In early December 2022 I ordered a pair of sunglasses through christopher-cloos.com . The transaction was cleared and charged to my credit card account on Dec 2022. The Danish company went into bankruptcy on Dec 16 and the trustees say they have no authority to deal with orders purchased through the US website. I have been unable to get reimbursed or my order filled. All effort to reach the US company have failed. I am seeking full reimbursement or my order filled.

The order arrived in a matter of days, and the whole process could not have been smoother. Of course, the glasses are class A, but as I already had some of the previous models, that did not surprise me.

So bad - I actually went to their store in Copenhagen- bought a pair of TB’s - and ordered and paid for a pair of prescription reading glasses As per everyone else - they were never sent to me. Pathetic business- and perhaps TB might want to compensate us folks in North America- cause I’m sure most us went Cloos because they were his line.

My order was initially made on the 21st of May 2022 for the Elsa frame. About a year has now passes and I have not received my order nor an update from you in 6 months. According to my bank the order was cancelled which is very strange, since I have neither received an update from you, Christopher Cloos, regarding the matter, nor my money back. I feel really disappointed, scammed and sad that I never got to wear the sunglasses.

I ordered a pair of sunglasses from the Elsa Hosk collection last year in May 2022. As of today, I still don't have the sunglasses or the refund. There were many emails between me and customer service where they said some parts were missing for the glasses and they kept delaying the sunglasses, promising I would get them in a few weeks. Now I know I have been scammed since they refuse to offer me a refund. I have never been scammed before so I am very disappointed that I fell prey to this company. When you go to their website, you can still pay for the sunglasses even though they cannot fulfill the order. This is a highly unethical company. Please do not give them your hard earned money

TERRIBLE company. Ordered a pair of sunglasses over 8 months ago and have no received the order or a refund. Do NOT order from them- they now are saying that they can’t “handle” claims from the US when I inquired about a refund. So they feel comfortable stealing from you. I never leave negative reviews but this has been a year long nightmare.

DO NOT PURCHASE. It has been over one month since I‘ve “donated” my money to Christopher Cloos. I’ve done some research and it appears as though they filed for bankruptcy back in December. I have made countless attempts to make contact with the founders (Gustav Hossy and Julius Langkilde) along with a dozen emails to their customer care team. If this is any indication as to how they managed their business then it is crystal clear as to why Christopher Cloos is going bankrupt.

No communication
After waiting almost 2 weeks with zero communication on my order status, I decided to write an email on 1/18/2023 to identify where my order was. Another week went by, no response to my email. I sent another email and I am not expecting a response. They don't answer the phone nor respond to emails. Not to mention, they still have their Holiday out of office email auto reply set up. That should tell you enough about them keeping their customers in the loop on order progress. I hope I receive my glasses to adjust my review, but so far it has been awful.

What a horrible service
What a horrible service, I bought the pampelonne clip on glasses back on November as a Christmas gift for my husband. The right glass doesn't sit correctly on the frame and they don't actually clip on. I've asked since then multiple times for a return label following their instructions on the website and no one has responded. I tried calling no answer either. They were super diligent to get my money and extremely difficult to get in contact with or to offer any support. Should've get the ones from Etsy 😡

Purchased a pair of sunglasses, they have still not shipped after numerous weeks. Multiple attempts to contact the company with no response. They have already charged my card and I really don’t expect them to ever get back to me, or get my product. Don’t bother.
