When something seems too good to be true it usually is. However, this wine even surpasses the expectations raised in the review. After our first tasting, we immediately ordered more!! Warning should be added; this wine is dangerously addictive

The service is excellent. I got a wrong bottle in the box Colaris had sent. The company discovered before I did, sent a mail and via Post.nl I got the correct bottle. I could keep the wrong bottle that - as you might understand - tasted still better...

I ordered 6 bottles of Luccarelli Old Vines Primitivo do Manduria 2018 and got 2019 instead. I would expect a wine seller to sell what they state

Service is as always good. The Hamersma package has not yet been tried out, but past experience has yielded pleasant and interesting surprises, providing good comparisons between "New World" and primarily French. Plenty of opportunities to try out the unknown , and good quality / price relationships

Already for more than 10 years Colaris is our favourite wine merchant. Quality and price are nicely in balance, and delivery has always been arranged in close communication. Recently some changes were made to relatively small deliveries through PostNL, which we do not favour, because it offers less flexibility. This time the wine was delivered again in the "old fashioned way" with the flexibility and personal contact we're used to. Already enjoying the beautiful wines we ordered :-)

Colaris is very special to me because of their great wines and honest sommelier advice.

But of late I notice too many emails and a disturbing promotional push from Colaris. This feels like intruding upon my relationship with Colaris.

Colaris needs to stay at some distance, distinguished and expert but offering the best customer service when called upon.

Although Domaine Père Caboche Chateauneuf du Pape 2020 is a nice wine, it tastes like a nice Cote du Rhône. So the expectations are not managed well. This wine has not the power of a Chateauneuf du Pape.
