This is my first investment which I was skeptical at first about so I done my research. Nikki from Citygate answered any questions I had and there was no pressure to invest! My first payment was paid on time and will try to get another unit asap!

Nikki has been a pleasure to work with, put my mind at ease after my initial apprehension, and always quick to respond to any queries I had.

As it is one of my first investments like this I would have liked a little more updates throughout the process. Perhaps this is a testiment to their success and how busy they are. However, I received my payment the other day so I can't complain.

All in all they felt like a solid company to work with, and I will be investing with them again in the near future.

Sammy was amazing from the beginning of the process to the final step. I was a tad nervous about investing but he was always there to respond to any questions I had (no matter how naive the questions were), which was quite reassuring.

Looking forward to my first payment in October and to much more partnerships with Sammy and Citygate.

The people working for Citygate are very transparent and thorough. They provided excellent advice as a first-time investor in this joint venture. I was not forced into making a decision; they did advise me to do my research about Citygate and the property investment market before making a decision. Through due diligence, I was able to conclude that this is the property investment company I want to do business with due to its growing reputation not just nationally but emerging globally as well. This is backed by the government. It's a great time to be involved in investing in social housing. More importantly for me, this is a partnership where I can learn more about investment properties in the future with people who have integrity. Many thanks to Ben and especially to Sami Jathol, who has been amazing and honest.

I dealt with Nikki from Citygate. At first I was sceptical but Nikki and Ben explained in detail and I made an investment in 2 units in May 2024. I was a little concerned that after payment I never heard from anyone again. I assumed that a account manager would reach out in the 3 month period but nobody did. I was anxious to receive my first payment was on 15.7.2024. The day arrived and no funds. I contacted Eden the office manager and she informed me that it will be done by end of business. I then reached out to Nikki and she immediately sorted that with the office and I received the funds. I will be looking at investing in another unit with Citygate in the future. Nikki is a pleasure to deal with and I am happy I chose to invest with Citygate

We met Ben when we visited property exhibition at Excel earlier this year. Attended his presentation and had he sent their brochure via WhatsApp straight away. We then booked zoom call with him to clarify several questions we had. Ben was very polite and knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We booked face to face appointment with him in May 2024. He went through the presentation and answered all the queries we had. He made sure we were happy to go ahead without any doubts. Citigate had moved their office and he had invited us to their launch event on 21/6/24. It was really good to meet other investors and all Citigate staff. They had a presentation where they updated how Citigate is progressing fast and have won an award.
Updated on their progress in compliance.
We are looking forward to our 1st payment in August 2024. We are very happy with Citigate and Ben’s professionalism.

Dealt with Micheal Brailsford at citygate he helped me on a matter, I found Michael easy to deal with, gave through explanations throughout, and his communications were second to none.

Dear brothers and sisters, fellow Muslims, I have been speaking closely with the legal partner who issued a certificate for Citygate Housing (it is on their investments tab). His name is Muhammad Najib Rahman.

After conversations with Mr Najib, he has confirmed that the investment opportunity that Citygate Housing is offering, with fixed returns, is not Sharia compliant.

Allah is my witness, I have all this in writing in emails and I was hoping the company would remove the certificate and stop misleading our Muslim brothers and sisters who want to invest in a halal way.

May Allah protect us from these kind of transactions, ameen.

To the company, please remove the certificate from your page and to the Muslims working there, please stop supporting these haram transactions. Our rizq is with Allah, we can make money the halal way.

As this situation is harming our fellow Muslims, it is a duty on me as a Muslim to warn about this.

For those seeking evidence, please see the google review I put up. I gave the company some time to rectify this but they have not responded or tried to make any changes, hence the review.

Added a listing on our website, used someone else's bank card to make the payment and then filed a chargeback request after we'd provided the service. I emailed them to ask for an explanation and try to resolve the situation, but they didn't respond. Very dodgy and dishonest!

I've looked at the property sector as a solid investment sector for a long time. I've tried buy to let an HMO's but with the ever changing rules and regulations - it became less and less viable to get my money working for me. After understanding the government incentives behind social housing.... it just. Made. Sense. Thanks to Tom and Ben for all the support!

Having known Ben personally for many years - I'd like to take the time and effort taken by the whole Citygate team for answering all my questions and making me confident in the whole onboarding process. The whole team have been brilliant from start to finish! Looking forward to future developments and opportunities!

Was skeptical at first, however after speaking to the Citygate team and speaking with their agent Noah i was able to get a clear understanding into the whole process and legal protection. I have just seen the first £600 in my account and i am very pleased :)
