I wouldn't recommend anyone using this company.

It is the worst company I've used in a long time, they are effectively scammers; the customer service is very poor and they take days to process transfers.

Terrible exchange!

CoinMetro has been giving me the run around for the past 27 days! Tried to withdrawal my crypto to my wallet and they stopped the withdrawal. Contacted support which said I needed address verification. Thought I was already verified but according to them I wasn’t. Sent numerous forms to get this resolved and when I thought I was good with address verification, identity verification was asked for. Sent my drivers license which was fine before but now is not acceptable. So I then sent in my passport which I am still waiting to find out if this is okay. During all this they locked me out of my account for no reason! Been dealing with customer support about every other day and it has gotten me absolutely nowhere! I have a significant amount of money on CoinMetro exchange that they won’t let me access and withdrawal! Stay away from CoinMetro! Very unprofessional shady exchange!!!

Update: Day 43-Still nothing has been done to resolve this matter! I have replied two different times to the email response with no return response. I have also reached out on other social media sites and continue dealing with customer service regularly.

Update 2: My situation has finally been resolved. My withdrawal has been put through and my account unlocked!

Customer service could improve

Edit:After reading my initial review, the CEO got in touch and resolved my situation. The standard customer service was not great, but I give credit to them for resolving things quickly once it was escalated. Kevin (CEO) clearly cares, and gave it his personal attention. The platform itself is really good - I have not had complaints about the functionality.

I have been using Coinmetro for over a year - and had not had problems until now. However, through some glitch on their system, they required me to re-verify my account (no details of mine have changed at all). I supplied all required documents, but have not been able to trade for almost 2 weeks now - with no explanation - other than "they are busy with an influx of new customers and have a backlog verifiying them". I am an existing customer, and they should be prioritising me - I am losing money as I cannot trade my positions on their platform. Their customer service is abhorrent. So beware of trading here - if things go smoothly, its fine - but the minute something goes wrong, it can be very costly for you as they have zero customer service.

Highly recommended for a variety of reasons

Awesome exchange frequently listing undervalued gems. Fully licensed and regulated. Outstanding transparency with the CEO holding weekly live Q&A sessions and top-notch customer support. Great passive-income opportunities. Their native token XCM is a bargain with 50x potential over the next year or two if you ask me. Highly recommended.

Honestly I’ve never experienced quite a level of service plus community like CoinMetro. And I’ve used all major exchanges. These guys go out of their way to help you and stay suuper active on socials on a personal level. The whole CoinMetro team dedicate their time to chatting and Helping all day long. My money has been safe and happy with CoinMetro. Plus the owner is a wealth of Investing knowledge he shares it on his platform with users constantly. It’s a unique experience at CoinMetro and is very personal. I hope it keeps up like this forever. Thanks

Game-changing platform

Our company was able to hold a capital raise via Coinmetro with there innovative solutions. We are now a well funded and excited startup well on the road to success with the help of Coinmetro and the amazing community they've grown.

We appreciate all the work and ongoing communication, it was an exhilarating journey with them and we would recommend other liked-minded startups to speak to their team to understand the services they offer.

We have continued to use the platform for some day to day operations too and our proud to soon be furthering our relationship with Coinmetro :)

Brilliant solution for our business

Fantastic service and access to some very nice products for my business.

We are able to generate passive income with company treasury, which so far covered some operational costs for our business.

I must say the customer service at…

I must say the customer service at CoinMetro is always outstanding. Their 24hr Online chat on the web site is prompt efficient and very reassuring. Any problems I have had have always been sorted out quickly with no fuss. For anyone trading crypto currency I highly recommend CoinMetro .

