Fraudulent company. Customer service is virtually nonexistent, spins you around in circles, then just stops responding. Returns are impossible. I’m out $150 after returning eyeglasses to them. Christopher Cloos is a scam and should be shut down.

Bad Experience Continues. Unethical Company.
This is a continuation of my initial review from the end of last year.
My order, placed November 25, 2022, remains unshipped as of this review (almost two months later).
I have been lied to repeatedly by Christopher Cloos email representatives. I was also contacted via text by two representatives. One (named Charles) that I arranged a call with during which he asked me to take my initial TrustPilot review down upon receipt of my order. He seemed to be genuinely trying to help at the time, but ultimately did not follow through on his promises (namely, ensuring my order finally shipped!). The other representative, Julius Langkilde (one of the Christopher Cloos founders) did not respond to my reply texts or calls. Both representatives' phone lines appear to have now been disconnected/deactivated.
Recent emails to Christopher Cloos email support have gone ignored. The most recent of my emails that has not received a response was sent over two weeks ago.
The product I purchased is still available on the Christopher Cloos website, again, with no indication of low (or no) inventory, backorder or other reason for delay.
Weeks ago, I submitted a BBB complaint. The BBB was unable to connect with Christopher Cloos, and their resolution process remains ongoing.
I intend to submit formal complaints with the FTC and state consumer protection divisions if there is not resolution before the end of this month.

Order Never Delivered and Unresponsive Customer Service
I ordered two pairs of sunglasses in late November 2022. Instead of sending me sunglasses, Christopher Cloos sent me a pair of blue light glasses about three weeks after my order. In mid-December, I notified them that I ordered two pairs of sunglasses but had only received a pair of blue light glasses, and to please send me them at their convenience. Christopher Cloos customer service said they would send them that day. Since then, Christopher Cloos customer service has continuously ignored my communications. It is now January 17, almost three months since my order, and I haven't received the items that I ordered and Christopher Cloos customer service will not respond to me. Now my only option is to report Christopher Cloos to my credit card company as fraud. Very unprofessional and disappointing way to treat customers.

They did not refund me the money.
They kept my money.
They keep saying, "they have technical issues", "credit card system does not work", "they asked for PaylPal ID, I gave them the ID and no they do not answer the email... totally liars,

Company bankruptcy? Store closure and unresponsive, please help!
I paid these 1300 kr for a pair of glasses with tinted lenses and when I came to pick them up the store was gone !
They don’t pick up any of there numbers provided or respond to emails or messages online via instagram or Facebook.
Possible scam.

Absolute scam. Initial order was placed in July 2022, 6 months later and few dozen of emails, I lost hope to receive anything. After lying several times about future deliveries, they have now stopped responding to anything. Nonetheless the website continues to operate and take the money of new customers and advertise their products on instagram. Avoid at all cost.

The worst f-ing service I have ever…
The worst f-ing service I have ever had. Ordered a pair of prescriptions sunglasses on November 4th and now two months later I have yet to receive it and they refuse to provide any update or refund my order. I have emailed them north of 20 times and they take forever to respond. When they do respond they make empty promises that your order will be delivered soon and refuse to issue a refund. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SCAM COMPANY. Take a look at the other reviews here that have had similar issues.

FRAUD - DO NOT ORDER PURCHASE HERE
Fraud - Ordered a frame that didn’t work for progressive lenses so returned it and ordered another pair. Didn’t get refund for return, which was sent with delivery verification, and never received the 2nd pair that I ordered. Customer service is via email and they have stopped replying. I am sure Tom Brady wouldn’t want to be associated with them.

Frauds. Confirming the experience of many others here. They are able to take your money within a day, yet it's clear order fulfillment is not part of their business model. I'm going on 65 days and seven attempts at correspondence (unanswered). Now pursuing claims through my credit card company.

Order was never delivered. After repeatedly asking via email for a refund and being offered gift cards, etc., I submitted a chargeback request to my credit card company. Don't waste your time - this company is running a scam.

Stealing/Unreliable Company
Christopher Cloos is not a reliable company. Like many other commentators here, I too have problems with getting my money back after returning a product that I did not want to keep. During the whole returning process I have needed to ask what is going on, and now I've been waiting to get my money back for 6 months.
They are claiming there to be problems with their payment system, but "strangely" enough they don't inform about that on the website... Also I've already twice given them Paypal account information to be able to get my money back that way, after they suggested a refund through PayPal instead, but I've just gotten promises of my money being on my account in 10 days. That still hasn't happened after waiting for 3 weeks since the last promise - in total I've sent 17 emails to them through this whole return process, and that's way too many to be in any way acceptable.
I wonder if anyone ever has actually gotten their money back after a return to Christopher Cloos?

No Refund after 7 months. Repeatedly lied to by Customer Service
I ordered two pairs of glasses in May of 2022 and promptly returned them. Since then, there have been 37 emails between Christopher Cloos and me. In there are over 7 emails saying I would receive a refund in 8-10 business days. I have not received a refund. The last email they sent to me said my order would be shipped out on Monday which was very confusing because I am waiting on a refund for glasses shipped back to them over six months ago! They have repeated lied about refunding money. They have repeatedly lied that they are "working on internal systems". There is nothing truthful coming from this company unfortunately.

Terrible Service!
Lies, lies, and more lies from the Customer Service Support team at Christopher Cloos. Placed an order for 2 pairs of sunglasses in July, 2022. As of end of December, 2022 have still not received the 2nd pair despite multiple emails from Cloos Customer Service saying they would be shipped soon, or back in stock shortly, or whatever. They try to placate you with gift cards, so after receiving 3 gift cards due to delays I figured I would redeem them for another pair of sunglasses in a different style. So, ordered a pair almost 6 weeks ago now - after first inquiring as to if they were in stock. Was told they were in stock, so went ahead and ordered - using the gift cards and paying the balance. After checking on the order multiple times and getting apology after apology, they STILL cannot give me a tracking number which means they still have not shipped these to me. Great marketing, ton of advertising...but the follow through on the shipping side is horrendous. Will be requesting refunds if these are not received by end of next week. Then, will be reaching out to Tom Brady to ask him why he is partnering with this company.

Horrible Experience Continues
I can no longer trust this company. I ordered a pair of glasses in July 2022 and was repeatedly told delivery would occur and it never did. On November 29, 2022, I was told "Your order has been canceled and the refund process has been initiated. The refund process will be finalized in 10 business days. You will receive an email notification when this occurs."
To date, I still have not received a refund. I have followed up multiple times and have not received a response.
This company could not complete my order for over 4 months, and now they aren't even refunding payment. If they respond, maybe they can indicate why I have not received a refund after a month!

Absolutely shady company- do not BUY!!! I ordered sunglasses for my brother in Colour A and they sent out Colour B to me with Colour A's sticker label pasted over it. Numerous emails to ask for a refund, they kept saying they would prefer not to refund and to give me a "credit" to spend and they would send out the back ordered Colour A sunglasses first week December. I ordered in November mind you- up until now after emails from my brother and me(No response) It seems like this is how they scam customers. Sunglasses feel CHEAP too, everyone please skip this company. Many other better brands with higher ethics/business practices to consider. Shameful to behave like this to paying customers in this day and age.
