Very easy to complete the form online but

Very easy to complete the form online except in picking Spain as a destination the form required a destination. The city or district of Alicante was not on the drop-down list so picked one of the locations I am visiting in the period. I hope that doesn't invalidate the policy. After checking with the Co-Op everything is fine. So the help line was quick and excellent help.

Quote process straightforward!

Found process to obtain a quote for my dog easy and straightforward and was able to complete the insurance application during same web visit. Price was extremely competitive against former insurer.

Unfair Treatment by the Coop

I am extremely disappointed with the service I’ve received from Co‑op Pet Insurance.My dog, Alfred, was taken to Vets Now on 13 May for severe vomiting, and I submitted the claim the same day. He was then admitted to our local vet, where he was treated, monitored, and diagnosed with pancreatitis. A second claim was submitted immediately. I paid both bills in full, taking out a loan to do so.Despite providing all information promptly, and despite my local vet confirming they sent the additional details requested on 1 June, Co‑op has continued to ask for more information. Each request resets their response time, and as of 9 June — 27 days later — I still have no payment.Alfred has never had pancreatitis before, so I do not understand why the claim is being delayed in this way. I have raised a complaint about the delay however the complaint team are no longer responding to me, what are you supposed to do. I have upheld my side of the agreement by paying my premiums on time. I do not feel I am being treated fairly.This experience has caused significant stress and financial strain, and it does not reflect the values I expected from the Co‑op brand

Terrible prices

My mother has been with Co Op insurance for so many years I was a child when they took it out, and im 42 now. Ive been telling my mother they taking too much and recently proved this by increasing her insurance, 1st been doubled to nearly 900 and then after a quick phone call went to 1400, after another phone call it went to over 900 again. These places really dont want to offer help just the best deal for them to take more money out your pockets. We had subsidence 16 years ago and all sorted, no issues again. But they made out on the forms we put a claim in 2023, listen up kids this is why you must check your elderly parents documentation properly because of things like this. Then they add on things thats not really wanted. Well luckily I have found a better place that offers more value and less money then these guys want. Really distressed my mother out over this, rememeber is always about keep loyal customers of a certain age happy.
