I’ve ordered from CI several times past, no issues. And then just this week get a letter from a collection agency for a supposedly $60+ unpaid bill, 2 years ago!?
Really? No notice until just now?
If this is how you treat customers I will NEVER buy from CI again.

Buyer Beware
Over the years I have placed a number of orders with Cigars International. This week, I received a collection notice for an order placed in June 2021. After a 45 hold waiting for a representative to answer, I was told they conducted a business audit and found I wasn't billed correctly and now owed this amount. Two years later it is almost impossible to check my credit card records. They could not provide any further proof and it was only for a partial amount of the order that didn't match any item price with or without taxes and shipping fees. I asked how an order could be shipped without a credit card payment and the representative could not clearly articulate a reasonable answer. They have lost a customer and I will be sure to share my experience with my cigar smoking friends. After reading reviews on other sites this is apparently a common issue a number of other customers have faced. Buyer beware that you may receive a bill years later!
Company provided fake tracking and no communication
Company provided a tracking number that was delivered 2 months prior to my order and a completely different state. Complete fraudulent company. Working with my bank, since this company is an obvious scam.
Customer Service Is Going Downhill
Customer service is very bad the last year or so. They don't even reply to support messages.
With recent orders, I have been provided tracking numbers right away that were delivered to another state 2+ months before my order was even placed. All requests for a valid tracking number were ignored. This last order has been over a week with no communication or valid tracking number.

Don’t order from them. Ordered once then was getting charged every month from them. Not even sure what it’s for as we did not sign up for any subscriptions. Canceled our card. What a scam.

Will not order anything else from you whe on the last order they came in dry and hard. When I complained, you wanted to give me a $20 coupon. No thanks, just don’t trust you anymore for good cigars.

Stay away from this guys. Over 20 years ordering from them all of the sudden i see a charge of $14.95 called Puro Perks so called my bank to dispute the charge and the bank told me they have been taking that $14.95 for 2 months in a row already. Did call them to cancel this puro perks i belive is called and also deleting my account with this loosers. Sticking there hand on peoples poket and take the money.
CI took a customer service hit since covid
CI took a hit since covid. Service is better in the last several months. I have used CI for my cigars for years. The last three years have been a little rough. I have always been treated fairly by company.

Get cigars elsewhere
Won’t stop sending me catalogs even though I have been asking them to stop via email, phone and letters for over a year. Can’t get orders right. Will charge you and not ship the product. Go elsewhere.
Odd business practices.
Got a coupon in the mail from one of those coupon mailers, ordered the sampler pack for like 40$. It was out of stock. I then ordered other cigars that shipped. A few weeks later they sent the original sampler. Months after I placed another order and waited weeks for it to ship before I finally reached out. They demanded I payed them like 30$ as the sampler pack was for new customers only and since it shipped after my other order they didn’t consider me a new customer. Pretty irritating. I can never use their website again because they claim I owe them money.

That would have you paining an extra $14.95 cents monthly after you completed your order. I do enjoy the chose of cigars and fast shipping. Just disappointed at the same time when seeing an extra charge. Customer Service seem rude and abrupt in answers. I was first only calling to find out what was the charge for and realized that I will go to Thompson Cigars from now on.

Paid for express shipping as I would be in the USA for a week long window. Took 7 days at the extra cost of 2-3 day shipping and box was UTTERLY DESTROYED, OPENED and product DAMAGED! Messaged many times. Refuse to communicate.
Cancelled Orders / No Communication
Made two orders with a valid discount code. Have both order confirmations in email. Orders were cancelled by CI with no notification or communication. It was over a month before the orders were cancelled. Emailed and called customer service with no response. Waited and hour and a half on the phone before hanging up. Continued emails with no response. ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Will not do any business with this company again.

Don’t buy from here cause they will charge you twice after years, They hold on my orders for over a month it says processing and when I call they say one of my orders wasn’t paid from tow years ago. I said then why I got no payment request and I’m sure I paid that. They basically hold on my money and order. For no freaking reason. I am out of this CI .. I have had enough of them
Zero customer service
Consistently one of the worst customer experiences I have had across any online vendor. No communication. Multiple times my orders were either cancelled or held without any communication. Advertised items never seem to be in stock either. I am moving on to other companies.

Poorly Handled Cigars and No Customer Service
I have now received two shipments of cigars from CI that were obviously mishandled at some point. One batch (Torano 50 Years) came with a crumbling wrapper. The most recent batch (Victor Sinclair Vintage Select) came with shriveled looking, wrinkled wrapper and an impossible draw. Contacting CI via their website yielded no response whatsoever. Switching to Famous Smokes for my future online purchases. If you want to roll the dice on dried out, mishandled cigars, suit yourself.
