I bought an iDrive 6 retrofit from the Codemybimmer crew for my 2016 328i (coming from iDrive 4 on an NBT Evo older generation). After inquiring about this from a few different shops that offer these kinds of retrofits, Codemybimmer was the most responsive, most helpful and best priced of them all. I love my iDrive 6 system with full screen CarPlay and updated navigation, it has completely changed my car's tech for the better and made playing music from my iPhone so much more stable, and phone calls clearer. I would recommend Steve & the team to anyone looking for any coding, upgrades, retrofits, etc., not even were they helpful, but the day my system was delivered Steve emailed me within an hour with a follow up and detailed instructions.

codemybimmer was fast and professional, I would recommend them to anyone who wanted to upgrade their firmware or code the headunit to any requirement you may need.

Amazing experience start to finish...
I purchased the ID6 head unit for my 2016 328i xDrive. Shipping was insanely fast. It was shipped on a Monday and sure enough on my doorstep the very next day. Installation was a breeze (even if you're a first- timer). Due to some other modifications I've done in the past, most notably the 6WB digital instrument cluster, some additional coding was necessary. To prepare for such things, Steve includes the adapter to remote connect should he need to make any changes. He was available by phone and email even at night. I have to say the total experience was a breeze. The customer service is 2nd to none. And this upgrade is beyond necessary. Other companies offering it require a coding session to remote but not Codemybimmer. Plug and play installation is the only way to do this. If it wasn't for the other modifications I've personally made it wouldn't have required any remote coding. If you're serious about this upgrade, trust me, only purchase through these guys.
