When Covid cancelled our event…
When Covid cancelled our live annual conference and trade show we had to pivot like everyone else. I already had an event app for awards, call for presentations and registration but needed a streaming service that could pretty much do the impossible (as i was told what I was planning had never been done before). So, after a lot of research and trials, we opted for ClickMeeting. Despite the "lousy" reviews about lack of customer service - I felt it was user friendly, the tutorials were very comprehensive and the capabilities were more robust offering pretty much everything we wanted. Now, we aren't done our multi week event yet but we are on track to a pretty perfect execution - every issue has been user error or confusion. The response for tech support or help or any kind of inquiry has been faster than anticipated, with follow up and real people (FANTASTIC even compared to local service providers) so do not believe any negative reviews about lack of customer service. Three things so far re the platform -1) would be good to be able to do custom presenter backgrounds 2) would be nice if it didn't strip animations from ppt and 3) it has a tendency to mess up ppt formatting so a triple check is highly recommended. OVERALL I highly recommend this platform.

I like the power of clickmeeting but…
I like the power of clickmeeting but find the Ux cumbersome and challenging to use. There has to be a better way to edit presenters and co-hosts in the event details window. I hope in the next release they go to a KISS method for Cx and Ux.

Solid webinar software with good recording options
We've had a generally good experience with ClickMeeting. As webinar software, it's solid and dependable. UI is good and easy to navigate. We've had a few issues with delegates joining, but these are due to our choice of security.
I feel that the customisation options on signup/confirmation emails could be better.
Recordings, and options for replaying recorded webinars, were our reason for choosing ClickMeeting over other, more expensive competitors. We haven't had many issues to speak of, but if using for sales webinars you might want something that produces slightly slicker-looking joining emails, etc.

In general, Clickmeeting is a competent webinar platform. The UI is quirky and requires a lot of duplicated effort (for example, the presenter info must be set in three separate places (registration page, agenda, and email template).
The underlying tech is brittle, unstable, and old. Over a period of a year, we hosed sessions numbering in the 100s and had several major issues with the platform crashing, presenters getting locked out, sessions hanging, attendees unable to see or hear etc. It just wasn't reliable.
Also, the camera feed is low res by modern standards. 1080p is the minimum expectation these days.
Despite paying close to $1000/mo for this service, I'm also disappointed on their insistence to watermark recordings.
Overall we were disappointed and cannot recommend this platform in good conscience.

Watermark recordings are possible so that they are not visible, then please contact our sales department. We also offer "white label" solutions which we recommend to demanding customers.
During months March-May we had incredibly increased traffic and the infrastructure as well as clients' internet connections were very heavily loaded, sometimes overloaded, and then technical problems could arise. We apologize for the inconvenience. We have expanded our infrastructure and the situation is now stable.
Great for Webinar Beginners
ClickMeeting is a great platform if you're new to hosting webinars. It has a good amount of custom settings, without so many that it's overwhelming. After COVID, it's clear that the team is working hard to make improvements. Some items still need to be addressed though, like determination of which fields are required for registration. (ex: "Name" and then "Last Name" is confusing for many registrants)

It's true, it's easy to get started with ClickMeeting :) A lot of options are because the tool is not only for webinars but also for web conferencing, online meetings.
We are in constant development and we introduce new improvements every now and then (meeting for 25 cameras, an easier way of desktop sharing, a new payment method, a new version of the mobile application, etc.). Thank you for your suggestion to improve the name of the fields required for registration.

Clickmeeting is the ONLY webinar or online meeting software that allows you to record and store both types of communications ~ to be used repeatedly over an unlimited amount of time! Amazingly easy to learn and implement! I love it and will continue to use this for seamless, trouble free communication software as it is a very high level, low cost and secure product.

There are two features misssing. Sharings screen with sound (it's really time-consuming uploading everything) and folders. If I had the possibility of putting the uploaded contents in folders it would be easier to use. During lessons I waste time on finding things I want to use.

Sharing folders - we recommend entering the room earlier, clicking "Prepare", entering the "Presentation" tab and selecting all the files we will use during the event, then saving the room state via "Settings >> Save" in the left panel and exit the room. When you enter the room for the second time (at the time of the event) you have everything written down and you are not looking for it during the event.
Screen sharing with sound - we recommend uploading the movie / audio file separately and playing it at the right moment of the presentation.

The platform is unstable at best. We've been plagued with problems since the get go.
Over 100 events and counting. Sometime it works, sometimes it doesn't. For the price it's unacceptable to simply "roll the dice" and pray the platform is working today.

The case is complex. Some problems arise because of wi-fi connection and poor data transfer (image and sound fading, time shifts, etc.).
We have been conducting intensive product development since the coronavirus pandemic and sometimes there are technical problems (e.g. data migration on servers, cleaning of repositories, testing of new functionalities, etc.). Often, the most problems are reported to us between 10am and 12pm, when we observe the highest volume of traffic and customer activity.
The problems affect the entire remote work industry, not just ClickMeeting itself. We apologize for the inconvenience and please report any matter to support@clickmeeting.com. We will help solve problems in all situations.
Just ok..
I signed up for one month at £25 and was billed £30, apparently VAT was added but it was not clear. Next I tried to change the name of the account and wanted to bill me £7 to change the name. Turned off, I cancelled within an hour of signing up. Their initial stance was that they refused to issue a refund because they are not obligated to. Later on, I got the refund.
The technology itself is ok. Don't like that their Logo was loudly on display during the call, especially if I am paying for it.
UPDATE: They ended up refunding me in full.
