Interface ease of use.

I would like to express my deep dissatisfaction with this wallet service, which has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had. For several days now, I have been unable to transfer my funds, with no effective resolution provided.

Despite contacting customer support multiple times, I keep receiving the same response—asking me to wait 24 hours—without any real follow-up or meaningful action taken. The support experience has been extremely disappointing, consisting mainly of repeated promises with no actual results.

Unfortunately, this level of service reflects a serious lack of professionalism and efficiency, and it fails to meet even basic user expectations. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend using this wallet.

I've been trying to log into my account for four weeks now, but nothing works at all. I've already emailed customer service twice, but all I've received is a ticket number. The worst part is that this has happened three times in the last two years. I have several accounts with different providers, and Coinbase is definitely the worst of them all. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

Update: In response to this negative review, they wrote to me, "We have sent you a request for more information. Please respond to our request for information so we can investigate this concern further." Yeah, right! Where exactly did you send this request? I haven't received anything.

Very bad user interface experience, withdrawing money from the app is a nightmare.

Absolutely unacceptable experience. This company took my money in fiat and, without any clear justification or stated policy, refunded me in USDC instead. There is nothing on their website explaining that this is their process.

Their customer service is completely incompetent—unable to provide clear answers and shockingly unaware of basic UK regulatory bodies like the FCA. For a company operating in the UK, this is beyond concerning.

The whole situation feels mishandled and unprofessional from start to finish. I’ve now escalated the matter to the FCA.

Avoid at all costs.

Why do 45% of Coinbase users have negative, one star reviews?

My experience with Coinbase and their misbehaving app is ridiculously unnecessary. I can't withdraw funds. After the update, which you must accept, it flashes on and off when entering numerical digits. Then it tells me to withdraw the maximum. But I can't withdraw the maximum, or any amount. Some "upgrade". Right?

If you call the customer support phone number, you can't talk to anybody because they are not accepting calls.

Update 04/08/26: I talked with a representative (so called) in INDIA (of course not the published number, but a different one presented when I was on my desktop). This person took over my phone and Coinbase account. I was then informed that I could not convert/transfer USDC to cash and to my bank. Moreover, I do not recall receiving a notice about this.

The person from India then converted my entire account to Bitcoin! There was a $368 conversion fee.

I know there are fees, but this person should have disclosed it. Moreover, because of the exchange asset value differential, my total account value dropped approximately $700 -- a total of $1,000 gone without full disclosure. Did I mention that the person from India said that I would be REIMBURSED for fees? Really?

The call was recorded. Has Coinbase reviewed it? How does someone -- not an employee, in a call center -- speak for them incorrectly and get away with it?

After more than TWO HOURS, approximately one-fifth of my account holding (because of restrictions) was set up for transfer, and there is a 3-day delay for the transaction to take place. This individual said he would call me once a day over the following three days.

Did I receive a call? Absolutely not.

This is my actual experience without hyperbole.

04/11/26 reply to Coinbase: I didn't receive your email. Why is my account restricted? It appears that you will take all the money I want to put in the account, but when I want to withdraw for legitimate reasons to my bank that funded the account, I can't. I do not understand why I am being held hostage and why I again have to speak with someone in India for the third day. My last send performed by the individual in India did not go through. Moreover I was humiliated by having to produce photographs of my driver's license and then take a video scan of my face and profile to verify my identity. You are essentially treating me as a criminal when I've followed procedure and have been a good customer for years.

04/26/26: More evidence to support Coinbase's 1-star rating. I alerted Coinbase that an individual in Seneca Falls, NY is impersonating a Coinbase employee, providing a Coinbase photo ID card (name witheld) and employee number. It would be reasonable to assume that Coinbase would take this seriuosly and ask for the information. Did they ask? Did they exhibit concern? Well, what do you think? Of course not! In fact, they wrote back and said they were "closing" the communication I initiated. Wow! What hubris. My recomendation is to NOT do business with them if this is the lack of diginity and respect they exhibit to people. There are other choices.

Very good once you get the hang of it. But trust not the scams and other purveyors of fraudulent activity.

Don’t ever use coinbase it is very very hard to get a live person to talk to in the first place. And when you do it’s a horrible conversation with support without getting the situation fixed.

A very none friendly use application, always changing orders very difficult to connect with your exchange balances. Very expensive fees .
I used the wallet to buy pre launch BDAG. Every time I try to check my balance and connect the wallet with BDAG. Anew difficulty appears finally it was not responding at all while trying to do the same. When I removed the app and tried to reinstall it did not open my wallet and not accepting my 12 recovery words while I am sure they are correct don't use this wallet

You have mentioned that you need the case number but you didn't tell how should I send to you or the way to communicate with you
