It gets 5 star for manners but too many times you get this sort of thing this is an actual quote: Honest answers to both. Why I stopped after Chapter 5: I shouldn't have. I presented the file... See more

This isn't a bug — it's a pattern.
I paid for Claude Pro. first of all the credits are never enough. Most times when I ask for something simple — like a PDF — the AI generates code instead, stops mid‑response, and burns my credits. Then I have to restart, which wastes even more credits. It's a vicious cycle where Claude literally charges me for failing to do what I asked.
Support ticket #215474063691980 went nowhere. They admitted the system isn't working as intended but did nothing to refund my wasted credits.
This isn't a bug — it's a pattern. You pay, you get half‑finished outputs, you lose credits, you ask again, you lose more. Feels like theft. Completely unacceptable for a paid service.
Avoid until they fix this and compensate users fairly.
Best AI I know Myself, but...
So I've used claude.ai for about 6 months. It doesn't disappoint — it codes perfectly and is great when you master prompting, but...
There are two downsides. One applies to the free plan
and one to Pro.
When using the free plan, you hit a very strict usage limit. It usually jumps in after 20–40 minutes of use (with some gaps and coding sessions), which can be really annoying. I ended up just using multiple accounts, and that seemed to do the job.
What about Pro?
When using Pro, you really notice the difference. You get a much larger context window in chats, and it actually feels worth the money — until Claude Code enters the picture. Four prompts and you're waiting four hours. Personally, I wouldn't spend my money on Claude solely because of Claude Code. You're better off just using the free version of Claude.
Should you buy Pro?
It depends. If you just want a solid chatbot that gets the job done, then no. I'd only recommend Claude Pro if you're trying to start a small business or want a lot of coding fun.
What about Claude Max?
Two words: Full-Stack Developer. Business Owner. Only buy Claude Max if you're building something big or you're a full-stack developer. It's not worth it for the average person.
If You're Really Interested in Claude:
Anthropic really cooked with this AI. I'm not trying to glaze too much, but it's genuinely good. I currently have Pro, and it's worth the money — as long as I stay away from Claude Code.
Anyway, that was my full and honest review of Claude. It works, it's good, but it has its limitations. 8/10.
Claude Max gift code redeemed, invoice issued, but no Max access
I redeemed a Claude Max gift code on April 6, 2026. Anthropic’s own billing system generated a paid $0.00 invoice showing “Max plan 5x: Apr 6 – May 6, 2026” with a $100.00 charge fully covered by a 100% gift discount.
Despite this, the Max entitlement was not applied to my account. My account showed Free/Pro instead of the Claude Max access confirmed by the invoice.
I contacted support, but the issue has not been resolved. The original support request has been pending since April 13. Support request ID: 215474059747377.
Even though the support flow says the case is being transferred to a human support agent, I still have not received a substantive human response or resolution. The issue keeps being routed through generic billing/refund logic, while the actual problem is a subscription entitlement failure: the gift-code redemption was processed and invoiced, but the service access was not provided.
To continue working, I had to purchase a Pro subscription separately, even though the Max plan had already been confirmed by Anthropic’s billing record.
This is extremely frustrating because the evidence is straightforward: the invoice confirms Claude Max for Apr 6 - May 6, 2026, but the account does not have Max access.
For identification: this relates to a Claude Max gift-code redemption on April 6, 2026, support request ID 215474059747377, and one of the related invoices ending in 0023. I am not posting my full account email, full gift code, or full billing details publicly for security reasons, but I can provide all details privately to Anthropic support.
I will update this review if Anthropic manually restores the Max access shown on the invoice.
Pathetic
Pathetic, specially when you download the free version of sonet. Its almost like breaking the promise, if you cannot deliver to the promise of free use, then dont wrongly advertise. You stand exposed.
Random ban
I signed up, which was a hassle enough as is. Then, a day or so later, i get an email saying I'm banned...for no reason. I hadn't even used Claude once at that point. Apparently, "An internal investigation of suspicious signals associated with your account indicates a violation of our Usage Policy. As a result, we have revoked your access to Claude." There was no explanation. Shit app
Extremely frustrating experience with…
Extremely frustrating experience with Claude support and API billing.
I purchased API Console usage credits multiple times, including €47.05 on Apr 23, 2026 and €6.15 on Apr 20, 2026. The payments showed as paid, but the credits were not available or usable in my account.
When I contacted support, I was repeatedly given the same generic policy response that API credits are generally non-refundable. The issue was not that I changed my mind — I paid for credits that were not made available. Despite explaining this clearly, support could not provide a ticket number, escalation route, billing contact, or confirmation that the issue had actually been submitted for review.
The whole experience felt like being stuck in an AI support loop with no human accountability. If a company takes payment for credits, those credits should either work or be refunded. Very poor customer support and a frustrating billing experience.

