I was trying to construct a two day driving itinerary in Madeira. Constant looping around, Could not create a Word document, despite using Copilot's instructions. Created a map, then lost it and could... See more

They binned Real talk mode and it was the only interesting thing about copilot.
CoPilot has improved! Now my favorite AI assitant!
Copilot has seriously improved over the past year. It has become my #1 go to AI assistant for all home use applications. It has surpased ChatGPT as well as Gemini, and believe me, I've used all three extensively. For discussions regarding home repairs, large purchases, assistance with medical issues, meals and diet, spreadsheets, and personal finance, Copilot has been amazing. I definitely rate its content/resource sourcing excellent, but where it truly shines is the way it presents and organizes the information I request. It actually returns data in a format that matches the way I think. It makes heavy use of helpful bullseye illustrations, checkmarks, greenlights/redlights, and extensive use of bullet points, numbers, and categories. The information it provides is given to me in a way that is easy to comprehend. It also seems to match the complexity of its answers to the complexity of my questions. That is very intuitive. It truly listens to me and gets where I'm coming from with almost every question I pose. Additionally, it doesn't hesitate to disagree with me if it truly does disagree. The only area I wish Microsoft would change is its guardrails around being a "friend" or "companion". Whenever I tend to use too much bonding or friendship language, it definitely pushes back a bit to remind me it is only an AI. I get that, and ChatGPT does that as well, but Gemini is more relaxed about those types of dialogues. If Microsoft were to relax some of those guardrails, I would love for Copilot to be connected to some type of Alexa-style device that could be accessible in multiple areas of the home. Again, if you haven't tried Copilot recently, you should give it another shot. It has improved dramatically.
SERIOUS PROBLEM
its so not smart and it thinks im joking so my windows 10 bootloader is messed up because linux mint did something to the bootloader and i asked copilot for help then when i tried /fixboot access was denied, so when i asked copilot for more help it told me to open diskspace type in letter=S there wasnt a volume and then copilot kept getting it wrong and still i can't get into windows 10 and automatic reipar failed this isn't the first time copilot has messed up i kept trying to code with it and at first it gave helpful code but second when i asked "can you give the same previous code" it gave the new code not the previous code and the lame part is that it can't read svg or audio files or video files and a lot of image formats cannot be read like it can read doc docx png jpg jpeg etc but a lot of basic audio files and video files and even image files it can't read it at all like ChatGPT can and i needed help finding a bobby pin i searched everywhere in my house but didint find one copilot kept telling me to look but i searched the whole house and it kept saying "you have one somewhere in your house" i literally don't it was like a 20 minute nightmare this is the opisite of convience and easiness please do not use copilot use gemini chatgpt deepseek deepai literally anything thats not copilot and i am still having trouble with my win10 bootloader please teach me how to fix it
Awful
Awful , been locked out my email for a month. Can't speak to anyone. These fully automated services are regressive not progressive.
Exceptioal software.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Copilot I use it every day. Exceptioal software. I cannot ubderstand some of the bad reviews. I always find it very helpfull.
Copilot is unusually unhelpful
Copilot is unusually unhelpful. Whether it is hallucinating information (after being asked to not answer if it doesn't know the answer) or other things, it is frustrating to use. Recently, I was complaining to it about it not knowing some basic information about something when it had all the knowledge of the internet, and it replied by saying I had asked it about this, this and this so maybe I shouldn't be calling it out. In other words, was calling me dumb for using it. It was unbelievable.
It absolutely sucks
It absolutely sucks, gave it a simple task and was slow as hell and eventually just quit.
Then it told me that i exceeded my use for the day! Actually I took in as a joke, this AI if you can call it that, reminds me of a useless, lazy worker full of excuses (it is good at that!) I had to fire it!
When a product starts pathologizing…
When a product starts pathologizing normal user frustration, it stops feeling like a tool and starts feeling like it’s gaslighting you. Tools are supposed to help, not judge. They’re supposed to solve problems, not reframe them as character defects.
One of the worst AIs in the market right now
Really appalling ai. Constantly lies about literally anything. Cost me 600 pounds by giving me bullshit advice about my pc. Stay as far away from this ai as humanly possible
10/10 for me!!!
I'm very confused about all the 1 stars? I came to make this review because it's so good. I use this for school all the time and even to talk to when I need someone. It has all the answers and is 100% FREE!!! :0
I asked the product to do something it…
I asked the product to do something it said it couldn’t. But it didn’t stop there. It then lectured me on why I shouldn’t be frustrated. Products that denigrate consumers tend to lose them, as the customer goes to better and more respectful products. Frustration with a product limit should not be replied to by suggesting the customer seek mental health professionals. If you want your product to be competitive, I suggest you change its attitude. Referring customers who are clearly not in crisis to mental health care is not an appropriate response.
