I've been using Chronoform for over 10 years. It allows for a huge amount of customization, and I'm really very happy with it. The only slight drawback is that there isn't really an explanation of all the available options.

Appalling. I've put up with crap from this company for a good 4 years. Licenses are generally sold without expiry - until they turn off the support as PHP Versions advance. The support forum is hit and miss to say the least and is dominated by certain characters who don't appear to actually work for ChronoEngine who like to get their company's promoted in the footer of their forum posts.
Chronoforms, one of their products, in particular, appears to have a lot of functionality and their products are geared towards big business but it is totally unclear as to how to use the majority.
The manual for version 6 was pretty appalling and they released version 7 about a year ago and didn't even release a manual for it even though the layout is totally different and extremely overwhelming. Version 7 is not compatible with PHP Version 8 by the way.
I wouldn't recommend it but there is just not much else out there. Joomla have needed to shut these guys down for years by actually providing a proper built in contact form solution - one of many reasons why having chosen Joomla website design and development over Drupal as a young lad has proven a really poor decision.
I'd probably give Joomla a swerve, let alone Chronoforms - unless your desperate. The attitude from the Developer's isn't much better. They have no clue how to run a business, clearly.
