolving this simple oversight, they handed my session over to their tech people.
• The Resolution: When the tech support finally stepped in, the "fix" was as simple as clicking the close button on the app the previous proctor had failed to exit properly.
It was incredibly frustrating to have my exam delayed, in total by one hour!! and my equipment disrupted by proctors who lacked very basic troubleshooting skills. For a high-stakes exam, you expect the logistics to be seamless, not a source of additional stress.
Coptrz provides an excellent foundation for drone pilots through their well-designed syllabus. You will certainly walk away feeling more competent and informed about drone regulations.
However, the exam phase is a weak link. Until the proctors receive better training on how to correctly set up and troubleshoot a candidate's PC, in my case caused by the proctors themselves! the certification process remains a hurdle of technical incompetence rather than a test of pilot knowledge.
Pros:
• High-quality, logical course structure.
• Highly informative modules.
Cons:
• Unskilled proctoring and poor technical support.
• Unnecessary delays due to basic PC configuration errors caused by the proctors.
Rating for Coptrz is five, reduced to four overall because of the proctoring aspect.

Shipping the drone went great and fast. Emailing me the DJI Care plan code was very slow and would have been missed unless I had actively requested it.
The slow delivery of the code resulted in a tedious process to get DJI to verify the drone before accepting the code and the Care plan. This is because the code must be entered within 48 hours of the drone being activated.
The code should have been sent when the product was posted away.