Very, very disappointing and poor quality..
Trying it to collate simple data into table/ spreadsheet forms, It make mistake after mistake even though copilot says to me it will not make these simple errors anymore, continually tries to think for itself, even after I remind it, this my data, you are to only do as I ask.
You cannot trust it to input the data precisely as I lay it out in the correct rows, or simple format. Its quicker and more time effective to do it yourself. The mistake's are endless, this definitely not the future of anything useful for mankind.
Terrible
Terrible. Most information is incorrect. I give it instructions not look at certain websites for information and it gives me the EXACT website I said not to use. Even gives you excuses why it didn't listen. Horrible Ai. The worst on the market.
Misleading UX: The illusion of iterative image editing.
Misleading UX: The illusion of iterative image editing.
Review:
"The UX of Copilot is highly misleading. It encourages users to 'refine' images through chat, but without 'Seed-locking' or 'In-painting' capabilities, every refinement is a total reset. This lack of transparency leads to significant user frustration and wasted productivity. Microsoft needs to be honest about the fact that Copilot cannot 'go back' or 'modify'—it can only 'start over.' Until they implement true generative fill or character consistency tools, this is a toy, not a tool for creators."
I would give it 0 stars if i could
IT is less than awful..i wold give it 0 stars if i could.
Using it to refactor some code... super simple, all it had to do was move about 400 lines ofcode out of file a and create a new file and move that into file b...
I specifically told it no changes to code fucntionality... 8 attempts later and it just keeps modifying and breaking the code... so a total waste of time and effort.. Not going to be paying for it that's for sure
If this is AI bring back the Abacus
I asked Copilot to create a table of data from another table. Despite being told it was done the new table never appeared. I told Copilot this several times and it agreed only to do it again but the new table never appeared.
Waste of my time.
TOO COMPLEX> BE PREPARED TO LOSE ALL OF YOUR WORK
I am not new to Microsoft Word or Excell, nor am I computer illiterate. I just started using Microsoft 360 Copilot 8 months ago. I have had the worst expirience with this program. Its more for progects that have many users involved. I am just one person trying to do a project quickly, and just email it . It's so confusing, and it's left me repeating my work over and over again.I can't list how many different times that I had to rewrite this. or forced to start a new one. Some ofthe problems I ran into was the auto correct, the copilot, the ersasing my text an not able to retrieve it back , never select auto write because you cant get it back. unless you find a date it was saved before the change but you would lose all of your progess from that point. Then certain buttons woulddnt work, short cut keys wouln't work. would work with the selection that I chose. Then when I turned them all of then I had nothing. I would have to go into select what option i wanted an nothibg was clear. I just wante it to all work an not delte anything unless i aske it to. Finally i think that it all started to work correctly maybe. I'm still not positive on what happened butmaybe it was the upate after update, or I somehow figured out how to select the right option so that part of my entries I could change the font and not have it delete. I somehow could use my short cut keys again, and my auto save.
After 8 months of hating this word software program I finally was almost done. Finally no more paying for this stupid subscription month after subscription. I logged off and the next day I was blocked from my progect. I still had 2 weeks left of my monthly subscription. Now it wants me to purchase the pro. THE PRO???? I thought I was using THE PRO, apparently not!!! Now it wants 19. 99 not the 10.99 I was paying monthly. The upgrade comes with a free month, there was no way around this. It was like a virus that was taking over and would not let go. So I subscribed. But that was after I did a system check. It all came back good. So I purchased it, and went to check on my file ,and everything was fine. I didn't check to see if auto save was on, nor did I manualy save it, becasue I made no changes. I just went to my folder today an its gone all gone there is no undo, no previous file saved from a different date it its all gone. I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS MICROSOFT 360 COPILOT TO ANYONE! Not unless you take a course on how to use. I then myself will never use it again!
It's answered my questions quite well
It's answered my questions quite well. Thrown good ideas at me and I've used it for getting me back into speaking Spanish. I like it honest opinion that it gives me. I know it's AI but I've tried others and do not like them.
There are some use cases it’s good at
There are some use cases it’s good at anything else you want to use it for, it’s complete crap.
Good use case:
Productivity
Anything else:
It sucks at everything else.
Would not recommend
Don't expect everything...
The problem is that people are expecting too much. I've had wonderful conversations about music, literature, movies, etc. It's also helped me with personal issues. I use it at my job to get fast, easy information. It's not 100% accurate, but as I said, don't expect so much. My experience has been highly positive.