3 MONTHS GONE THOUSANDS STILL LOCKED IN MY COINMETRO

It’s been over a month!! I made some deposits into my account with my bank I held in my name ! when I first withdrew there was no issues then couple weeks down the line when I attempted to withdraw again it didn’t go though my accounts been locked since I’ve sent my ID and PDF file of my bank showing my statements I’ve even sent the ID and Selfi of my uncle that sent money to my account as I implied I received funds from family they made it seem as if I made a 3rd party payment like cmon now and they insisted for his ID also like fr !!!! I sent his ID and Selfi they been quite ever since I’ve worked within there terms and conditions and still I’ve been treated with such disrespect and I’m absolutely shocked at how you’ve treated me and my situation it’s clear to see I’ve been caught up in whatever extra security your doing but its cost me a months of potential profits I’m early 20s I hold and trade my crypto , as you know recently it’s been going up and down a lot no access or control over my funds is very very frustrating recently missing the chance to trade and exchange my crypto to make a profit has hugely impacted my work and I’d really really Appreciate if this could be wrapped up quickly and my funds returned thanks !!!

I’ve now spoken with compliance team and they are going to refund me £2399 even though I had over £3000 stuck in my btc account how they have managed to rob me for over £700 is absolutely crazy

Yet another update it’s been over 3months I’ve tried to make a vid call it never went to plan as I was busy working so then compliance team messaged me said they are sending me back my £2399 to my bank I was gutted it’s wasn’t the same amount of crypto I recalled having never the less a step in the right direction however 2 weeks later they are ignoring my messages it’s hard enough to work full time and constantly having to follow up with emails about my own funds to no longer be getting a response from compliance team but for the CEO Kevin to then insist on doing a video call to “talk” over things that have been clarified already is it wrong for me to just want my money sent back we are not all big corporate owning tycoons some of us are standard middle class people trying to make a honest living in this ever changing and evolving world I’ve sent them ID and selfi countless times provided countless proof of statements and still they haven’t sent me my money back over £3000 in btc they said they had to liquidated it or something for whatever reason it’s now £2399 and still then I can’t get my money back I’ve sent them my bank details and nothing has been said or done please people coinmetro is not the same crypto exchange platform they used to be before whatever malarkey started going on for them to start locking and stealing peoples accounts STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS !!!!!

Third party deposits are against our terms of service. Depositing money from an account where multiple third party deposits have been received without a clear explanation is also a flag. As per the law we are required to alert the regulator in such cases and when this happens we must wait for their response in order to act.

I do not like to freeze accounts. However in the case I do not see credible evidence to support the explanation given. If you wish to contact me please do at kevin@coinmetro.com.

Keep in mind that depositing funds from unknown parties or opening accounts that are funded by people unknown to you puts you at high risk of getting caught up in a criminal conspiracy.

Many accounts have been opened at Coinmetro by innocent users who were offered some payment for opening an account with us. BE WARNED that this is illegal.

If you have information you feel will help us and the regulator clear your account please let me know.

UPDATE: I mistyped my email as @coinmerto instead of @coinmetro, I have since corrected this.

UPDATE II: I hope to finally get on a call with you tomorrow, I see you rescheduled the one we had scheduled for today. I will follow up with compliance.

I have been scammed by an Organisation…

I have been scammed by an Organisation claiming to be working with Coinmetro - following my original post I did receive a positive correspondence from the team at Coinmetro .

To be fair to the team at CoinMetro they were very sympathetic to the issues I had experienced and whilst the bottom line I was still scammed they did everything they could possible do. My advice to anyone investing in this sector would be to make sure that you know what you are doing and follow the advice of CoinMetro - there are a lot of unscrupulous people out there trying to take advantage of a sector in its infancy.

I have learned the hard way and have been well informed by Coinmetro on the mistakes I have made - there was nothing further they could do - I just wished I had been introduced to the industry by scammers - if something sounds 'too good to be true' it actually normally is !!!

Failed my KYC and did not explain why…

Serious issue with KYC system. Teams needs to work on that . KYC does not work on iphone 12 and some other devices. KYC is failed with out reason . Approval time is very slow . My documents were genuine and i was never approved. I was approved manually.

Glad we could get you over the line Wasique. There are some issues with different native browsers and how their in browser camera plug-ins work with our app. We are pushing updates. It is not a widespread issue but is known and being looked into.

Understand that document verification is a process that is not 100% accurate and many things can cause false negatives and positives like glare, angle of image, image compression, blurriness, etc. No third party tool is perfect and we are working to make the experience the best it can be.
