Cloudflare blocks access to many…

Cloudflare blocks access to many websites and loses their owners potential custom.
I have got to the point that if I get blocked by Cloudflare I add the target site to my growing list of "Bad Sites" because no matter what you do Cloudflare will keep kicking you out. I have found a way around it that works occasionally but in truth, I cannot be bothered.
If you get blocked by Cloudflare the best idea is to vote with your feet (or fingers) their clients will eventually get the message.

Cloudflare is blocking every financial…

Cloudflare is blocking every financial transaction I try to make. It's blocked all my credit cards from three banks, all my debit cards, all my bank accounts, all my stock portfolio accounts, and soon I will have no phone, no food, no fuel, and a place to live. All because I can't pay my bills or use credit cards to pay or buy anything. Somewhere in there algorithm they decided that none of my account numbers are valid numbers. All the banks do is send me new cards but cloudflare blocks those too. The banks won't talk to cloudflare on my behalf, and the merchants won't, and cloudflare won't talk to me. So I've essentially been digitally closed down and it may cost me my life.

I never sought conflict—only clarity

I never sought conflict—only clarity. But Cloudflare has repeatedly forced me into battles I did not choose.
As a sovereign steward of my domain, I submitted a registrar transfer request for it, expecting professionalism and protocol. Instead, I encountered silence, misdirection, and a disturbing fracture in identity management.
Despite updating my account to reflect my verified Mail Address, Cloudflare’s support system continued to reference an outdated Gmail username/email —displayed within the very case thread meant to resolve my transfer. Their “Edit” button was a mirage, offering no real control-just a vision of it. Their DNSSEC removal process took ages, was obstructive, and the EPP code—required for transfer—was withheld without explanation.
This isn’t just poor support. It’s systemic negligence.
My experience with Cloudflare during my time on Rocket.net was equally troubling. Their caching and DNS behaviour caused inexplicable delays and misrouting, a DNS record I never placed myself and support was slow to acknowledge or resolve the issues.
I’ve submitted screenshots, documented every step, and even filed formal complaints. But the deeper issue remains: Cloudflare presents itself as a guardian of infrastructure, yet fails to honour the most basic tenets of identity integrity and registrar transparency.
I write this not just for myself, but for others who may be caught in the same silent fracture. If you value sovereignty, clarity, and responsive support—look elsewhere.

Cloudflare sucks big time

Cloudflare sucks big time, I can not understand why any one use it.
The websites using cloudflare loose visitors and customer.
If you are located in China you have to prove that you are huma, it can take many clicks, and many times it does not get approved, total waste of time, if it gets approved can take minutes and not seconds.

Now every time I want a website and cloudflare come up to prove I'm a human I just skip this website

Clodeflare is not in a good position to replace CAPTCHAs

To be honest, I can not confirm if the long time the verification takes is due to an option provided to the websites using their service or to something wrong with the service they provide.
Yet, it seems to me that they are facing a serious technical problem.
I came to this conclusion because of the following:
1. When it takes a long time - sometimes more than a minute - they put the following message: " Stuck here? Send Feedback".
2. When testing their own Free to use "Turnstile Free" it took over 30 seconds for verification.
On the other hand, almost all websites that I visit and find them using Cloudflare verification I get stuck for between 30 to 60 seconds.

I Would Give Them Zero Stars

I would give them zero stars, or negative five. We see CloudFlare "verify" users accessing various websites, but when it comes to reporting SPAM to them from SPAMmers and phishers using THEIR servers to commit these heinous acts, it's a wall of silence. They are guilty as the criminals they host. I hope they go bankrupt and then to hell!

Terrible billing practices – invoiced for over a year after cancellation

I honestly cannot believe how bad my experience with Cloudflare has been. I cancelled my subscription back in October 2024 and completely stopped using the R2 Data Storage service. Despite this, they continue to send me invoices every single month for small amounts. Then, after a few months, they merge those little charges into a chargeable bill, as if I’ve been using the service all along.

I reached out to their customer service last April and asked why I'm being charged even though I canceled the service a long time ago, but they responded with "I recommend checking your account balance and paying any outstanding charges".

The invoices kept coming, month after month. Fast forward to now, for this month I have a “due amount”, I have contacted their CS again and they asked me again to PAY. Why should I pay for a service I cancelled nearly a year ago!

This is beyond frustrating and feels like a deliberate scammy practice. How can a company keep invoicing someone who has already cancelled their subscription and then demand payment for charges that should never have existed in the first place? Their customer support has been completely useless, showing zero accountability or willingness to resolve the problem.

I’ve used plenty of online services before, and this is hands down one of the worst billing experiences I’ve ever had. If you value your time, money, and sanity, be extremely cautious with Cloudflare.

Wow what a company

Wow what a company. purchased a 12 month subscription and within a couple of hours estabolished that the product wasnt suitable for us. after contacting cloudfare it took weeks for someone to get someone to respond. After finally getting a repsonse that told me that refunds were not possible. Just Wow, nil use of the product (not suitable) and they want do either a full or partial refund

Cloudflare is really bad

Cloudflare is really bad, I regret getting my domain names with them, I have been having so many problems and their support is unavailable, cloudflare causes so many problems and good luck getting your site ranked on google. Also cloudflare hides user feedback by tactics like limiting comments on their social media pages because they know how frustrated their customers are but instead of facing the problems they hide it and continue to manipulate users.

Cloudflare is a full-featured provider…

Cloudflare is a full-featured provider that offers incredible value, even to free users—provided you take the time to configure it properly. I’m not an expert in DNS management, but with the help of an AI assistant, I was able to move and configure two domains at Cloudflare to handle both website hosting and email services. Compared to my previous web hosting company, Cloudflare operates on a completely different level. The experience has been seamless, reliable, and powerful. I truly couldn’t be happier.

Failed to stop basic attack - should have known better

We moved to cloudflare from sucuri with the aim of improving a couple of key aspects around caching. We had gone for the business package to get the WAF and caching functionality Over the first week or so of use we saw a gradual slow down on the site as it got busier and busier. Last thursday that turned into a full on attack. A simple attack, http only but firing filters to cause heavy db usage.

Cloudflare failed to even register anything unusual despite an increase from ~low hundreds of users per hour to 5-10k per hour, most from about 3 ip addresses. I tried to contact them as we were under attack. The support form looked very salesy. When they finally called back they said that the business service (~$250 per month) does not have any kind of support. I needed to upgrade to enterprise for $2k+ per month for them to even look. But in the meantime we could switch on 'under attack mode'.

So we moved back to sucuri. Much cheaper and as soon as the DNS updated, sucuri reported you are under attack and blocked it. We actually had this in march where out of nowhere we started getting hit hard slowing to site to unusable. At that time we used cloudflare but through our hosting company. we blamed the hoster at the time but I can see now that cloudflare I assume made a change that essentially stopped their waf doing anything useful.

The other interesting observation I (and others on here have) made is the number of sites with cloudflare with human verification needed. Most are large companies who you can only assume are on enterprise, but still they need to constantly be in under attack mode. That says it all, even if you are paying through the nose the cloudflare toolset is not going to stop attacks.

So save your money, move to a different service that works. We have cancelled and back to Sucuri. Not as fancy a UI, but it works.
