Cicar is the best car rental company…
Cicar is the best car rental company ever. Always good price, no credit card needed, no deposit, insurance included and efficient staff. I wish cicar wasn't only available in Canary islands, I would use Cicar all over the world!

This is what car hire should be like…
This is what car hire should be like everywhere.
Originally booked an Abarth 124 Spider in March for a week hire in May, however since covid, had to change the reservation twice (finally having the holiday in September). Each time it was a case of a quick email to Cicar customer service, with a return confirmation being sent within 30 minutes, completely hassle free.
Arriving at TFS airport, quickly found the the rental desk at the terminal and was seen immediately with paperwork being limited to a signature and copies made of drivers licences. Two drivers included in the hire price, as well as, most importantly, full insurance. The only deposit secured against the credit card was 52 euros to ensure full tank upon return.
Car itself in very good condition, despite slightly higher milage for a rental cars I'm accustomed to (slightly over 30k km). Few scuffs inside, but everything in working order and no technical issues at all. Also I'd like to add here that Cicar has a very good range of vehicles in TFS, and my hired two seater convertible was an absolute joy to drive.
Return super easy, took perhaps a minute, and parking is just across the terminal's entrance.
There is no doubt that this is the only rental car company I'm going to use in the Canary Islands.
