Support?? Cannot reach a Liveagent!
I'm trying to reach customer support. I bought a Rewarble card for 70 euros but never received the order. I paid via Tron. I also accidentally transferred 50 euros to the same wallet and would like to get that money back.. I contacted Spectrocoin, but they told me to contact Coingate since the payments have been confirmed.
I’m now trying to reach support, but I can only talk to an AI. There’s never a live agent available. Please help!
-----------------------------------------------------------
Edit 1: Support has finally gotten back to me. I'm get a refund. I wonder how long that will take.
Refusing to return $167 despite technical possibility
I am extremely disappointed with CoinGate's final response regarding Ticket #299161. After escalating my case, their technical team confirmed the funds are there, but they are refusing to return them simply because 'integrating the network would be financially impractical' for the amount of $167
It is unacceptable for a major payment processor to keep a customer's money just because they find the manual recovery 'inconvenient'. They admitted the network is EVM-compatible, which means recovery is technically possible. Choosing to keep my funds instead of performing a manual return is unprofessional and shows a complete lack of care for their users. I expect a company of this scale to stand behind their service, regardless of the transaction size

No customer support.
the site worked fine for a while, i did a purshase of a card using crypto, sent the crypto to the correct address and i got no emails at all, i went to ask support and not one singular real person talked to me, it was just the same ai that said the same thing about waiting and about the transaction being pending. ive still had no one communicate to me about what the actual issue is.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AS A LOYAL CUSTOMER
I’ve been a coingate user for over 2 years now and have spent a huge amount of money ordering rewarble cards so it saddens me that I have to leave a 1 star review after my horrible experience… I bought a rewarble gift card and paid via SOL and the payment completed over 30 hours ago and I still haven’t received my order email. Usually it does take long but it has never took this long , I have reached out to their customer service team and received nothing but a hopeless email telling me to be patient. This has put me out of money and from the other reviews I can see that it’s not only me having these problems. It’s not bloody hard to sort this out either issue my order and an apology for taking the piss or refund my money and let me take my business elsewhere… where customers are appreciated and not conned out of money by greedy tricksters

No I purchased a gift card through CoinGate, but I am experiencing issues with my order.
The gift card is marked as “FAILED” and I have not received a valid code. It has been several days since the purchase, and the issue has still not been resolved.
According to your own policy, if the issue cannot be resolved within 1 business day, a refund or alternative should be provided. However, I have only been told to wait, without any clear solution.
I have already contacted support but have not received any proper assistance.
I expect a refund or a working gift card as soon as possible. At the moment, my experience has been very disappointing.

FINAL DISCLOSURE: The CoinGate Identity Trap & Asset Seizure
CoinGate is unlawfully holding my funds (Order #35505536). The merchant (NordVPN) officially confirmed they NEVER received the payment and rejected the order. Despite this, CoinGate refuses to return my 268.468873 TRX to the source address and is demanding sensitive ID data (KYC) for a transaction that was never even processed! This is a predatory practice and I am reporting this to the Bank of Lithuania (Lietuvos bankas) and VVTAT. Give me back my money!
UPDATE (FINAL DISCLOSURE):
After giving CoinGate a 24-hour ultimatum to refund my funds for a failed transaction, they have chosen silence. This proves their intent is not "compliance" but asset seizure. Below is the full report on their predatory practices:
THE COINGATE IDENTITY TRAP: A Global Warning to Every Crypto User
Executive Summary:
CoinGate is no longer operating as a legitimate payment processor; it has evolved into a "Data Mercenary" system. They employ a predatory, two-step entrapment strategy designed to seize either your liquid funds or your most sensitive biometric data.
Stage 1: The Strategic Liquidity Trap (Theft of Funds)
Unlike ethical processors, CoinGate allows transactions to pass through their gateway without any upfront warnings or eligibility checks. Only after the funds are confirmed on the blockchain do they "disable" the invoice. The merchant (e.g., NordVPN) receives nothing, the order fails, and CoinGate holds your funds hostage. This is a premeditated seizure of consumer assets.
Stage 2: The Identity Ransom (Theft of Privacy)
Once your funds are locked, CoinGate demands "Live ID Passport Verification" (KYC), even for micro-transactions ($30–$90).
The Deception: They claim this is for "Anti-Money Laundering" (AML). However, they refuse the safest legal option: Refund to the Source Address. Returning funds to the original wallet has ZERO AML risk.
The Real Motive: Their goal is not "Security," but Data Harvesting. They want to de-anonymize the internet. They bank on the fact that privacy-conscious users will choose to lose $50 rather than hand over their digital identity. CoinGate then pockets these "unclaimed" refunds as pure profit.
The "Sanction" Smoke Screen & Intimidation:
CoinGate weaponizes political terms like "Sanctions" as a generic scare tactic to force users into biometric surveillance. They create a "guilty until proven innocent" environment, forcing law-abiding citizens from non-sanctioned countries (like the USA, EU, or Turkey) to surrender their private passports just to reclaim small amounts of their own money. This is not "compliance"; it is a business model based on identity theft and intimidation.
Systemic Failure & Scripted Negligence:
The Robot Wall: Their support (e.g., "Larry") operates like a pre-programmed barrier. They ignore evidence from merchants who confirm the payment failure and simply repeat scripted demands.
The Ultimate Scam: Public records show that even when users provide passports, CoinGate often rejects the verification for arbitrary "internal reasons" but keeps the data. You lose either way.
Final Verdict:
CoinGate is practicing Unjust Enrichment under the guise of regulation. By holding funds for services never rendered, they are violating the EU Payment Services Directive (PSD2) and fundamental human rights to privacy.
TO THE PUBLIC: Do not use CoinGate. They are not just after your money; they are after the digital ownership of your identity.
Protect your privacy.
Boycott the trap.

