Cloudflare is on a mission to help build a better Internet. Today the company runs one of the world’s largest networks that powers more than 10 trillion requests per month, which is nearly 10 percent of all Internet requests for more than 2.5 billion people worldwide. Cloudflare protects and accelerates any Internet application online without adding hardware, installing software, or changing a line of code. Internet properties powered by Cloudflare have all traffic routed through its intelligent global network, which gets smarter with each new site added. As a result, they see significant improvement in performance and a decrease in spam and other attacks.

i hate when i see that logo pop up asking me to identify that i am human...it sits there and spins and spins and spins and spins and then doesn't let me into my bank, credit card, or website i need to reach... it is GARBAGE...i wish it would go away and save us alllll some time in our lives...
Cloudflare stole my money
Misleading advertising about Cloudflare Images made me subscribe, I realized a minute later that they don't support automatic optimizations so I asked for a refund as I had never used the service not even once. I sent my request like 2 minutes after payment. Cloudflare refused to refund and stole my money for a service I didn't use. They just don't care about customers.

The worst customer service I have ever…
The worst customer service I have ever seen. We pay for Pro as that is the only way to get ticket support, and my ticket has been unanswered for 54 days so far. EDIT now 126 days and NO REPLY
They do not care at all about their customers....... I have cancelled the Pro subscription, and there is no way I would ever pay for a service from Cloudflare again.
Useless, timewasting load of rubbish
Every time I try to log in to Asda (and other sites) Cloudflare either blocks me or says there is an error. I then have to use a cleaner to clean everything. This logs me out of all sites. It's a total pain and needs sorting. It is useless
getting really sick and tired of sites…
getting really sick and tired of sites I need to utilize for my business getting blocked by their forbidden error code. In a world of constantly having to verify who you are, there is really no excuse for this lack of usability. Any company utilizing cloudflare really needs to think twice before allowing this company to meddle with your hosting.
I’ve been with Cloudflare for many…
I’ve been with Cloudflare for many years and honestly, the services themselves are great, if you’re an engineer and know how to set things up, it’s super powerful and does the job. And let's not forget it's cheap if not free.
But support? Basically doesn’t exist. Free or paid, it’s all the same. You’re pretty much on your own. Amazing tech, terrible support.
Cloudflare is so broken, they cannot even take problem reports!
I am not a customer of CloudFlare but have been trying to access sites "protected" by CloudFlare. I would strongly recommend that no one use this service! When I encounter it, I see: "Verifying you are human. This may take a few seconds", but it actually takes many many minutes. I have timed well over an hour when I have I persisted long enough to reach the "protected" page. Moreover, clicking a link to another page on the same site often puts me back into that "Verifying you are human" delay. Since CloudFlare is itself protected by CloudFlare, I am unable to find a way to left them know that this service is so badly broken! On the other hand, I see questions attesting to its lack of performance on many other community sites.
Want to loose customers?
To any website owner/business who is considering using cloudflare, I will not visit your website/webshop if I get the "are you human" popup, and as you see from the rest of these reviews there is a huge number of other potential customers who are annoyed by it as well. Choose wisely, drop cloudflare!
Cloudflare support is nonexistent
Cloudflare is widely regarded for site performance and bot mitigation, but my experience with their customer support has been challenging. Without the highest-tier plan, meaningful support was difficult to obtain. During a recent incident, multiple MX and TXT records were removed from my DNS, which took my email offline for several days. Despite repeated attempts, I couldn’t get timely assistance to resolve the issue.
For highly technical teams that can self-diagnose and implement fixes, the platform’s capabilities may be a strong fit. However, if you anticipate needing responsive, hands-on support, be aware that access appears limited on lower plans. Unfortunately, in trying to improve my site’s speed and security, I incurred significant business losses due to the outage. While Cloudflare remains an important part of my stack, the support experience was not aligned with our needs.
Cant log into my OSRS account
Cant log into my OSRS account. They prevent me from reacting on their instagram posts and i can't chat them. Bad communication so 1 star for you SIT DOWN
"Verify you are human" everywhere.
Cloudflare is one of the worst websites ever, with the poorest protection imaginable. Regardless of the website I visit, an annoying little pop-up window appears and tells me to verify that I'm human. The worst part of this so-called system is that it will constantly haunt me and force me to verify that I am human. No matter how many times I click that button, it keeps pestering me to repeat the verification procedure. This "protection" is spreading like a virus. I cannot visit any website without seeing the annoying pop-up window that keeps forcing me to repeat the verification process. How many times must I click this stupid button?
There are even moments when it takes forever to verify you. To reset the procedure, I must close the window and clear cookies and cache. This annoying, endless loop has gotten out of control. The saddest aspect of this system is that it's flawed and prone to hacking. In July 2020, Cloudflare experienced a security incident where hackers exploited their system to redirect users to malicious websites, according to Wikipedia. Cloudflare is the worst system that should be banned and shut down because it behaves like malware. It's flawed, awful, and unreliable. Who, with two brain cells, would use this anyway when you have better protection systems that are more reliable? Who? Cloudflare is horrible!
Good features, poor support
The service works, but support is slow to respond and it's hard to get real help when something goes wrong.
Unethical autorenew policy
Most ethical companies will send an email a week or two ahead of time to tell customers that a service will auto-renew. Not Cloudflare though. They will only tell you once your credit card has been charged, and then they offer no option for a refund even if you tell them the day afterwards that you didn't want to auto-renew. They probably make a little extra money this way, but they will lose lots of customers this way. There are many other better services out there besides this one.
Good Riddance Cloudflare
I want to give this a 0-star review, but it won't let me, so I'll stick to one star. First of all, I just bought a MacBook today and tried to open up a site I use literally every single day. All of a sudden, I get blocked from said site, and it said that Cloudflare "took steps" to block this because of some legal dispute in the UK. I live in New York. I do not have a Cloudflare account, nor have I ever heard of it before. I've spent the last 45 minutes trying to get rid of this god awful service, and now, my website chooses when it wants to work and when it wants to be blocked by Cloudflare. Please stop interfering with devices that are not even registered to you. Let me live in peace. I'll never live as happily as I did before Cloudflare forced itself into my life.
Killed 500k bot GETs per day within hours of signing up
Due to the majority of recent reviews being negative, I did in fact sign up for Sucuri instead, but that was a huge mistake, as after 5 days I had to request a refund as nothing worked from the get-go.
During these days the bot storm escalated exponentially, and during sign-up around 500k GETs bombarded my site.
Yet with Cloudflare everything worked:
Sign up process
Activating firewall, rules, and stopping the enormous bot storm that worsened during my days waiting for Sucuri to deliver.
Well within 24 hours of signing up and changing NS and DNS records, my site was 100% rid of the bot storm!
From my site becoming completely unresponsive during my days with Sucuri, Cloudflare was able to fully block the bot storm within hours! If I had chosen Cloudflare from he start my site would never had a second of down time or unresponsiveness.
It does not protect against robots
It does not protect against robots, but rather makes the user stay longer.
