I had my shutters fitted last year I reported a problem with the bedroom shutters they came out looked at them and took photos, they said that they have ordered replacement shutters this was Oct 2018 that they came out he came out and confirmed they would order new shutter for the small bedroom window. i had to wait till 7th June 2019 before they could come out and fit the replacement shutters, i then rang them on the Friday 7th at 10am asking what time they will be there to be told that he wont be coming he rang in sick, it was then arranged with my husband they come on Monday 10th June no phone call nothing they decided to just not turn up.
These people are fine if you have no problems the aftersales service is awful , i have had to make all the contact my email and phone and then finally given 2 fitting days and they didn't turn up for either.

Very professional company, David was very helpful (and incredibly patient!) whilst deciding style/ colour. John, the fitter was a pleasure to have in the house and the shutters look amazing. Couldn’t recommend more!

This is a fantastic product and I have to say the shutters look absolutely BRILLIANT.
David (the Boss) is very approachable and on hand should you require any information or questions answered. Steve, the planner/ Surveyor, is a consummate professional. He explained the whole process from start to finish bringing with him brochures and examples of the different products available, offering his opinion, based on experience and industry knowledge, on which style of shutter would be most suitable for our style of property. We followed his advice and I have to say, he was not wrong. They are great.
Ben the fitter, is a really pleasant, hard working professional, who can’t do enough to ensure everything is as it should be, before finally packing up and leaving. He even went as far as to ensure each room was left as he originally found them.
I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this product and ‘Cool Shutters’ to survey, supply and fit.

Great quality work really well – that really recommend!

Our installer, John, has just left and I cannot explain how happy I am with our new cafe-style shutters! Let's start at the beginning...
David came out to do a survey and was chatty, professional and completely reassuring. We knew that our box bay window would look great inside but my wife was insistent that the outside look just as good. David referred to this as "kerb appeal". Not easy in a UPVC box bay as the corner posts are not very wide and we were worried that the frames would stick out over the glass and be visible from outside. David did some jiggery-pokery with the alignment of the frames (and the inclusion of T bars between the panels) and we agreed we could do something that would look good both inside and out. But that required some very precise measurement which David took care of.
We were advised that manufacture takes approximately 12 weeks but that worked well for us as we had other work that needed doing.
Our fitter, John, arrived nice and early today and advised that it would take around 2 hours to install. The product was really well packaged, in perfect condition and of exceptional quality. David's measurements were spot on and John got to work with fitting.
Our windows had these awful PVC trims around the edge that I wanted to replace with timber mouldings so John removed them for me (a time consuming job as they were welded to the frames) and temporarily refitted them for me again afterwards so that we didn't get draughts while I was sorting out the mouldings. This cost him an extra hour to do but he was absolutely cool about it as it was the right thing to do to make the widow look good.
John's attention to detail was clear to see and he made sure everything was perfectly aligned and working smoothly. He cleaned everything down afterwards to ensure it looked tip-top and checked with me along the way to make sure I was happy.
The bay window looks amazing from the inside and it definitely has "kerb appeal". Within 10 minutes of John leaving I had our neighbour opposite coming over for a nose and saying how wonderful they looked.
This service isn't cheap but you get what you pay for. We investigated DIY shutter systems before we contacted Cool Shutters and, whilst I'm sure the product is great, they can't compete when you need something a little bit bespoke or carefully planned to suit your specific needs.
Everyone I spoke to at the office while our order was being prepared was top notch and really helpful and friendly and for that reason I recommend Cool Shutters 100% and will certainly shop with them again should the need arise. Many thanks to all involved.

I am never keen on companies who insist on full payment upfront. We have used Cool Shutter twice but wouldn't use them again. We paid almost £4,000 for shutters installed 1st week September and they forgot to ship two parts from China, they wouldn't air these parts and said they need to come via ship. They missed the next shipment and we are now waiting until early 2019! Not good enough, add to this we have to call them its all very unsatisfactory. Clearly once they have you money you are powerless and they do not care.

Cool Shutters came out to give us a free review and quote for a set of shutters in our lounge. They weren't pushy at all and gave an honest opinion on what would work and the rough cost. The salesman was very knowledgeable and we decided to go with them due to their attitude and support during the quote. We did look at quite a few other companies but we just felt more trust with Cool Shutters and I'm glad we made the decision to go with them. The shutters look great and they said if we ever need them in future for anything, just to call, which is reassuring. Thank you.

These guys do work hard to explain stuff, their prices were reasonable, the shutters look good, and they were well installed. They left a nice pack of spare blades, tiny paint pots for touch up, and so on, which was particularly thoughtful.

I am still waiting on them coming back to finalise a problem with my bedroom shutters which I reported 2 days after fitment, never ring back after emails sent.
photos sent the order process was easy taking my money was easy now comes the hard parts customer service with an unhappy customer.

I have tried calling and left messages as requested no response as yet

update as per below they were coming back in on the 07/01/2019 it is now the 7th march and I am still not seen them come back to deal with my confirmed faulty shutters I have emailed them numerous times
