Bricked ring, no response
If I could give them negative stars, I would. I received their ring close to beginning of September. Data tracking has been horrendous, but they kept reassuring everyone that this is temporary, so I waited. Then 18 days ago, during a firmware update the ring died. The sensors do not light up anymore, it does not respond to charging, to anything. It's completely bricked. I contacted customer support immediately (18 days ago at this point). I have yet to receive any response. This company are scammers. Don't buy anything from them.

I don't see any other reports of delaminating linings of the rings... so thought it's important to warn of this additional "issue".
Of course the other issues mentioned, app not syncing, data not syncing reliably, and incomplete data about 60-70% of the time apply, though I haven't been able to even WEAR the ring due to the lining delaminating and peeling! The wife's ring also has the sync and accuracy issues...
I emailed Circular when the lining self destructed (I was just taking the ring off to charge, and had taken good care of it while in use for approx 2 months!), with detailed pictures of the peeled lining... It's been nearly a month, with NO RESPONSE from the company.
I did get the AI on their sales website to agree that the lack of communication and manufacturing defect were entirely unacceptable and that I should be refunded!! It seems that this company is AI driven, as their ad campaigns and some of the reviews I see here seem very "bot like"!!
In short, IF you are considering this product/company based on their shiny ads and such, at a minimum do your homework, as it's probably best to avoid doing business with these "people"!? Their Kickstarter campaign was super slick, but the product is a DUD and the delamination at barely over 2 months is indicative of much more serious problems as the ring is worn as you would normally...

So disappointed in the product and customer service. I’ve written numerous emails with zero response. Their data NEVER uploads. The whole reason I got it was to track my sleep bc I don’t like wearing my Apple Watch to bed and I can’t even get my sleep data 50% of the time. Save your money.
Replacement is a joke
The ring that they sent was too small based on their digital measuring tool. I returned it over two months ago, and no replacement has been shipped yet. Every time I ask about it, I am told they need to inspect the return for any missing items in the box, or they are not on the same team and will escalate the issue, etc. This company is a fraud, beware!
App does not work, so the ring is useless
The app crashes before downloading my data and I have been unable to see the data from the ring in over a week. I have reached out to the company and they offer to send troubleshooting tips (which do not work, I've tried them all) and refuse to refund my money since I backed them with Kickstarter. I paid almost 300$ for a ring that is useless without being able to view the data it has stored.
I am very disappointed and would not recommend this company's ring at all.

As you've probably seen with all the other reviews, it's a total bait and switch with this company. This was, quite literally, my first Kickstarter. It's too bad because they've ruined the experience. The ring has been delayed, delayed, delayed and their replies are weeks if not months. Then I left a negative view on another site and they got back to me on Kickstarter in about a day. What's ironic is they had been using a customer service email for the last 5 months in replying to me. I told them to keep the money. I just assume it's a sunk cost at this point, but almost every review, 63% at this point, shows just what a horrible experiences has been for people. I'm sorry I ever went down this road

Wish i could pick 0 stars. Customer service is deliberately slow and unhelpful. Their ring sizing information was terrible so i got the wrong size and emailed them the next day (5 sept). I got no response for months. First i was patient like the told us to be that a response could take 2 weeks but it went over 2 months with no response. Its now been 3 months since i emailed to ask for a ring exchange and still no ring. They have emailed me very unhelpfully 3 times with the tiniest snippets of info and not answering everything i ask. I apparently need to pay for shipping my ring back as well as the new postage before i get a ring but i still have no details of that either. I havent been fighting them on it, thats not whats delaying it, just their complete lack of customer service. Businesses shouldn’t take months to respond to you. Disgusting, terrible company. Wish i never bought it. Do yourself a favour and buy a ring with a company that knows customer service

Supported the Kickstarter pledge and the ring is a pile of junk. Constant app issues, never could count the correct number of steps and the worst customer service you can imagine. They say they take 3-4 weeks to respond to you and it’s been longer since my last. Mine sits in a draw unused and my partner’s was returned for a size exchange end of Sept and it is now 6th Dec and still awaiting the replacement.

