This company is corrupted
This company is corrupted. Purchased two 6 Man Tents online advertised in the sale for a family camping trip that was planned for two weeks later.
An email was then received two days later to say if the item is received please return it.. When the item was received they were the incorrect item and the warehouse had obviously been told to send an alternative. It is actually illegal to send an alternative product that the customer has not purchased in its replace. The products sent were Tent carpets. When getting in touch with Debenhams who asked Christow about the mistake they said a pricing error had occurred. I honestly this that was part of some scam to take your money, warehouse keeps the products and they send a cheap alternative and they blame a system listing error. Do not use this dodgey company.

We would like to reassure you that Christow is a legitimate UK retailer and that this was not a scam or an attempt to mislead customers. Unfortunately, an incorrect price was published on our website due to a genuine system error. As soon as this was identified, the listing was corrected and affected customers were contacted to explain the situation.
The tent carpets you received were not sent as a substitute for the tents you had ordered. They were dispatched in error as a result of a warehouse fulfilment mistake, and we acknowledge that this added to your frustration. This was not an intentional replacement, and we apologise for that error.
We appreciate that the situation was disappointing, particularly given your upcoming camping trip. However, we categorically reject any suggestion that this was a deliberate attempt to take payment while knowingly supplying a cheaper product. The pricing error and the fulfilment error were genuine mistakes, and we sincerely regret the inconvenience they caused.
We apologise again for your experience and appreciate your feedback, which helps us improve our processes to reduce the likelihood of similar errors occurring in the future.
Outdoor bar
Easy to purchase and when delivered loved the product. Only issue was the product was delayed although the website had said would be a couple of days it was more like 2 weeks. The team responded to me to explain the time scales expected.

I have had small plastic greenhouses…
I have had small plastic greenhouses before and this one has to be the BEST ever. It is not as high as others but WIDER which means more trays and plants per shelf. Also once erected it is quite firm and not as flimsy as others I have had. Would possibly request one more wire shelf as it could provide space for larger potted plants under the 'apex' of the roof. Love it and highly recommend this one.

Terrible customer service
I placed an order for a faux living wall. This involved ordering 3 packs of the same product. The order was dispatched quickly. However I only received one box of the three ordered.
My husband called straight away and was rudely told that ‘systems were down and he’d have to call back’. We have since called several times and been unable to get through - even with waiting 20 mins for someone to answer. I have completed the query form on line only to receive a reply that it will take 7-10 days to reply. Terrible customer service.
