What started as a suspicious “cold call” ended with a very satisfactory solar installation from a refreshingly efficient company.
If I had to recommend a solar installation firm this company would be the one.

Really great communications and talked through the whole process. Quick and efficient installation with no disruption.

Installation was good, however don't expect any help after this. They only communicate via email, ignore requests for a phone conversation. And refuse to help on requests for adjustment to inverters after enquiries regarding reapplication to DNO. Which they refuse to do in our behalf. Ben has been useless in answering my queries only responding once per day via email which on a verbal communication could have been sorted immediately but has now taken over 10 days. Now they are threatening charges to adjust an inverter, which can be done remotely by TESLA. Appalling

Office staff in all the different departments were proffesional, potite, knowledgeable and without doubt the best company I have dealt with for many years, if not the best. If only all companies could be this proffesional and efficient, whilst being helpful and a real feeling of natually friendly. The installation team were superb in the way that they carried out the installation, this is hard work and should not be underestimated. A great team.
I thank everyone involved.

Efficient and the installation was perfect

I am really pleased with the process of getting solar panels and batteries installed at my property with Contact Solar.
The quote was very competitive, with lots of advice and they even beat my other best quote.
Contact Solar provide all the documents you required including MCS Certificate(required to export), DNO grid approval, NICEIC Certificate (building regs), Manuals and Schematic of system, HIES insurance, 2 years workmanship warranty.

Along with all the applications and sorting out my SEG application, they have a call to go through the inverter application and settings so you understand and can ask any questions.
I have contacted them since the install for a couple questions and they answered them the same day after reviewing the data from my inverter online.
Lastly l, the instation team were fantastic, all the work is really neat and tidy. Even consulting on the day to make sure I was happy with everything they were doing. At the end of the day when they finished, they walked around and showed me all the components, how to use the system only leaving after checking I was happy.

From initial order to installation the service provided has been superb

Not a good time of the year to install Solar however Contact Solar was on the ball, the teams managed to get it all done in the end and I was happy with the end result. Final paperwork was delivered fast and managed to get the export on line 2 weeks after install. The system is far exceeding what the original prediction was, in fact the first month (March April) I had a saving of £125 (we have 2 EV’s) so far into the April May billing period it looks like my bill will be negative and negative till probably October

easy process, very good price, local installers in Worsley were absolute pros, quality equipment, no complaints at all so far.

I had solar panels installed recently, and the installation itself went smoothly. The installation was contracted to local installers (which is the usual practice?), and completed the work on time, which I appreciated.

When I reached out for post installation support regarding pest/pigeon protection, the customer support's initial responses are unhelpful. Pigeons are a common problem with solar panels, yet the company's policy around this wasn't great. Probably they wanted to keep the installation costs low?

I was recommended a provider who can add pest protection and told to deal with this outside the installation which costs £600-£800 extra. Why cannot they do it as add-on when the scaffolding is put in place during installation is beyond my understanding?

So be prepared to pay more for this...what more to come?

I cannot speak highly enough about the service and assistance I have received from Contact Solar support team, a quick email if a problem arises and they come back to you and sort your issue.

Their response and friendly attitude is a credit to the company.

I would have no problem recommending this company to my friends and family.

I have had my solar panels and batteries for 5years now and they are the best investment i have ever made the after care you get is second to none i want to give praise to all the staff very professional polite and extremely helpful a special thank you to jack for being especially kind

The Contact Solar team were great. They fitted the solar system quickly and even went into the crawl space, under the house, to run the main cable, so it is out of sight. The installation was completed to a high standard and they left the property tidy, with no mess for me to clean up. I will certainly be recommending Contact Solar in the future.

the administrative side of the company leaves a lot to be desired, questions asked or dates requested had a tendency to be passed from one dept to another which obviously extended the time , however the fitment team were very good, that said after a few issues they did reduce the cost by £400. However now i am trying to log onto the system and the sunsynk app is a absolute nightmare, it states i am registered but then it states i am not when i request a password reset. then it locked me out for trying to much. i now have to wait till 14 april for a online helper...it is the 10th