I swear i hit the limit after 9 prompts (No coding no big stuffs just advices) WTF
Buyer beware
I sent TWO prompts that uses a 0.2mb file and needed to calculate some numbers using basic arithmetic and went from 0% usage to 100% usage. No coding, no huge data, no big tasks. Just addition, multiplication and to document this as a reference. Absurd. It's like I'm on a free plan. 100% usage in 5 minutes. Forget using Claude Pro as anything else than a social bot.

Claude is not able to synchronize Web account and Iphone account but ask for payment both places, and the support is ridiculous bad. No help
Useless - Will never be your customer again
Never completes even one prompt fully (context:I asked for a simple readme file and instructions document today of a project i worked on earlier.) and hits with you have "Usage limit reached ∙ Resets 1:40 PM ∙ limits shared with Claude Code" and I have Pro plan and prompts me to upgrade every time, (I have proofs of this BS) and in general the AI is made to be greedy ASF. Not transparent about usage, its just a Blackbox until it lets you know. I think once you become a pro account holder it just gets greedier to make you pay more. Even if you use a single model you get charged for all models. The same with claude design. Overall Codex is better than Claude AI, I regret upgrading to Pro plan or even choosing claude because it sucks! I can upload Screenshots if the place lets me.

Congratulations on destroying your whole company with usage limits based on a broken algorithm. You literally get a bug and no answer with 50% usage during one prompt. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY :)
I am a small business owner and paying…
I am a small business owner and paying Claude subscriber for over six months. During that time Claude gave me broken solutions repeatedly, my server infrastructure failed over and over, and I was never able to get a working setup running for my business. This cost me thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours. I contacted customer service multiple times. I was transferred to a human agent. Nobody ever responded. Not once. Anthropic has now publicly admitted in their own blog post that Claude Code had multiple bugs during this exact period — degraded reasoning, memory loss mid-session, and code quality drops — all of which match exactly what I experienced. They knew about these problems for months while I was paying for a broken service. A reset of usage limits does not come close to making up for the damage done to my business. If you are a small business owner considering this platform, understand that when things go wrong — and they will — you are on your own. There is no real customer support. There is no accountability. There is only a blog post after the fact. Conversation ID: 215474042322374

I’m surprised to see a lot of bad reviews about Claude. Claude has been outstanding for me, I’ll go as far as saying they are one of the best AI companies out there. They make the difficult look easy. Is it coding. Building a website or running a company. Claude is exceptionally good. The only downside is hitting usage limit.

Suspended my account because I asked them what phone was better nothing 3a or honor 400 pro and asked about downloading my videos and playback not working on my nothing then next minute account suspended
Absolutely Criminal!
Absolutely Criminal!
32% of my session tokens and 2% of my weekly allowances used saying to Claude "Are you ready to work now?"
Anthropic has gone form being market leaders with Opus to being nothing short of a bait and switch SCAM operation that I am reporting to trading standards! This insane token usage renders Claude unusable for nay pourposes at all! Anthropic needs to be taken down and banned form trading! SCAM AI company!
Usage limits are ridiculous even on pro!
I had Claude free account and it worked great so I upgraded to Pro and since then it's gone down hill!
I get usage limits twice a day despite only using it a couple of times and making sure to use sonnet 4.5.
The last straw was when I asked a simple question after a usage limit and it thought about it before popping up with a brand new usage message.
I've read online this is common since April (wish I knew) and I've tried reaching out for Claude support but there isn't any but an .ai which doesn't work!
Don't invest you're money.
2/3 prompts is all what you can get on Claude Code Pro, then you are blocked
After two or three simple prompts and tasks to do, I hit the limits and have to wait for almost five hours.
That's not what you expect when you pay for a pro subscription. Claude Pro is useless, free versions of GPT/Gemini have more usage.