Repeated Activation Failure on Swype Cards
I have purchased two Swype cards, and both initially presented the same issue. The activation process would get stuck in an endless loading loop, making it impossible to complete. The code was not being sent, and repeated attempts could potentially lead to the card being blocked, which is understandably frustrating.
I want to clarify that I am not using any VPN, proxy, or unusual configuration. I am using a normal connection, so this does not appear to be an issue on my side.
Fortunately, I was eventually able to resolve the situation and activate the card. However, the experience highlights a recurring problem that should be addressed.
Additionally, support responsiveness could be improved. When users are actively trying to resolve an issue, especially while online, timely assistance is very important. There were moments where it felt like support was not immediately available when needed.
I hope this feedback helps improve the service and prevent similar situations for other customers in the future.
I am not using any VPN, proxy, or anything unusual. I am using a normal connection, so this issue is clearly not coming from my side.
I bought this card recently, and the exact same thing is happening again. This is not a one-time mistake. It shows a serious and repeated failure on your side. You need to be far more responsible with your service and with your customers. This is not acceptable, and this is not how a serious business should operate.

Lack of response and impossibility to withdraw funds
Last year the business account disapeard from the dashboard, and I asked to put it back and to be able to withdraw the money. I have been asked the KYB which is normal for a regulated company. But it has been done in July 2025... and after 6 months, the response was:
"Thank you for your patience, and I’m sorry for the long wait.
I can confirm that I see your case regarding the XXX account. It appears that it was not fully reviewed previously, and I’ve now escalated it again to the appropriate team for further review.
Once we receive an update, we’ll get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding while this is being looked into."
I sent yesterday a formal complaint

This guys are pure scam, for your own…
This guys are pure scam, for your own good avoid anywhere you see a coingate payment gateway. They use to be ok,I made a purchase on a site via their payment gateway. When the address was sent I cross checked and even scanned the qr code so I don't hear any excuse due to past experience I had, but was I so wrong. After couple of days support replied my email, didn't ask for transaction hash just told me to contact tether they can't help me. I couldn't believe what I was hearing, what does tether have to do with a payment made through coingate payment gateway. Is crazy, just totally avoid this scammers. As is a recession they are probably scamming to make up for profit margins, I have learnt my lesson but will avoid their payment gateway from now on, will advise you do same. You guys are talking utter nonsense, is not my business if you generated wrong address is a you problem. Is basically theft you can spin it anyhow you want but that is what it is. You generated payment address I scan qr code and sent and you are telling me this waffle. You see people, they are actually intentionally stealing from people, if you like make payment through their gateway when you see it it will be your loss. They will choose if you to steal from you or not.
Update
You admit your QR code contains the contract address. As a customer, I scanned the official QR code provided on your checkout page. It is not the customer's responsibility to debug your QR code's data format or 'manually select' an address when you provide a scan-to-pay option. If your gateway provides a QR that directs funds to a contract address, your system is flawed. I followed your instructions exactly; therefore, the loss of funds is due to your faulty payment interface."

has gone crazy with verification recently
Used them as a merchant for a few years, they used to be good but in the past year they have gone crazy with verification. Want to withdraw money? Extra verification. What to continue accepting payments? Extra verification. Want to withdraw crypto? Prove that you own the wallet you're withdrawing to. No amount of documentation we were able to provide was good enough.
It's gotten so bad, they were telling us we need to hire a lawyer to help us get verified, just so we could continue using them to accept crypto payments.
The final insult came when they wouldn't let us withdraw our final account balance because we needed (you guessed it) extra verification.
Support is also extremely slow - multi week turnaround times were not uncommon.

there is no one answer...no agent no service.. the keep my money and no one care!!! its a shame to a company who works with pepole and money!
I am writing to express my extreme frustration regarding a transaction of 407 USDT made via one of your service providers. I transferred the funds using the TRX (TRC-20) network, and despite the blockchain showing that the funds have reached your wallet, I have received absolutely nothing in return.
I have been waiting for a response for over 24 hours, and the lack of communication from your side is unacceptable. This is people's hard-earned money, and I find this level of service disgraceful.
I demand that these funds be returned to my wallet immediately. Consider this a final notice: if the money is not credited or returned within the next few hours, I will be forced to take legal action against your company. I expect a resolution now."