Company lies through their teeth
Thinking about buying a ring to track you health? DO NOT GET A CIRCULAR 2! Read reddit, google search Circular, and check how they did a complete 180 on their Kickstarter campaign. They flat-out lied about what we would be getting and changed the Kickstarter campaign after they were funded. There's no reason to support this company when there are so many better companies out there who deserve your business.
Great Concept, Severely Undermined by Non-Existent Support and Missed Deadlines
I received the Circular Ring 2 after months of complete radio silence following my purchase. While the hardware has finally arrived, the experience since then has been deeply disappointing, primarily due to the complete lack of operational support and communication from the company.
Non-Existent Customer Support and Communication:
Customer support is effectively non-existent. My attempts to get clarity on timelines or issues have been met with silence. Furthermore, communication regarding current development and critical server infrastructure fixes has been severely lacking.
Missed Deadlines and Infrastructure Issues:
The company publicly promised that necessary server infrastructure fixes would be implemented by the end of November. As of December 5th, this deadline has been missed with zero subsequent communication or updates provided to customers. This silence, especially following a critical missed deadline for a core operational component, is unacceptable.
Product State (UI/UX):
In its current state, the Ring 2 is "kind of working." The data collection seems to function, but the user interface (UI) is poor and the overall user experience (UX) feels unfinished and frustrating to navigate. The software needs significant refinement to match the promise of the hardware.
In summary, Circular Ring 2 has potential, but the company’s inability to communicate, provide basic customer support, and hit critical development deadlines means I cannot recommend this product at this time. Improvement hinges entirely on fixing the server stability, improving the UI/UX, and, most importantly, re-establishing transparent communication with the customer base.

Extremely dissatisfied with my circular Ring 2.
It hasn't worked at all since the beginning, and even though the company keeps promising updates and fixes, it doesn't cahnge that the core / base function of the ring still doesn't work. Take step counter for example, or a app that seamlessly syncs.
It HAS to be better than this. No excuses. We've been patient enough for 6 months now, waiting for software fixes, but in that time the ring has been basically useless.
Please save your money.
Oh... And of course we've tried to contact customer service several times, even with no response, or a 4-week waiting on a response that recommends trying to pair/unpair again (done that several times already).. so, customer service also useless

I have been waiting weeks at this point for a replacement of a wrong size ring. This company’s customer service has been subpar, taking several months before they responded to my request for a different size. Once I finally got customer service online they made me pay $30 for USPS ground shipping for a very small package to return it, approximately double actual cost. They have had the original ring in their possession for weeks at this point and still have not shipped out a replacement . I reached out again to customer service and was told they would inspect it and make sure it was in perfect condition and then they would send out the correct size ring. I received an email on 10/16/25 saying that they are updating the size I want and to be patient. This is ridiculous that I’ve had to wait another whole month and still no ring.
I am so frustrated with this whole process that I would never recommend to anyone to purchase anything from this company.
Bad Service, Poor quality, Inconsistent/No Data
My ring does not record the parameters (HRV, O2, RHR, Sleep), been raising this to customer service across multiple channels for 2+ months (since 3rd Sept) and still no response despite ongoing follow ups. Doens;t track workouts. Have followed all resets, factory resets etc as recommended. Can't use the ring. Unreliable.
Two months later and no ring...
Ordered ring in early September. Emailed about shipping status early October. No response. Emailed again early November, again no response. A week later emailed and let them know I was disputing the charges on my credit card. They replied telling me they shipped the ring and it was delivered in Knoxville, TN. The only problem is that I live in Tampa, FL! Wow! I get being busy, but ignoring my inquiries for two months, then telling me that my ring was delivered to the wrong address is simply unacceptable. I was excited to try this ring, but will never do business with this company based on my experience.
Money wasted
I had super high hopes for this ring. I bought it because I felt my fit bit wasn't tracking my steps accurately. Well this ring is garbage at that. Today my fit bit shows me at over 11,000 steps and the ring? Not even at 1500 yet.
Yes I am on the current software and yes I've done all their recommendations. Reset etc. It's been months so I hoped it would get better.

The ring is functionally poor
The ring is basically useless, the companion app is very poor and there is no real way to use the ring in a way that is what you would want out of a proper wearable. Activity tracking is beyond poor, there's no auto tracking, and no way to edit activities after you've started one, say for instance you start a jog and realise after you accidentally selected rowing or something, you're unable to edit it, so it throws the metrics out. Either the ring or the companion app has issues where it will just decide to measure your heart rate and wild or very large intervals, and it doesn't give you any sort of notice that this is occuring as unlike other wearables it only syncs with the app when you open the app itself, it doesn't sync periodically on its own. Overall I paid for the Kickstarter as I was keen on a smart ring with no subscription, but this has been a disappointing endeavour.
This company is a joke
A few days ago, I ordered the measurement kit. A couple of hours later, I realized I didn’t need it because I already knew my ring size, so I contacted customer support to ask if they could cancel the order.
They replied the same day, confirming that the order hadn't been processed yet, but they still refused to issue a refund, saying my request was sent “outside the applicable refund period.”
I asked how that was possible if the order had just been placed and hadn’t been processed yet. The only response I got was… they shipped the order.
I may have wasted 20 euros, but I’m glad I didn’t order the ring itself. If this is how they treat customers, this company doesn’t deserve a future.
UPDATE: It looks like my negative review worked. I just received an email saying there was a misunderstanding and that if I refuse the package upon delivery, they’ll refund me once it’s returned. So I’m raising my review by one star, no more, because this whole thing should never have happened in the first place.
